Thread: THP: The Dividing Line (Start-Up)

"Ozias!" Infinity shouted. "Her immortality updates once per hour! Inflict a fatal wound, and she'll be ashes until the end of that hour! Put her in a jar, and she'll never escape!"

Laura watched from a little above.

"And you ask me to do it..." Ozias smiled, "Clever. Very well thought-out. But curiosity beats vengeance. Give me a Crester any day. Who are you, Infinity?"

"Get this psycho contained, and I'll tell you! I promise!"

OOC: I have a moment planned for the reveal, and it won't play out well with S-I pinning Infinity to the ground.

Laura, more scared now, watched and waited.

"...Fine," Ozias' elbows extended and shone a bright blue. The Gallade Merge ran S-I through, sparks flying everywhere.

S-I screamed, but managed to hold together. She jumped into the air and flapped above Ozias, about to use Fusion Flare.
Then was scorched.
From the ground, Infinity had used Roar of Time on S-I, turning her to ashes and cinders, which descended upon the ground like snow.

Ozias gathered up the ashes and sealed them in a small cube of pseudo-matter with Psychic. "Now tell us who you are."

"What if we put just half of her inside a jar?" Laura suggested. "Then wouldn't she be stuck dead forever?"

"Infinity, thanks." Lesath grinned. "You put that menace out of commission when not even I could. I hope you reconsider trying to wipe out humanity."
"I have," Infinity hugged Lesath, "Father." She glowed, turning human. Not the adult she had been, though...
She became Sandra.

"You almost killed her. It was just bad luck you didn't."

Ozias' expression turned to one that practically screamed 'nonononono' of its own accord. He knew it was alright that Sandra was Infinity and had reconsidered. But something was out of place here... Too out of place to be good.

What's the matter, Ozias?

Ace was shocked that it was Sandra but if she was that stinger than S-I and was the one to dethrone her then why even pretend to be against humanity after. Something wasn't right.

Ooc: have to get off for a little

"No, seriously, guys." Laura said, louder. "Put half of her ashes in a jar so she can't come back to life!" She didn't care so much about this Infinity/Sandra merge. "Won't that work?"

Sandra went back into Merge form. "No. She would simply reach out to the surrounding area for materials to use to replace the half that's being contained." Infinity paused. "I can sense your thoughts. All my life, I've been expected to be the super-powerful child who could do anything, but all I ever was... I was always just 'the girl with the strange eyes'. I thought such a goal like S-I's would make someone say 'good job'." Tears welled up in her eyes. "Goodbye." She started to exit the stadium.
