The basic overview of the Urban Rivals world draws roots from its three basic principles; Salvation, Neutrality, and Destruction. All living things follow a certain principle when in conjunction to their own basic makeup. Every living thing, magically gifted or otherwise, has one of these as their basic form of power and basic cellular constitution.
Salvation: Those of the Salvation lateral are ones who are specialists of passive techniques. These passive techniques include all inward, non-contact techniques that allow for the user to utilize. These colloquially encompass techniques that require focus to be performed, which require little to no physical contact by the user to perform. These are often those that specialize in mage-like magic abilities, such as the ability to summon fire or the ability to use telekinesis. They, however, are Destruction-impaired and are unable to access moves that directly increase their physical performance. They must work from their own arsenal to try and compensate.
Neutrality: Those of the Neutrality lateral are ones who are capable of using both Salvation and Destruction qualities on much more balanced levels, naturally. They are capable of both Physical and meta-physical combat that allow them to have a slight aptitude in any type of combat. However, those with these powers require training that is nearly three times as much as someone who is naturally gifted with either one of the Salvation or Destruction qualities. However, it is unlikely that anyone of the Neutrality lateral will be capable of gaining the same kind of aptitude that someone who is naturally gifted will have without any special circumstances.
Destruction: Those of the Destruction lateral are ones who are more physically-inclined. They rely on physical strength that they channel outside of the body, augmented with many different types of magics. These usually require focus only when they are extremely powerful techniques utilized by the bearer. Those with this power are colloquially associated with different types of strengthening techniques; such as augmenting a punch's power to the same extent of a meteor's power or increasing their speed to match that of a bullets. They are unable to access mental techniques, and must work from their arsenal to compensate.
In the world of Urban Rivals, all humans who are capable of actively using one of the three principles are called Salvationists, Neutralists, and Destructionists. These people are able to use the energies of their bodies to bend the shape of natural human limitation, which gains them the label of "magic-users". They draw power from an unknown force in the world, which is still being researched. However, there are many creatures and otherworldly beings that can have this exact same makeup, if not both.
Your character will be one of those who are capable of actively using one of the three principles. You will be capable of choosing one of the three laterals as your base. Once in, your character will be capable of meeting up and working with the others. All of the characters live side-by-side in the same neighborhood, with parental figures or otherwise. Hence the name, Urban Rivals. The RP will focus on many types of situations and jobs that can be undertaken by your character via a bulletin network on computers and televisions. The setting of this neighborhood is in the city of Anarkia.
No godmodding. This includes allowing your character to be great at both laterals or giving them powerful techniques, with absolutely no drawback whatsoever. This also refers to the solving of problems with ease, despite any horrible disadvantages.
Nothing above PG-13. I'll definitely allow romance, but only to first base. Second base is very debatable. Ask if it is allowed before attempting it.
Respect your fellow players. Debates are fine. Outright inflammatory remarks and such are not allowed. Basic BMGf rules still apply, here.
This can be lighthearted, but not to the point of randomness. Serious situations are numerous in this.
No need to rush. Seriously, we're here to have fun. There's absolutely no need for you to rush a fight or scene. The best fights are those with very moderate lengths; not too short, but not too lengthy. Time skips will happen if something is not capable of being done.

History: If you wish to introduce your character's history within the RP's span, this is fine as well. Simply state that this is to be revealed throughout the RP.
Lateral: What lateral does your character follow? The character is only able to have one of them.
No ability that can control time, space, or antimatter.
No abilities to raise the dead, resurrect, or perform any feat of necromancy.
No ability to alter reality.
No ability that allows you to copy other's Laterals.
No ability that allows you to transcend your own lateral.
Your lateral is not allowed to be the same as another's in the RP.
Your lateral is incapable of allowing you to obtain the power of any god or have omniscence of any type unless you explain it to the GM.
You cannot create bacon, for bacon is much too powerful and legit to create.
Nero has the ability of total pyrokinesis. That being, he is capable of controlling fire to near limitless amounts. However, the power and size of the attacks he does drains more energy the larger they are.
Nothing too complicated, and free-form enough to be cool.

Tailisu can materialize any drawings into real life which he mantain mentally. How long the drawings can be mantained depends on their complexity and the number stuff he materializes. Simple stuff like shirts and chairs are easily mantained. but technology such as a working computer and phone are harder. The hardest thing for him to mantain are life forms. Food is also impratical to make cause he needs to mantain it throughout the whole digestion which tires him and thus he only makes food strictly for enjoyment and not for nutrients. When Tailisu stops mantaining something it simply disappears and turns back into a drawing. He might develop small telekinesis which allows him to control his drawings to an extent.

Lateral: Ella can transform any part of her body into weapon, whether its her hair or a body part she is able to turn them. There are some rules though, she's not able to turn her eyes or anything around her face into weapons. Of course her transformation ability doesn't just apply to weapons, she can also change her features.

By the way, would a dude who's power lets him eat machines through a huge mouth on his torso and then integrates them into his body or shoots them out be Destruction or Salvation? I don't want to choose Neutral unless I have to, because it seems to me like a lot of people will choose that one.
The eating machines to augment your physical body. Thaaat would be Destruction. Salvation would be eating machines to gain knowledge of their functions or use them to power electricity (that you conjure with the mind).

Personality: Nero is a very mysterious figure. Never speaking unless spoken to, Nero tends to keep all thing under wraps; showing emotion only through the eyes. Though evidently very cold, Nero is always extremely caring when around those who could be considered weak. With tracker instincts and reflexes, Nero is something akin to a ninja. However, there is no evidence of any ability to augment the body, as all acrobatic ability was trained from a very young age.
Appearance: Nero usually wears clothing that does not expose much. Due to only speaking in a series of small sounds, Nero's true voice is not very heard of. However, when around those whom are trusted, Nero will speak. Silvery-blonde hair goes down to the base of the neck, with piercing emerald green eyes. Nero does not wear a scowl, but rather preferring to stay a bit emotionless when in front of others. While of slightly average height, being around 5'6", Nero is capable of powerful combat.
History: History shall be revealed during Roleplay.
Auria is a very calm, collected woman. While being rather immune to surprise, she also boasts a cohesive knowledge in all things dealing with the Laterals. Very sardonic in her wit, she can be blunt and unkind with her words; no matter their good intent. She is never afraid to warn anyone of the consequences of their actions, and can be often found as a bearer of bad news. While patient, she does have a short fuse when it comes to insulting those she cares about. She shows a deep interest in the well-beings of all of those around her.
Auria is a woman of sandy blonde hair, normally put into a long ponytail. When untied, her locks cascade down to her waist. She is normally seen in her white scientist jacket, along with a sleeveless top and black skirt underneath. She wears black flats. Around her neck are the necklaces that store all of her power.
Within the RP, Auria's past will be revealed slowly. Soon, things will fall into place for this mysterious character. However, know that she has a very large interest in all of those who can actively utilize their laterals.
She is the head professor in charge of the CORE, or the Command of Operations and Rights Enforcement; who deal with the legalization and rulings of urban lateral use and maintain the balance between regular citizens and gifted active users. She will be in the neighborhood as well, but will usually only visit.
