Genevieve, who swore Lily looked like Burgh, returned Plusle and Minun.

It wasn't long before the group reached Accumula Town.
Lila, looking around at the people walking around outside, raised both arms.
Merla grabbed them. "Let's all talk about this, okay?"
"You don't understand! It's... too much pressure! You have no idea! Lila said, struggling. A policeman looked at them suspiciously.

"Uh, she's playing." said Lily. "Hey, aren't you Burgh's kid?" asked the police officer.

"Y-Yes." she said.

"I'm not playing! I'm-" Merla covered her mouth, but Lila tore out of her grip. "I'M LILA! LILA BLUE OF THE FAMILY OF ARCEUS' GIFT!!"
"Nobody knows what that is, Lila," Merla muttered.
"Then I'll SHOW them! Officer, daughter of Gym Leader Burgh, and surrounding witnesses, please STAND BACK!!"
"LILA!! Come on, please quit it!!"

Lily wanted her father when a miracle happened. "Lily?! Is that really you?! Where were you?!" said Burgh as he appeared from a building. "D-Dad!" Lily ran over to him.

"Holy. Arceus. It's Burgh." said Genevieve.

"Burgh... I have the power of pokemon... I... H-Help me!" Lila stuttered. She seemed to be going insane.
"Castform, Weather Ball!" Merla said, and the little pokemon used the move. Lila was knocked out. Merla went over to her. "Riolu, mind helping again?" The Riolu went over to them and tried to calm Lila down in her sleep.

"Hey guys." Benito said to Genevieve and the rest of the group. He was watching his Snivy play his saxaphone.
"What're you guys up to?"

"That's crazy talk. I'm going back to Castelia City. Coming Lily?" Burgh said. He and Lily then left. "Hi Benito. Lila, shut up!" she said.

Lila woke up, and this time she looked confused.
"Do you remember...?" Merla trailed off.
"Remember what?"
"Okay... she completely lost the memory of what just happened. It's probably because she was so stressed. I'm not going to tell her anything, so she'll only remember her past during her own memory flash." Merla whispered, not letting Lila hear.
"We got to Accumula Town? Cilan's better? I... I don't remember... do I still have Pokenesia?"
"Yes. You have a special kind of Pokenesia with an unknown cure," Merla lied with a straight face. "You'll have random memory flashes now and then, though. Don't worry about it, it's all gonna be OK."

Genevieve muttered something. "Lucky..... She has a gym leader for a father."

"Lucky? Seems like she'd be under a lot of pressure. Everyone would expect her to be amazing, like her father." Lila said. Her face and tone were completely blank, as if she herself didn't know what she was talking about.
Merla raised an eyebrow.

Lily and Burgh returned. "Well, that is sad and all...... Oh look!" she said as she ran over to Lila, Merla, and Genevieve.

"Oh, hello. Who is this?" Lila asked Merla.
"That's Lily. She's your friend."
"Oh, okay. That's good, right?"
"Yeah. That's good. She's a friend."
"Okay. Hello, friend!" Lila said to Lily.

"Hi, Lila." Lily said. Burgh returned to the building and exited with his wallet. "Okay, let's go." he said. Genevieve smelled a poop. "Cilan." she muttered.

"I thought he was better! Cilan, what the heck?" Merla said.
"Better?"
"He's acting like a kid; got kiditis."
"Um... Okay, I..."
"Shupp, Shuppet!" Her pokemon said.
"Hmm? Oh, yeah. Let's do that." Lila said. She didn't seem to notice that it was a pokemon who had just spoken.
Merla's eyes widened.
