Thread: THP: The Dividing Line (Start-Up)

"Y-you're a merge and this is being done to decide the innocence of another merge. You were injected with pokemon DNA so this is the result. I'm Knight and you are?"

The last vine stretched high into the sky. It reminded Ozias of a story once told to him about an enormous beanstalk. "This is bigger than that one you couldn't break!" Celebi informed him.
"That one I couldn't break was two years ago," Ozias retorted, and used Sacred Sword.

The result was a tremendous explosion visible from miles away.

"L-Laura... Laura Kima." she replied. "N-Nice... nice to meet... OhMyGoshPokemonDNAOhCrapIAmPartPokemonHelpMe." She mumbled, and fell off the seat onto the floor. "Ow." She was knocked out from the blow.

Sol picked Laura up and set her down on the couch.

"Nice to meet you Laura. I guess welcome though we should check with Lisath and the others if it's okay for you to stay here."

A minute later, she woke up. After being dazed for a few seconds, she exclaimed, "It wasn't a dream!! Augh!... more like nightmare..." She looked up at Knight.
"Okay... I don't think I can go back to normal people now that I'm... this... So let's check..."

Lewis folded his arms and sat down. As usual, he had nothing to do. Leah was still struggling to stand up after the court, and Sol was arguing with himself. Sophia sighed a weary sigh. It was hard to believe that their bunch of misfits were trying to save to the world from whatever.

Ozias thumped a rock. "I still haven't hit my goal!"
"It's hard to gain experience when you're good at something," Celebi commented.
"I doubt needing to use Focus Blast twice to break through just ten layers of concrete counts as 'good'."
"Uh..."

Laura looked at them training.
"Do we practice moves here? For... battling?" She asked, hovering by flapping her wings at very high speed.

"Not normally, but we're in a bit of a predicament. We need to be at the optimum strength to stand a chance against the enemy."

"Okay..." Laura replied. She prepared a Shadow Ball, which looked ridiculously tiny, and fired it, causing several walls of cement to smash.
"Wow, seems this size doesn't affect my move power..."

Asilla screamed. Why am I still in this mess?! I want to go home! she thought.

Cloe sighed at the girl's energy. Why she was screaming was logical Cloe supposed - they were trapped in the Distortion World after all. She tried to make conversation with the girl.

"Hello," Cloe started, "You're a merge right? My name is Cloe."

"I am." said Asilla. She then Slammed what was supposedly the ground, making vain attempts to escape. "My name is Asilla."

Cloe nodded. "You want to leave, don't you Asilla?" Cloe questioned, amazed by the girl's energy. "There's a portal you know," Cloe said, pointing toward's the gateway that led back to Mt. Coronet.

Rhea doubled over, clutching her head. "I remember! I remember everything!"

At this moment, Infinity decided to show up. Her voice echoed, not just after the actual words, but before as well. "I decided to make myself known."
