Lila and Merla ran with her, Lila being half-dragged with the help of Merla.
Shuppet and Castform followed close behind.

Genevieve crashed into Burgh after they'd reached Route 2. "Ow....." said Burgh as a Purrloin appeared.

"Oh, hello, there! How are you doing?" Lila asked, petting the Purrloin.

The Purrloin purred. "Aw, a good Purrloin.... It's so cute!" said Lily.

"Oh, hi," Merla said to Burgh while Lila continued to pet the Purrloin. "Did you see the news broadcasted ten minutes ago?"

"Yes. What the heck is she, a Zorua or something?" Burgh said, aiming the question at Merla.

"Nope." Merla said, deciding to be honest. He was a gym leader after all. "She's a human granted with pokemon abilities and moves... we're trying to keep it off the news, though. We kind of failed."
Lila continued to obliviously pet the Purrloin.

"LILA!!!" yelled Burgh.

"What? You don't have to yell... you scared Purrloin," Lila said. "What is it?"

"You have gotta be kidding. She's not a Zorua? Crap." said Burgh. "No really, I smell-" he tried to say "crap", but failed when Lily said "CRESS YOUR BROTHER POOPED HIS PANTS!!!!"

Lila looked annoyed that Burgh had yelled at her without anything to tell her, but she continued petting the Purrloin.
Merla raised an eyebrow. "Well, I am not going to change a guy."

Genevieve pushed Cress to Cilan. "Change him. NOW!!!" she said.

That's what she said. thought Burgh.
