Name: Arachneo Valentine
Age: 20

Sexuality: Straight
Appearance: Arachneo stands at 6'0", with black hair that reaches to his eyebrows and sharp, amber eyes. He has an average build. His skin is slightly dark. He is usually wearing a spider pendant, with a cord for the necklace. He also wears two chain spinner rings, one on each index finger. Arachneo usually looks like he's glaring, but it's hard to tell at times. He is seen wearing short-sleeve polos, long-sleeve button-up shirts, or whatever suits him. His colors are either purple, red or black. Dark, relaxed jeans are also part of his wardrobe, as well as black socks and shoes.
History: Arachneo grew up in an abusive home as a child. Before, he was known as "Neo." He only made it to college due to his own work and progress. His family would offer no help whatsoever. His mother and father divorced, and was forced to shuffle between the two evils. His mother, being mentally abusive. And his father, never spending time with him. He'd just send Arachneo into his room until the weekend was over. His mother would tell him he was a mistake, and was worthless. Even if Arachneo tried to show love, he'd be shut away.
He was an only child, and raised himself with only a small group of friends. But, that was only for a short time. They had moved away, and never made contact with him. After that, Arachneo never really bothered making friends. He never really "connected" with anyone after that. As he grew up, he collected quite the intelligence, able to graduate early. After high school, he had a fight with his father. The neighbors had called the police, and arrested his father for child abuse.
After that night, Arachneo had moved out to Seattle and changed his name, so that he could try to erase his past. After finishing college and getting a job as a librarian, he developed as a person, and became quite the gothic individual. He developed a fascination with spiders, and all things dark. He also became fond of Pokemon, and so bought himself a DS and the fifth generation Pokemon games.
One night, he had encountered the Midnight Stream, saw Ariados on the screen, and was teleported to a world of mirrors that distorted his image. Some looked just like him, and others looked as if he was a mere shell of what he was. He came across his Shadow, and reminded him of the family that had tortured him mentally and emotionally. He also tried to make him believe he was a failure, just like he dreamed each night since he moved out to Seattle.
Through the pain and suffering, Arachneo realized he was a new man, and that he had nothing to do with the family that didn't love him. He knew they were nothing, and dead to him. He tried and tried to love them, but realized it was all for not. So now, he lives life a bit more fulfilled, and has his Spinarak persona with him.
As he heard about the deaths involving the "Midnight Stream," he knew others were suffering because of their own anguish and despair. So, he created the Pokemon fanbase in Seattle to not only bring fellow Pokemon fans together, but to see how to help these "Dormant" individuals.
Personality: Arachneo is a quiet individual. But even through the pain and suffering he went through as a child, he still feels slightly fulfilled having become a new man. He enjoys the darker side of life. The gothic life. Arachneo can get very angry when tempered the wrong way. He is usually sitting and reading or thinking. If you try to interrupt his reading, he will glare at you. He enjoys being in his apartment alone at times, but doesn't mind company, and is also usually walking in the rain. He is a bit of an audiophile as well, seen with his iPhone pumping music into his head. Try to talk to him by pulling out his earphones? May you rest in peace.
All in all, he is soft under that hard shell. He wants to love and be loved, but has a hard time doing so. Therefore, he keeps his distance at times. At others, he feels he can be open and honest with others if they are with him.
