Thread: Wielders

"Hm? You sent me a message, miss?" Eliot asked, turning to Winter, recovering from his ice cream induced bliss.

"Get me an ice cream and I'll hug you." Alex shouted to Eliot. She was missing her couch, Raman and tv so she thought she earned an ice cream.

"Oh...Kay. I never was one to turn down a hug from a cute girl." Eliot said, getting her some ice cream.

Winter turned to Eliot as he went to go get the ice cream. He and the girl were certainly... different.

"Wielder Winter! Do you read me! Wielder Winter!" her communicator boomed to life.

Winter only sighed, pushing the button. "Status repor-" she didn't even get the word out.

"He's back! He's attacking our base, now!" Winter's eyes immediately widened.

"Where are you now?! Report!"

"Northernmost Akkinda! Near the fountains! The gods, he's slaughtering us-"

"Look, I'll be there!" Winter yelled. However, the scream on the other side of the communicator let her know her words were on deaf ears. Cursing acidly, the blonde took off into a run.

Alex chased after winter, managing to keep up with her quite well. "I still want that ice cream!" She shouted as she ran. She didn't plan on losing track of winter, she seemed to be the only one with some form of an idea where the demons were.

Winter growled as she ran faster, trying to reach the base as quickly as she possibly could. They would all get slaughtered if she were to-

"I still want that ice cream!" she suddenly heard. Turning on her heel, Winter stopped to stand behind a building wall. Turning a quick glare to the girl following her, she snapped.

"What the hell are you following me for?!" she stared to the girl with a look of incredulity. "I'm busy!"

Turning the corner, Winter's eyes narrowed as she surveyed the streets. Empty...

This wasn't good.

Alex stopped quite easily. "I'm a wielder and you're the only who seems to have an idea where the demons are." Alex replied. She noticed winter's eyes were not on here but behind her. She glanced back at the empty street then shifted her hands to the handles of her kanatas.

Daemon walked through the streets of the city. He hated large communities, but he needed supplies before he could return to his travels. While not paying attention girl emanating a strange energy ran past him knocking him over. "Well she's in a rush," he growled. The girl's energy was storage but also familiar. "Wielder," he suddenly blurted out before running off in the direction where she had went.

Leaping off a rooftop next to Alex, chakram in hand, Coralie whirled to face Winter. "You seem like the only one here who knows what the hell is going on here. Care to explain?"

Winter's eyes narrowed as she surveyed the streets. Looking around, she made to not answer Coralie; she would know soon enough.

Bringing up her hand, she pressed the button on her communicator. "... This is Wielder Winter Veriia calling in... do you read me?" No answer. Of course not; they were all probably dead.

Winter felt the wind pass by her... and her eyes widened. It held a faint smell... "Blood..." the wind was blowing the scent of blood. She was too far away from the base for it to have carried all the way to her, unless...

Drawing her guns, the blonde shot immediately past Coralie's head. The resounding roar was enough to tell her exactly what happened. As the Demon hit the ground, surely dead from the impact of her bullet; another roar ripped from the throat of another atop a roof. Winter whipped her head to it, her eyes narrowed. Looking to Coralie and Alex, she nodded. "Alright, so you two wanted to see demons?" as if on cue, claws grabbed hold of the building edges, multiple twisted figures walking into view. "Well, I guess you got your wishes!"

Eyes narrowing, Coralie flicked her wrist, sending a whirling ring of steely death flying in an arc through the demons, slicing their black flesh and felling many before curving to return to her outstretched hand.

OOC: How are stats going to be implemented?

(OOC: Typically, lower levelled enemies are less than half your power. Therefore, they just serve as the battles you face. Today, I will be handing out stat spread boosts for your activities in the RPG. However, once actual strong characters come in; they will have stats themselves. So be prepared.)

Winter rushed another group, kicking one across its face. Spinning, the blonde unleashed a flurry of bullets upon one at close range. Turning, she leapt back; growling as she felt her arm get cut by one. Hissing angrily, she rushed in; jumping to knee its chin. She wasn't done there; opting to smash the side of its face with her gun, sending it to the ground. Stepping on its torso, she unleashed a storm of rapid fire bullets up its torso.

She didn't see the demon that would make its way behind her, raising its claw to attack her.

It wouldn't get the chance, as Coralie's chakram decapitated it. Nodding at Winter, she went back to her gruesome work.

Alex didn't bother even replying to winter. She drew her kanatas rushed towards the nearest demon. The demon she had launched was in the form of a large black tiger. Alex lunged towards the beast grinning wickedly. She stopped suddenly in front of the demon and launched her right kanata through the demon's head.

OOC: good enough?

Daemon stopped in his tracks as he saw three people fighting what had to be demons. "Finally some action," he growled, an evil grin on his face. He ripped his sword out of its sheath and rushed forward. Two humanoid demons rushed towards him. Their bodies seemed to be made of pure darkness. As the wind blew into them, it seemed as though they waved like a pitch black fire. Daemon held his sword out to the side and ran forward. Suddenly turning mid course, he cut through the two and continued forward.
