Thread: The Twilight Prince (Sign up)

Author's note: Just to be clear, it has nothing to do with Twilight the series or any other Twilight, if anything it's more named after The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess only different and no Zelda universe.


One morning you are starting to wake up, your clock ringing so you slowly rise to your feet. Groaning you start heading towards the bathroom however you stub your toe and curse before realizing something. The room is dark, and your clock isn't set to go off until 8am. Looking out your window the night is still here, the moon and the stars can be seen. You look at your clock which says 8am.

Confused before your phone starts ringing, it's your best friend since you were little babies. She says the sun has not come up at all and it is 8am. Where is the sun? You feel panic and your Pokemon sense something bad is horizon, you think it could be connected to the news about an Pokemon thief. But the question is, who has stolen the sun?

Okay here's the story. You wake up after a night sleep and find out the sun is not here and has not come up at all. You're scared and starts trying to figure out what's wrong with a group of other people in the city of Hearthome, you know these people.

There is a bad guy named The Twilight Prince, your characters do not know this but a band of heroes have already tried stopping him but did not succeed, he has stolen strong Pokemon and controlled them, you could be next. His plans are to take over the world and make it his own Twilight Realm, controlling all Pokemon and making everyone his slaves.

There is an legend however to bring back day which you decide to do first as the entire world goes into panic mode. The legend is that Lunatone has the power, after an spell is chanted to stop the sun from ever rising and Solrock can reverse it to stop the night from coming. The legend also explains if you bring an Lunatone and a Solrock together and chant a spell it will bring back the sun.

However for some reason Solrock and Lunatone have become very rare and hard to find, the Hoenn Gym leaders in Mossdeep have gone missing along with their own Lunatone and Solrock.

Once finding them (And finding the information about the legend first in the Hearthome library) you must bring the sun back, gather your friends and Pokemon and head to the Sinnoh Pokemon League where the Twilight Prince awaits.

History: Amber was born in Hearthome City to her parents and had gone to school until she was eighteen. However she had gotten her starter Torchic from her father after his trip in Hoenn and trained with her and the other Pokemon everyday. Reaching eighteen and graduating from school she left for a Pokemon journey through Sinnoh getting stronger with every win and defeat.

She got into the Pokemon League at 19 and became 2nd in the Pokemon League, an trainer who used a Latios against her won the entire league.

At the end of the year she had met a wonderful man and slept with him thinking they would have an relationship, however he disappeared leaving Amber alone, soon she finds out she had gotten pregnant, at first she is scared to tell her parents but they assure her they will help.

So she had her daughter Lenore at twenty and raised her well, after her parents moved to Isshu so her father could study new Pokemon, and sending his grandaughter an Gen V Pokemon so she could train it, it was just those two but they had the closest relationship.

Appearance: Amber is about 5'6 tall, average weight but a tad skinny, she has light skin and ocean blue eyes, she will just wear a white shirt, blue jeans and a black leather jacket over her shirt.

Personality: Amber is one of the kind and generous people who is always giving back to her home town Hearthome, although because of it her loyalty can be taken advantage of. She is a very strong Pokemon trainer however and can be considered an Elite Trainer, she is determined and fierce in battle.

History: Lenore was also born in Hearthome of course but never met her father, although she would like to one day having her mother and her Pokemon is all she needs. She loved Pokemon ever since she was a baby and Amber's Pokemon would always play with her.

Even thought Lenore is only just 13 she is a smart young girl who knows what she is doing in a battle. She received her starter Torchic at ten after Blaziken bred with another Blaziken. She also caught Pidgey at ten who evolved when she was twelve. She decided to go on a Pokemon journey after she graduates High School and to follow her mother's footsteps but this time to win the entire Pokemon League.

She has dated a guy once when she was twelve however he cheated on her and dumped her for another girl so she decided to just forgot dating for a while.

Before dating him she had been kissed by a girl, an close friend of hers who moved away later on with her parents. She did like it but is pretty sure she is straight.

Appearance: Lenore has dark long brown hair with dark blue eyes much like Amber, her skin is a light colour and she is 5 foot tall, she normally wears blue jeans and just basic colour shirts, she doesn't really care much for fashion.

Personality: Lenore is upbeat and has a good heart like her mother, although she doesn't like being taken advantage of and can be a little less trusting of people, but she is smart and kind trying to help people. She inspires to be a good Pokemon trainer much like her mother but first wants to study.

History: Lucas was born in Petalburg city, Hoenn. Either by means of genetics or simply coincidential, he has always been a clumsy boy. He had the tendency to get distracted easily, dropping things and running into walls or other objects. Many of his peers disliked him as a result, and would even tease him for it. This has caused Lucas to become very withdrawn, and he has developed poor social skills.

At nine years old, he was promised to receive his first pokemon to compete in the league on his tenth birthday. He always enjoyed pokemon, and was addicted to watching battles takeing place on television. A certain pokemon he saw, called Spinda, particularly interested him, as it reminded him a little of himself.

Much to Lucas' surprise, on his tenth birthday, his parents gave him Spinda as his starting pokemon. The two seemed to compliment each other so well that they became quick friends on the first day. Thus he started to head away from his home to begin his career as a Pokemon Trainer.

Since then, Lucas' trek has been surprisingly slow. Because his shy personality would discourage himself from challenging gyms, he has only won a single badge thus far. Despite this, Lucas would still train in the wild and against other trainers to build up his skills and his party, but at the opportunity to challenge a good opponent he becomes fearful.

Appearance: Lucas is roughly 5'8", of medium build. Despite his age, he looks very young, with a face clear of almost any blemishes and light freckles that wrap along his cheek bone. His hair is a black bowl-cut which shines smoothly in sunlight. He wears a blue hoodie and loose jean-pants.

Personality: Lucas is down-to-earth and patient, though he is almost perpetually confused. He is very shy around other people and doesn't hold many conversations he starts. Such constant nervousness often makes him lose focus, and as a result he commits many clumsy, air-headed acts.

Name: Kai Adams

History:

Kai was born in Blackthorn City, Johto, to strangely, not one, but three families. Of course, only one family was his true blood relatives, but the other two families considered themselves part of the Adams. The story behind that was forty years ago, several best friends went on a Pokemon journey. Their bonds were strong, much stronger than your commonday traveling companions. Some of them married, while the rest of them held a pact: they would now all be family. The first family, the Ymir family, consisted of Trish and Daniel Ymir, and their two children: Matthew and Marcia. The second family was made of Ulrich and Isabella King, who had one child: Oliver. The third family was made of Lori and Zack Adams, with their two children: Kai and Anna.

Ever since Kai could remember, the three families lived in a large house in Blackthorn City. None of the children questioned it, but rather, saw the other children as more siblings. At age ten, like most trainers, they started on their own respective Pokemon journies, but unlike their parents, they didn't go together. Matthew went to travel Kanto, Marcia stayed in Johto, Oliver went to Hoenn, Anna went to Sinnoh, and the youngest of the five, Kai, went to Unova.

For his starter, Kai received a Snivy, and went off to fight the eight gym leaders, and later, made it to the Pokemon league. However, he lost in the top 16 to an older trainer named Shaga, later to be one of the two eighth gym leaders of Unova.

After his loss, Kai returned to Blackthorn City to finish school. After graduating from an academy in Blackthorn, he left all of his Pokemon behind except for Jalorda, and left on his nineteenth birthday to travel with his sister to Kanto.

However, this traveling journey took a turn for the worst. After a run-in with an earlier version of Team Rocket in Rock Tunnel, the mafia gang used multiple Koffing and Voltorb to use Selfdestruct, which caused a massive cave in. Kai escaped, while his sister was killed by the falling debris.

With only three badges, Kai ended his Pokemon journey, returning to Blackthorn City for another seven years. At age 25, he decided to travel solitarily around Johto, Hoenn, and Sinnoh, not collecting badges, but just collecting Pokemon, deciding that he'd rather just be an explorer rather than a competitive trainer. He'd still fight passerby trainers, but he passed all gyms.

At the beginning of the current year, Kai traveled once more to the Unova region, and re-took the gym challenge there, quickly accumulating eight gym badges. After his reunion with Shaga, the two left together for the Pokemon league, leaving Iris to tend to the gym. However, thsi happened to be the time that Team Plasms attacked the Pokemon league. Kai helped fend them off, but noticed that two children, Black and White, had just beaten Team Plasma, caught both Reshiram and Zekrom, and just saved the world. He mentally cursed that he didn't get to help more than he did, thinking he was more of a bystander, which was true in some ways.

Currently, Kai is about to leave Unova, unsure of where to go next.

Appearance: Kai stands at around 5'10, with a slightly muscular build. His red hair is always messy, usually hiding is blue eyes. He wears a purple sleeveless shirt, black jeans, blue fingerless gloves, and white tennis shoes.

Personality: Kai is mostly a serious guy, usually showing a stoic demeanor when you first see him. However, as you get to know him, Kai becomes outgoing, albeit being sarcastic and teasing. He's not the social type, so he won't initiate conversations, and believes in an "action is stronger than words" policy, most of the time.

History: Hinjo began life normally, until, on his tenth birthday, the pokemon his father had caught for him (A Solrock) was stolen, mere minutes before he was dues to set off on his journey. He and the Solrock grew together for 2 years, so Hinjo decided to find him.
Now he searches all regions for the Pokemon, and only trains himself and his pokemon to get stronger, and be able to complete his search. He has no badges or ribbons, stopping only in towns and cities for information, food and a bed.

Appearance: Hinjo is 6ft, of medium build, with an albino complexion. He chooses to wear dark colours, to not draw attention.

Personality: He has a cold and unfriendly personality, as his main goal is to find his lost friend. He deeply distrusts the authorities, as they did nothing about his partner's theft.

Pokemon: Lucario, Dodrio (for quick travelling), Wartortle (for water-based movement)

Other: He's allergic to Shinx fur, due to the static nature.

Jordan grew up in between Hearthome City and Jubilife City, where he spent a relatively equal amount of time living with his mother and father, as they were separated by divorce. This made Jordan’s social life broken and difficult, but it never proved to be a problem to Jordan himself. He didn’t mind that most of his time was spent with his parents and/or stepparents, and he found his childhood perfectly fulfilling without much interaction with other children his age. This did leave Jordan with plenty of time to focus on his school work, and he didn’t have much trouble learning what was taught to him.

Jordan’s intelligence has yet to reflect upon his future, however. After graduating from high school, Jordan attended a small community college in Jubilife City for a simple two-year degree. This had little more meaning than the sake of achievement when Jordan moved to Snowpoint City to work as a garbage collector. It was Jordan’s strong nationalism towards his home region that is responsible for his decision, because he felt a simple labor job like the one he had chosen would be best for him to contribute to the Sinnoh region. Jordan was smart enough to realize he couldn’t keep this up, and this realization is what brought him back to Hearthome City. Jordan sought to acquire a four-year degree with a major in criminology while living at his father’s house to satisfy his lack of money.

Jordan constantly wears the same clothing: plain white t-shirt, blue jeans, a pair of black boots and a dark grey jacket. His camouflage baseball hat is slightly less constant, but is usually included, paired with blue-tinted sunglasses. He’s five feet and ten inches in height, weighs roughly 175 LBS, has pale, white skin and blue eyes.

Personality
Jordan is highly tolerant, and is usually concerned with the opinions of others more than his own. He enjoys trying to be considerate towards others, and is usually willing to go out of his way to be helpful or otherwise friendly. Regardless of how much Jordan agrees with someone, he may ridicule them for the sake of his sarcastic and trollish sense of humor. This humor usually presents itself in a more casual environment, however; Jordan is plenty capable of maintaining a respectful demeanor whenever he feels it is called for. Jordan is usually described as blunt, being something of a pessimist despite rarely being saddened or bothered by unfortunate or unfavorable circumstances. Jordan tends to consciously and intentionally ignore anything unpleasant and instead keep up either a neutral or pleasant demeanor.

Pokemon
Jordan possesses only three Pokemon, the strongest being a Gardevoir and Gallade named Seraph and Ranger respectively. Before obtaining a single Pokemon, Jordan decided that his favorites were psychic types based on what he had seen from battles and such. Saving money from allowance and small jobs, usually issued by his parents, Jordan purchased the egg of a female Ralts which he raised to a Gardevoir. Later, upon discovering the physical counterpart of a Gardevoir, Gallade, Jordan raised money through a few odd jobs in his teenage years to buy a dawn stone. Once the stone was in his hands, Jordan caught his second Ralts, a male he quickly evolved into a Gallade.

Jordan's final and most recent Pokemon, obtained when he was 23, is a Snivy he named Smugleaf. Jordan found this Pokemon when a foreign trainer was offering several unusual Pokemon for those found in the Sinnoh region. Jordan caught, then gladly traded away, a Buneary in favor of Smugleaf. Though Jordan didn't plan to have any more Pokemon besides Seraph and Ranger, Smugleaf stuck out to Jordan four its humorous appearance and ability to learn a handful of psychic moves, including Mirror Coat. TL;DR, lol trolls.

History
Matt was born in Pyrite Town to a single mother, who was obviously not ready to have him, as he was quickly abandoned at an orphanage. Fortunately, or perhaps unfortunately, this happened to be the norm and he had several playmates growing up. The would be let loose upon the town everyday to commit whatever acts of mischief they could manage before the night curfew bell rang. Their little gang of misfit orphans continued their little adventures for what seemed like forever, until it all began to fall apart.

Needless to say, Pyrite Town wasn’t the safest place for children: thugs, dealers, addicts, every kind of filth of humanity, all topped with the town being built on a series of abandoned mine shafts, it’s a miracle nothing happened to any of them before. Billy was the first to go, he tried to steal from the wrong person and wound up in an alley, mangled and lifeless. He was one of the luckier ones: at least they found his corpse. As their numbers slowly dwindled, Matt came to the realization that he wasn’t going to last long if he remained in that orphanage, so at the age of 14, he packed up his bags and ran away.

Crossing the desert was the hardest experience of his life, between the blaring hot sun, the slicing sandy winds, and the rare occasion of running from a very hungry wild Pokémon taxed him greatly. It also made him strong. When he arrived at Gateon Port, he was changed, hardened. He had faced the harshest elements of the world and survived, and nothing could take that away from him. He wandered into the downtown of the port and pick-pocketed his way to a life.

Matt lived like this for several years, until he was about 17. Then the opportunity of a lifetime came walking down the street towards him. A wealthy man and a minor security detail, but that wasn’t the rare thing. What caught his attention was the Pokémon egg was carefully cradled in the man’s cubby arms. An unhatched Pokémon itself would fetch a hefty price itself, but a man of such stature no doubt had some rare species imported from a far away region. It was too good to pass up. In a split second Matt jumped down from his perch, landing on top of one of the guards and sending him to the ground. With a quick tackle, he knocked the egg free of the man’s grip, and then bolted off into an alley, stolen egg in hand. The other guard tried to follow, but his knowledge of the maze of interconnecting alleys in streets was not enough to keep up with the thief.

As Matt sat on a rooftop, overlooking the moonlight bay, he chuckled lightly to himself over a job well done. Just as he was planning out how he would spend the sizable price this haul would fetch, when something terrible happened: the egg began to crack. He watched in horror as his prize diminished in value with each passing second, until finally an Eevee popped out. It was now completely worthless. Eevee bonded too well with whoever hatched them, so no one would be stupid enough to buy a used one. He sighed to himself and then looked up. He could make this work. He could become a Pokémon Trainer with this. They made enough money to keep him comfortable. All he needed to do was fix the weakling now nuzzling into his lap. He broke into the local PokéMart and stole a Fire Stone and some basic supplies, and then stowed away on the first ship out of port, effectively starting his new life.

Appearance
Matt is average height, standing just under 6”. His skin is still lightly tanned from his years in the desert, and his sun-bleached blond hair is kept short and spiked. He wears a pair of black Go-Goggles on his forehead to pull down over his emerald green eyes in case the elements get too severe.
He typically wears an orange shirt that comes to his elbows, and dark green pants. His belt has notches to hold six pokéballs, and a pokégear. He carries a black satchel that he uses to hold his various supplies.

Personality
Matt is self-centered, and is determined that the only one he can depend on in life is himself. He is unforgiving of his own failures, and those of his Pokémon. He is not above using people for his own devices, and has a nasty manipulative streak. He is also morally ambiguous, and has no problem with theft and other minor crimes.

Name: Beatrice Durante Celestecuerpo Valquez de la Cruz Di' Alagheriis AKA Dante Celestecuerpo

Age: 19

History: Dante was born into the Celestecuerpo family, a clan of blue bloods stationed in Canaclave City, on October 31st, 1991. They have obtained all this money from their various companies centered on world, continental, and regional trade, such as ship yards, livestock trucks, and the like. Dante grew up a stereotypical spoiled brat up to the age of six, where something changed her life.

She was watching a horse race in action, and the Ponyta the family betted on crashed. This shocked Dante, as she was sheltered from such action and something in her just died a bit when she saw the scene, her helpless to assist. But amazingly, the Ponyta got back up and finished the race by walking. While the horse they betted on arrived at the line dead last, Dante came out of the race a changed girl. She saw that determination will get you through to the end.

Years past from that day, and she decided to take up sports. During so, she found out that she actually liked women as much as boys when she actually liked the butt slaps, even if she knew they were out on celebratory terms. She eventually grew bored of sports, but later found interest in the martial arts after the family decided it was time for her to learn self-defense to prevent kidnapping attempts. As of age 18, she had learned kickboxing, muey thay, boxing, karate, and street fighting, though she wasn’t an expert at all in those areas. Well, except the latter.

To get her the thrill she wanted and because of the confidence surge she got from all those lessons, she went “underground” and decided to fight for the glory, as she had enough money. She laid waste to as many fighters as she was defeated, making her wise to the world of street fighting. Eventually, she managed to get the attention of the two-time reigning champion of the Canaclave Underworld Fighting Circuit, and a match was scheduled. It was one of the more one-sided matches in Dante’s entire career. She had never been so pummeled in her entire life. When she had some room to breathe, she crawled to her side of the ring and grabbed her towel so she can throw it, but something stopped her. It was the memory of the horse race when she was six. She gripped her towel and she threw it right at the champ’s face.

Ultimately, Dante managed to beat the champ, though withstood many wounds and had to be sent to the hospital. She suffered a mild concussion, broken and cracked ribs, a dislocated jaw, a broken nose, snapped right ulna and radium, split lips, a shattered knee, a cracked left femur and right tibia and fibula, a dislocated right wrist, severe bruising all over her body, and a very nasty black eye. Needless to say, her family was shocked that her wounds were that severe, and her mother wasn’t happy. It took Dante months to heal from the severity of her wounds, and during those months, she decided to get a lot of tattooes, something that shocked her mother. She was recovering, and yet she's putting herself through more pain!

She woke up at 8 like she usually does to start physical therapy only to learn it's still dark out. Confused, the heiress searched on the internet and found that it wasn't an eclipse, as the world went pitch-black with night. Knowing that this was no ordinary event, she grabbed her Pokemon Team and headed out, aiming to find the cause of this.

Appearance:

(Physical): Dante boasts tanned skin, shiny and deep colored silver hair that reaches to her mid back, icy blue eyes, and a heart-shaped face. She stands in at 5'6", weights in at 113 lbs., the muscles of a experienced fighter, a CC-Cup bust, and a medium build. On an unrelated note, her ears are slightly pointed.

(Clothing): Dante wears black jeans, silver Nikes, a long sleeved black leather shirt with upturn collars, a red button-up vest, green eye-shadow, violet nail polished finger and toenail, red rectangular glasses, black hand-guards gloves (as to hide the tattooes on her hands) and a long red two tailed trench coat with a green tiger stencil on the left sleeve. On the back of her coat is the family insignia: a halberd with a broadsword surrounding a red and black shield topped with a helmet with two feather topping it, one red and the other black. The upper right of the shield has a book and the lower left has a Maltese cross on it. She alse has earring in the shape of silver horned screaming skulls. When she needs to hide her neck and forehead tattooes, she gets a scarf and ties it on her neck and wears a blank hat.


Personality: Sarcastic, flippant, and cynical. These qualities just define Dante, but do not at the same time. She is also unflappable, not flinching even if a Tyranitar roared into her face. She's also short tempered, willing to strike anyone that rubs her the wrong way once irritated enough. She's honorable and honest, but can be a little blunt for comfort and can be just as stubborn as a mule. On an odd note, when she yells at a person when angry enough, she pulls them close and yells "Let me tell you something, ____!" and the subject's full name and occupation if prestigious enough. She’s also a bit spoiled, but that may have come from her family. She's also rather open with her love, kissing her love on the lips in public, and not to mention willing to do some indecent things, but not do the entire thing.

Tattoo #2: another one above her heart of a heart with white and blue flames on top, a thorny vine wrapped around it and a banner below it that says "Cuerpo y alma", meaning "body and soul" in Spanish.

Tattooes #3 and 4: On both of her arms is another extensive set, this time about the ten realms of the Paradiso, also in Spanish.

Tattooes #5 and 6: On the outside of both legs is yet another tattoo, this time about the ten levels of Mount Purgatorio, in Spanish as well.

Tattoo #7: On her forehead is a tribal version in the vague shape of a crown.

Tattoo #8: In her right palm is the astrological symbols of all the constellations, reaching where her middle finger bone connects to her hand to the underside of her arm.

Tattoo #9 and 10: In her left palm is the Chinese characters for the twelve Chinese Zodiac animals, reaching where her middle finger bone connects to her hand to the underside of her arm.

Tattoo #11 and 12: On the back of her right hand is the Latin Cross in blue, and on the back of her left is an inverted pentagram in red, with the point of the pentagram facing her knuckles.

Tattoo #13: Making a necklace on her neck is a chain of all known musical notes.
