Thread: Trebloome Academy: Part III

Chandra quickly got the odd feeling of a set of eyes watching him. Looking away from the other nonsense, he took notice of a small yellow mouse-like creature, and what appeared to be a napping human against the railings next to it. A Pikachu and someone who was presumably its owner. The Pikachu appeared to belooking around in a menacing fashion, but Chandra was quick in returning the glare. If this thing was thinking that it was going to be able to intimidate everyone here, then that piece of vermin had another thing coming. Plus, sitting in the corner glaring at everyone was his schtick.

The electrical shock actually had an odd side effect on James. Sure it hurt quite a bit, but when he reached down to help Alexis up, he noticed that his left shoulder wasn't as sore as it usually was. He realized that the electric shock may have actually helped relax the tense muscles, something he could be grateful for. James had been startled and quite annoyed until noticing the beneficial effects of the electricity. "You alright babe?" James muttered as he snaked an arm gently around Alexis' waist. He didn't want her starting something over such a small offense. He didn't want to have to deal with that sort of drama before even getting to school. "You might have gotten more of a shock than I did out of that one." He joked in an attempt to ease the tension.

"Yes I'm alright, I just fell on my knees on a very expensive, designer coat that I saved up for" she scoffed. "It's you that got shocked" she said, know up on her feet and looking at Dusza. "Put a leash on it" she scoffed, not wanting to start off on a sour note when she had just seen James again.

Pikachu happened to notice a Lunatone glaring straight at her, and looked at it. She was confused as to why it seemed to have a problem with what she was doing, but shrugged it off, deciding that it was its problem if it had a problem, and continued watching the area while watching the Lunatone from her peripheral vision.

"Don't worry about the coat." James muttered. "I know a guy who can take care of it... repairs, dry cleaning, anything in that department..." James trailed off, realizing that there was no need to go into any more detail at the moment. After all, it had been awhile since he had seen Alexis. "I want to know how things have been?" He asked her quietly. "I've been busy working out and rehabbing that bum knee of mine."

Alexis shook her head with a teased look on her face. "I can tell you've worked out" she complimented before going onto what happened since they last saw each other. "Well my mother finally had her baby. Beautiful baby girl. I sort of helped the name Tamara to be chosen" she smiled as she remembered her baby sister. However, she recalled missing Stacy but being with James she could strive on without bursting into tears or getting angry about it. "Erm...yeah" she stuttered, "...besides that, and helping around for my mom, I haven't done much" she smiled. "Maybe that's why I've gone a little fatter" she laughed as she pretended to stretch her clothes.

After wordlessly stepping away, Dusza just then took notice of Chandra's intent staring. Upon tracing his line of sight, he determined that the source was a Pikachu. Figuring that it was just Chandra's need to make sure his presence was understood, he paid him no heed. Itazura, however, began getting right up in Chandra's face making a variety of goofy faces and sounds. Dusza couldn't help but give a slight smile at the sight.

"Keep that up, and I'll throw you right off of this boat."

The voice rang through Itazura's head, and he quickly stopped his antics, floating back over to Dusza. His team of Pokemon were definitely unique, that was to be sure. There was never a dull moment...even when it would be preferable. And still, Chandra continued to glare at the Pikachu, if not more intensely than before. Now it was ignoring him, and if there was one thing...well, besides people, that he hated, it was being ignored. He normally took it as an insult.

The ship had broken its final wake, slowly careening into the grand docks at the bast of the academy's steps. The cathedral-like school stood as a bulwark to the cold, vigilantly protruding from the cold mountain range. As a small bridge extended from the boat, two men entered the covered dock. One man was old, though sturdy in his appearance. He was as the mountains themselves, bearded in a light silver with eyes the color of the grey clouds which clung to the rocky palace. He was tall, fit, and cold in appearance; though, like a worn fireplace, a gentle warmth radiated from his stern and caring eyes. He was dressed in a casual jacket, the same color of grey as his eyes. Nuzzled between two worn hands, a rose-tipped cane gently dug itself into the grooves of the headmaster's familiar hands.

At his side was a dashing man of unequal beauty, possessing a vulpine grin and eyes the deepest shade of red. His cheekbones curved into a delicate swath of nobility, his long black curls falling over his shoulders like a flood of night. His tall, toned body was kissed by a tightly-worn black jacket, lined with a light-brown fur. At his waist, a black, leather-bound notebook was found, and on its opposite, a sheathed rapier. The pommel was marked with a rose similar to that on the headmaster's cane, the silver sparkling gently under the light which broke through parted grey clouds from above.

Card, Headmaster of Trebloome, approached the dock with a chiseled smile and a soft wave of the hand. Lucien, Head of Heart, stood at his side with a delicately shaped smile and eyes burning with the passion which frequently pumped through the poet's veins like snow through the icy Trebloome landscape.

"I welcome each of you to Trebloome Academy... To each of you returning, know that it warms this old man's heart to see these familiar faces, and to each new student, know that I am honored beyond your recognition to have you here on my academy. You are that which makes Trebloome grand, treasured, and secluded. You are the best and the worst, and no matter which, you are one of the greatest that mankind has to offer. Welcome to Trebloome Academy."

Lucien took a few steps ahead of Card, giving a bow before the students. The barely-there accent kissed his words gently, giving a flow and grace to his words that returning students would easily recognize. "My heart leaps to see those who return... And just the same to each of you who has never placed foot within these magnificent halls. As some of you know, I am Lucien Vairmourne, Head of Heart."

Luna's eyes were fixated on Lucien. Her heart pounded with a loud thumping noise. He was a masterpiece, and she could only look in awe.

"Lucien Vairmourne..." Luna whispered softly to herself, "What a lovely name..." Frost had looked up at Luna and tilted his head to the side. He couldn't understand what Luna was doing or why. So, the Glaceon just gave up and looked at the two men that greeted the students.

Calvin lazily opened an eye to look at the owners of the voices he had just heard, and grinned, opening his other eye and standing up. Now, he wasn't overtly exuding malice, but if you got close enough, you could tell it was there. His eyes were also a slightly lighter shade of blue. This was the Calvin most everyone who knew him knew, the one who was fighting a valiant, yet losing battle with himself. He looked down at Pikachu, and noticed that she was smiling slyly at a Lunatone who had probably killed her millions of times over in its mind, judging by the glare. He shook his head, chuckling to himself, and approached the other end of the dock where Lucien and Card stood. He saw out of his peripheral vision that Camille was approaching as well, and noticed that she regarded him with a subtle fear. This subsided quickly, as she seemed to notice that he was no longer his evil self.

Chandra was dangerously close to bursting, determining that this rat was trying to play mind games with him, but he managed to keep himself fully intact. Now that everyone was in a group like this, it wouldn't be a good idea to lash out now. Maybe later. In any case, he also had to resist the urge to give his honest response to the overly long and flamboyant speech. Chandra hated speeches. But, then again, there was a very, very short list of things that he didn't despise.

Dusza gave a smile and a nod. If there was one thing about this place that gave him some degree of security, it was definitely the other staff members. Even though he tended to seclude himself from them, their dedication and willpower to make sure that the academy remained standing was something to be admired. Itazura was practically having a fit trying to control himself. Dusza could tell that he just wanted to run around zapping everything in sight, but his stern aside glance reminded his mischievous friend that it wouldn't be tolerated. As much as he loved having the Rotom for company, his reputation had taken more tthan a few blows because of him.

Ruby was slow to walk off of the plane, her steps somewhat wobbly as she stepped onto the island with everyone else. She cradled herself in her arms, shivering madly and teeth chattering uncontrollably. Even though she had donned a much warmer attire, adding a brown fur coat and black cargo pants, her low tolerance for cold was being made very apparent. Her skin was also a few shades green, still nauseous from not only the trip here, but the thoughts she had for company on the way. Cobalt immediately began sifting through the crowd for any possible suspicious activity, while Jade gave Ruby a concerned look. "I...I'm fine." Ruby managed to speak even through her trembling lips, but Jade's concern didn't diminish.

Joe snarled under his breath as he raised from his crouched position at the end of the boat. His mind raced further ahead of the current scenario, showing him the various ways of which this confrontation would turn out. Most of them were bad. For Lucien, anyway.

He walked forward stiffly, his breathing steady, his eyes dark and fixed on the on the school behind the teacher’s. He would not look at them. His finger toyed with one of the Pokeballs on his belt, and the corner of his mouth raised in a half-smile as the scenario’s kept playing.

He shook his head and let his hand fall back to his side. His face turned darker and his jaw clenched, his hands curling into fists at his sides.

Jason looked at both Card and Lucien before turning to the island, a serious grin crossed his face before he shifted towards Lucien once more. He hadn't had a chance to ask the year before with all the events going on but now that he was back he was dead set on asking Lucien for training knowing that he was a powerful trainer that could definitely help him out.

Tailisu gave out a curious look two male figure that came to greet them, the one who gave out that speech was probably the headmaster of the school while the other one revealed himself to be Lucien Vairmourne the head of heart; He recognized him as the guy who have sent the letter. Tailisu wondered what their stories are.

He then looked up to the school and his eyes widened at the sight, it looked just like a castle! Or some kind of church, or both. He had no doubts that this school was not going to be ordinary.

"What are you smiling about?" Lane asked Jason after getting off the boat and joining the group, she stared up at the Academy for a moment fond memories taking her down memory lane.

"Hi" a voice said irrupting Lane's moment in the past, she turned to see Alice standing there, who decided it was time to go say hi to everyone. "Hey Alice it's so great to see you here. That reminds me I wonder if Alexis is here? I could have sworn I heard her shriek earlier" Lane commented after greeting Alice.

"I don't know. I think she was here" Alice said showing her still shy side, Lane wondered why she still had that, had the academy not been successful taking Alice out of her shell as it had with her?

"Well I am sure we will catch up with her real soon!" Lane said sounding excited, both to see Alexis again and to everyone else and start the academy once more.

While the students were piled outside, Stephanie was inside waiting for the day to start. However she wasn't in her room and rather stood in front of the dorm that had been Stacy's. "Steph?" a female voice asked, the blond turned to see Kate stepping into the room. "You are thinking about her aren't you?" Kate asked walking up to her.

"Yeah.. I am just wondering what's going on with her, haven't really spoken since she left" Stephanie said softly, Kate could see the feelings she was trying to bottle inside her, to look tough for Kate and Alice, that she was alright. Kate wouldn't pretend herself that it didn't bother her a little that Stephanie was thinking about the woman she once had a crush on.

"Well we don't know if she's gone forever. For all we know she is coming back or will be back in the future. Far as I know the only teachers that are here is Zoey, Marc, Lucien and Card. Everyone else, the bets are off the table until I see them" Kate explained trying to place a little light humor in but her wife didn't seem to hear her.

"Guess so, I just wished she didn't go. It was nice having her around here" Stephanie replied, Kate nodded her head placing her arms around Stephanie.

"She may return like I said, but for now let's focus on the next months, I wouldn't be surprised if we had quite a few months ahead of us" Kate said trying to distract her, Stephanie said nothing more staring at the door.

"I still can't believe we are having a baby!" Zoey said with glee as she stood in her dorm with Marc. Neither knew Kate and Stephanie were right across from the dorm room currently.

"I know right, I think we will make excellent parents. Although we should still discuss what we will do when the baby's born? I guess I can get leave off and become a househusband if Card is not right with having a baby inside the academy" Marc explained to her, Zoey gave a small pouting face.

"But you can't leave, I want you to be here with me. Otherwise I will be so lonely. To be honest I don't even know half of the other people. Aside from Lane, Jason, Stephanie, Kate, uh Lucien and Card there's no one else I know too well. If you left I wouldn't know what to do" Zoey explained looking sad at the very thought. Marc walked over to her and gave her a long passionate kiss.

"I know sweetie but maybe we will still get to stay, who knows but it is nine months away, nine months to figure everything out. Now I want to know will you be okay in the last month or so? Do you need maternal leave?" Marc asked her, Zoey shook her head.

"Look I don't really need maternal leave. Maybe the week before the baby is due but that's it. Our lives are basically at this academy now, aside from the house we live in still. We have great nurses that could deliver my baby I am sure of it" Zoey assured him before getting all flirtly like. "Now before the students come, why don't we have a little welcome back party for ourselves" Zoey said as Marc smiled and kissed her.

"Now that I like" Marc answered as he lifted Zoey up with two strong arms, Zoey giggled from that while he carried her into the bedroom.

Jessica sat in her guidance counselor setting things up, she doubted she would even get to have anyone in here. Because who even came to the counselor these days. "Well maybe I can make things better this time around" Jessica whispered, she walked over to the window where she could see the students gathering in the courtyard. Looking down she could see the back of Lucien.

"My love, I still feel a burning desire for you. I have tried to let her but my heart is stuck in a cage not wanting to let go. But can I? I nearly stuffed everything up before the break, who knows how many students don't respect me anymore.." Jessica said in her soft voice. She still remembered going off at Maria and regretted it to this moment, she still had no idea if Lucien knew of the incident, or if anyone else had forgotten it and if Maria was coming back. Jessica knew this was creepy obsessive borderline stalker behavior and so much she tried to forget, to move on but she just couldn't still feeling like she was stuck in the same place.

"Maybe I can move on. Or maybe the only way I can move on, is to leave" Jessica whispered, that thought made her eyes get a bit misty at the very thought, of being away from him. Shaking it from her head for now she contiuned to stare out at the window down at everyone with a distant look on her face.
