Personality
Silver is a very smooth person in general. Usually never without tact and serenity, he is easily one of the calmer members of the school. A hard worker and natural overachiever, Silver fought tooth and nail to gain the position that he has, today. Unlike those around him, Silver never underestimates others when in a fight. He is always prepared for the worst possible outcome; which usually leaves him a bit "over-prepared" at times. He shows an incredible amount of respect for his opponents, never wishing to down other's abilities; no matter how outlandish or evil. However, he is shown to have a deep resolve - one dark enough to be hidden in the shadows. He often avoids questions about his upbringing and past.

Appearance
Silver is a tall boy, standing at nearly 6'1" in height. With aptly named silver-colored hair, emerald eyes, and a near serene look of cool aloofness on his face; he is considered rather handsome by the female persuasion. His build is a bit thin, with muscle packed in. He is lighter than many males in the school, though this is only due to his light eating. For this reason, he tends to snack during the day to keep his strength up.

History

Abilities: Light Manipulation; or the ability to control light: electromagnetic radiation that is visible to the human eye and which is emitted and absorbed in tiny "packets" called photons. Can generate, bend, shift, focus, scatter and generally manipulate light to various degrees and effects; such as using it to blind, using it as a barrier, firing it as beams/blasts, etc.
- Advantages: Silver has an incredible amount of control with the ability, and it is - in general - very easy to use once the process of gaining light works.
- Disadvantages: Silver needs at least a bit of light to even use his powers to a much more downgraded degree. With this in mind, he has been working on various ways to increase his proficiency; such as holding pendants that shine light, using reflective mirrors, etc.

Weapon
His most powerful technique, the Sun God Armor, which gives him the advanced control over light and brings out his power to its fullest extent. Picture Reference.

Skills
Out of all of the current student body, Silver stands as the strongest practitioner of magic. Although his grades are only second-best, falling behind one other student, he is the most powerful magic-user in terms of sheer strength and dexterity.

Name: Samuel (Sam) Strike
Gender: Male
Age: 16
Sexuality: heterosexual

Appearance: Sam has spiked black hair that goes down to his ear, he has a pair of brown coloured eyes that show a clear coldness and the mentality to win. He has tanned coloured skin along with a scar along the right side of his neck. He has an athletic built and always wears a suit with weights around his waist as well as wearing some weights around his wrists and ankle. He usually wears formal clothing, having a blue coloured jacket with a white shirt underneath it along with a pair of black pants. He always carries a metal flask attached to his waist.

Personality: Sam is calm and collected, if a bit harsh at times. He's not one to joke around and likes to do everything by the book. A simple description of him would be someone blessed with talent, having control of his ability since a young age he was always good in physical and magical training, thus earning him praise from his family and friends. Unfortunately Sam never takes the praise seriously as he himself doesn't think he's good enough, which is part of the reason why he wanted to attend the academy. Sam is however, protective of his little brother Leo who he always helps out and tries to make him strive harder.

Abilities: Sam can control gravity completely, through this he is able to make things float or smash them against the floor, he can also increase or decrease the force of objects or people as well as adding pressure. Thanks to his control of gravity he can also cut surfaces or smash them, giving him a lot of versatility.

Weaknesses: While he is able to make things float his gravity can be countered with magnetism and they can also be pulled back. Using his ability also takes a lot of strain on him and he needs to be focused when using it or else he could lose control of it, his strikes are also easy to dodge as they are pretty straightforward.

Weapon: Sam's flask contains special acid that can melt anything that it touches, through this he can control the acid and change its shape as well as use it in different forms, he is able to recreate the same amount of acid through a spell he devised but it takes him a week to prepare and gather the ingredients.

Skill: Sam is very handy and can use his ability in different ways, he's also strong and fast due to all the time he has spent with the weights, something that also increased his physical endurance. He's calculating and calm as well as having a good sense of leadership.


Name: Leonardo (Leo) Strike

Age: 15

Appearance: Leo has straight long coloured brown hair which reaches down to his neck. He, like his brother, has brown coloured eyes, though unlike his brothers they are more of a clear brown. Leo has tanned coloured skin and a thin built. He wears a black coloured long sleeved shirt along with a white shirt over it, the white shirt in turn has short sleeves. He also wears a pair of black coloured jeans that hug his legs along with a pair of sneakers. He carries a wooden staff on strapped to his back.

Personality: Leo is shy and doesn't have a lot of confidence in himself or his abilities. Unlike his brother he is more of a follower and tends to always stand by his side in case he needs help. He is a bit jealous of his brother's talent and about how everyone treats him and feels like he'll never be able to achieve the same things he has. While he knows a few spells of his own he's not able to perform as well as his brother though, but he always tries his hardest to support him, thinking that if he can at least help him get far in the world then he'll have no regrets.

History: to be exposed in the RP.

Abilities: Leo has an affinity towards the elements of wind and electricity, he can control them basically but usually relies on spells so as to harness their power more.

Advantages: Leo can control and shift the wind of the area around him without using spells, he is also able to fire shocks of electricity.

Weaknesses: Leo's basic control is very weak and as thus he needs to rely on his spells which he needs to chant, he is also only good with a few attack spells which are still at a pretty basic level, because of this he is unable to stand in front of a battlefield as it would make him an easy target, thus making him a support fighter.

Weapon: He can use his staff along with wind magic to levitate himself off the ground and fly or he can incorporate electricity around the staff and use it as a weapon in battle, the staff itself is made of magical wood which is much harder than normal wood so it isn't as easy to break.

Skill: he's a hardworker and he has a group mentality, always thinking about how his actions would benefit others rather than himself, he is clever but it's countered due to his laziness

Name: Sayuri Koneko
Gender: Female
Age: 16
Sexuality: Unsure yet, since she's too shy to explore it

Personality: Sayuri is the epitome of a shrinking violet. She utterly hates attention, and will go to all ends to stay to herself, which she finds necessary with so many traits causing her to stand out. For one, her strict intellectual upbringing grants her a higher than normal intelligence all around. She expresses subtle pride in her intellect, and is ignorant to why people are so enthralled by high intellect. She is extremely timid, due to limited contact with others her whole life, almost never talks unless beckoned by one of high authority. Her extreme shyness also makes her easily embarrassed, and often leads to spontaneous crying fits. She has no understanding of what friends are supposed to be. She always shudders when she's nervous, which always happens when she's around people she doesn't know. She isn't bold in the slightest, but she is very proud of herself and won't let others talk down to her. It's hard to get her angry, but when she's angry, she gets very pragmatic. She loves studying, reading, and playing her magic instruments. She also loves cats, and has made it her motif. On rare occasions, she can be seen practicing her archery.

Appearance: Sayuri is rather short at 4'6", which, combined with her lean frame, makes her look like she's only around 12. She has shoulder-length brown hair and matching eyes, and her skin is pale, suggesting she's never gotten a tan. She tends to wear shirts with sleeves that are longer than her arms, along with skirts, tights, and flats. Her outfit colors are restricted to soft pastel baby pinks, yellows, greens, and blues. She always wears a brown cat-eared headband, and has a quiver strung across her shoulders. Her bow is attached to the quiver.

History: Sayuri was raised in a sheltered environment, hardly having any contact with the outside world. Within her sheltered environment, she was taught at a higher level than most, yet was able to endure her educational training after a while. When she was three, she was introduced to music in the form of piano music. She noticed that when someone played the piano, the songs had strange effects. After listening to the songs for awhile, she learned to play them by watching the player's hands. For years, she tried to learn the songs, but couldn't produce the same strange effects that the others did. She eventually discovered from her mother that the songs required magic power to work, and she hadn't developed it yet. She immediately expressed an interest in developing her magic powers, eager to be like her parents. She was immediately introduced to meditation, which she would need to hone her mind to the levels needed for magic. It took until she was 12 to be able to finally use magic. Once she had a full understanding of the the focus and power needed to use magic, she tried playing songs again. Her first successful attempt was a song which, according to her mother, could heal those who heard it, given time. She played one full iteration, and after a while, she began to notice that the plants in the house looked better, and their pet cat Yoko seemed happier. The one thing she couldn't place was how she had gotten so tired. The strain of the magic became apparent when she ended up sleeping for nearly 16 hours. Knowing of the repercussions now, she continued practicing in moderation. Her next successful song was one which could summon rain. This song was much shorter, so she was able to play it longer. She soon found out that the amount of time the song is played determines the intensity and duration of the effect. In this case, it ended up raining for 12 hours and causing a flash flood. This time, the strain caused her to sleep for just under 24 hours, and she was still sluggish after that. She made careful notes of this, and always skipped a few days between songs. As she practiced, she slowly increased her power, and she became more accustomed to the strain of her magic. After learning the different music spells, she wanted to employ her magic in new ways. This led to her father teaching her archery, which she initially struggled in. At first, she couldn't even fire the arrow correctly. It took months for her to be able to fire an arrow correctly, though her accuracy was horrendous. It took until she was 15 before she could hit a bulls-eye with good accuracy from far distances. With effective practice, and the use of her better left eye alone to aim, she was eventually able to hit targets a hundred yards away. Once she was able to use her bow effectively, she was taught special incantations to imbue her arrows with different elements. Learning the incantations came easy, since they were in her native tongue, Japanese. The hard part was actually successfully casting the magic. To this day, she still has trouble using magic with her arrows.

Abilities: Playing magic songs on her piano or ocarina to produce different effects, imbuing her arrows with different elements with the correct phrase(eg. 'Hono' for fire, 'Kori', 'Inazuma' for lightning, 'Hikari' for light)
- Advantages: (Music spells): Depending on how long the song is, how many iterations she plays, and how hard she focuses, she can alter the intensity and duration of the songs' effects, potentially making them extremely powerful. Effects range from healing to changing weather to instilling different moods in listeners. (Arrow magic): potentially increases the power of her arrows, and makes them harder to stop.
- Disadvantages: (Music spells): there is always a delay to the effects, which is decreased when the song is played longer. The more power is put into the song, the more fatigued she gets, and the longer she sleeps. (Arrow magic): The spells have a tendency to backfire on her, significantly harming her. If the spell doesn't backfire, the arrow's accuracy and distance suffer.

Weapon: Golden bow
Skills: Attaining high marks, skills playing piano and ocarina, crocheting, archery. When she is alone, she has a better mental state and can do more. Her intelligence allows her to figure out answers to problems easily, as well as retain her high marks.

Name: Akako Katomiya (Better known as Ashley)
Gender: Female
Age: 17
Sexuality: Lesbian

Personality: Akako is a very headstrong and volatile person, unapproachable under most circumstances. She is extremely impatient, has a short temper, and dislikes others giving her orders, especially those around her age. Because of these traits, she is know by many to be a heathen. In actuality, she isn't as bad as other's seem to think. She always minds her own business, and under normal circumstances, starts a conflict. However, when things around her drain her patience, such as stupidity or foolishness, or just noise, her brain-to-mouth filter crashes, leading to her saying the first thing that comes to mind. More often than not, this is not to be taken as compliment. Once her patience is gone, she is prone to violent acts. As a result, she keeps a pair of headphones on in public situations and plays music to tune out her surroundings and focus. When she focuses, she can get a lot done, such as maintaining high marks and keeping up with her magic and martial arts. There is another side to her that few people witness. She has a hidden respect for skill and power, and she will never argue with someone she recognizes as having both. She also loves anything cute, and has a tendency to be protective of those she deems cute. If she deems someone as 'cute', it is either due to appearance or whether or not the person apparently needs protected. Even when she protects someone, she maintains a tough facade, often belittling the protectee although she doesn't mean it.

Appearance: Akako's most defining feature is her height, which, at 5'11", is rather intimidating to most. Her lean figure only serves to make her look taller. She has bright red hair that she wears somewhat short, and bright orange eyes that seem to glow in the dark. No one ever sees her eyes due to her special sunglasses, which she only ever takes off when she wants someone to look in her to see the truth. Her outfits generally consist of shirts and shorts, though she may wear a skirt on some days. She always wears a piece of thick leather over her right shoulder, for reasons she won't explain.

History: To be explained in RP.

Abilities: By taking off her shades, she can expose her eyes with various effects. When special magic stones and an incantation, she can manipulate the stone's magical power.
- Advantages: (Eyes): When her eyes are exposed, she can see the truth, and extend it to those around her. Conversely, others can see the truth about her by looking into her eyes, but she can control what others see about her. (Stone): With Japanese incantations, she can manipulate the power of a magical stone that she's holding to a small degree. She owns stones of fire, water, earth, wind, light, darkness, and electricity. While she's charging, a weak energy field appears that might prevent her from losing focus when attacked.
- Disadvantages: (Eyes): Due to what happened to her eyes in the accident, she almost immediately develops a severe migraine the moment she removes her sunglasses. She has migraine medication, but it makes her sleepy. In addition, she is temporarily blinded by the change in light. (Stones): It takes at least 5 seconds of charging for the weakest
spells to be ready, and higher level spells are even slower. When she's charging, she can't move at all, thus making her wide open to attack.
Weapon: Aluminum baseball bat
Skills: She is extremely fast and athletic, well-trained in martial arts. She knows how to cook, and is a skilled singer and dancer.

Name: Harlin Canton
Gender: Male
Age: 17
Sexuality: Heterosexual

Personality: Harlin is a bit of a cynical asshole, although less so toward his friends he still is. Harlin is a bit of an egotist and a huge flirt. Although he is a douche once people get to know him he becomes fun to be around, especially since he's been known to throw wild parties (which usually include substances illegal for those of his age to acquire. Harlin tends to get away with more then other students since he's been labeled as a lost cause in terms of his personality, frankly, the only reason he is still enrolled in the academy is his studies which he excels in. Harlin loves to joke around and party which makes it hard for him to be serious in certain situations.

Appearance: Harlin is about 6'2 with silver hair cut short and the front spiked into a point. Over his ice blue eyes he usually wears black ray band sunglasses that sit delicately on his sharp nose, the bridge of which angles sharply down due to an old broken nose. Harlin is of medium build with defined muscles and a square face with sharp features

History: Harlin was born to wealthy family, part of the elite of the city (which is how he got a good education). Since he could talk and think rationally Harlin has been the black sheep of the family. Harlin always opposed his family's rules and wishes. It wasn't because he didn't like them or didn't like being fancy it was just that he wanted to do all the fun things, unfortunately for his family all the fun things he did were considered "wrong" by his family. Harlin soon became estranged by his family who sent him to live with his aunt Marian and Uncle Pete at the age of 13 who were the more relaxed and fun side of the family since Pete was also a black sheep in the family. Pete and Marian, who were ousted by their respective families for wanting to be magic users, soon taught Harlin to use simple magic. At around 15 Harlin decided to get a small tattoo, he then tested imbuing it with magic to make it animated but when he got the tattoo it didn't just animate but Harlin found he could change it's shape and even make it jump off his skin and form objects, soon he started covering his body with the tattoos and got a letter from the academy, urged by his aunt and uncle, he went to the school and continued getting tattoos. Now everything except his head and face are covered in various tattoos that change form.

Abilities: Harlin is covered in tattoos made of "magic ink." This makes him able to change the shape of his tattoos and use them to form weapons and other objects.
- Advantages: He can create simple objects, some with simple moving parts even. The ink can also be used to make 3 foot tall figures to fight.
- Disadvantages: Harlin can only use as much ink is on his body at the time. The 3 foot tall figures are not great fighters, they are more like fodder

Weapon: none, he just uses his tattoos to make them.
Skills: Harlin is trained in both martial arts and swordplay except these alone don't usually help against magic users.
