And they may even unite against the world.

A curious, but amoral group, known only as the Project, has congregated. Their intent is unknown, and their weaponry is none other than adolescents. They kidnap their victims, which range from 10-18 years old, as that is the age range at which humans are most likely to survive.
Using a process known as the Merge, small mutagens that contain Pokemon DNA are injected into a subject, replacing approximately 35% of their own DNA. The subjects are contained and restrained, and only allowed to leave their cells for testing, and if the Project's equipment shows the subject will be loyal to them.
But soon enough, the Project engineers a batch with the capacity to escape.

It's a stupid idea, but... in parallel to the opener of the blurb... What if we make the Half Project a little weird and witty, like Aperture? I mean, Aperture is ambitious and obsessed with science to the point of slight immorality. They have a charity where you donate your vital organs.
