Thread: Super Smash Brothers: Rise of the Dark Emperor *Start Up!*

Meta Knight sighed and slapped his forehead. "Figures..." he muttered to himself. "I tell someone not do do something, and what do they do? They do exactly that..."

Link shook his head. Meta Knight did have a point when it came to a smaller group. The less people were there, the less of a racket they'd make, and not to mention that Zant had endless tricks up his sleeve.

Cynder growled, holding her tail blade to Meta Knight's neck. "Look, I've been trapped in a nightmare since I was kidnapped where everyone, including Spyro, rejected and hated me, then when I wake up, I see my body threatening to kill him. Don't blaim me for wanting to spend some time with him after that, alright?!" she asked, ticked off. She lowered her blade and returned to Spyro.

Meta Knight then drew his blade in response. "I would not suggest trying that again," he said, his voice having a sudden edge to it. "I didn't want to be in this situation in the first place, and if you do anything of that sort again, I will not hesitate to cut you limb from limb."

Elliot flew back over the small group, and shouted out the broken window. " Hey Meta Knight, welcome to the trophey world where if you die you are put into trophey form. Anyways, stop bickering and go save Zelda. We need you guys to meet up ASAP." said Emile then quickly turned around and caught up with Samus.

"I was from a star system known as 'Populous'. My followers and I were at war with the Matak, Chumara and Dakini tribes," the Shaman said, keeping her eyes trained on the targeting computer.

She then cleared her throat. "I have not decided what I will do yet. I could offer long range support with either this gunship or my attacks," she said.

"Its up to you, as long as you don't backstab us or anything stupid like that." said Emile from the coclpiy

Spyro looked to Meta Knight and Cynder. "Guys, let's just calm down." he said. "We're all a little upset, attacking each other isn't going to do anything at all."

OOC: guess I'll have to munpulate a bit to say Dusknoir added his energy to.

The energy of the villains built up in the massive device before finally surging down the device into the Galacta Knight's lance. Below the base, actually a space station, the machine opened up, revealing an opening leading to the crystal. Finally, the energy erupted outwards, surging towards the planet.

Samus looked up and saw the sky glow red above them. "Hold on!" she yelled, swinging her gunship out of the way in time to avoid the beam, which slammed hard into the planet. Samus looked down as the energy from the beam spread outwards in large faults, the planet beginning to split apart. "What's going on?"

Cynder jumpped aside as one of the fissures went by, landing on the same part as Link and Spyro were on as the planet began to split open. "What's going on?!" she asked, reasonibly startled.

Spyro looked down as the fissure opened up, the chunk of the planet they were standing on lifting out of the rest. "Looks like the world is breaking apart!"

The Emperor watched as the chunks of the planet floated off of the core, floating around it in huge masses, revealing a black core covered in what looked like stars. He gave the player a glance. "Makes you nervious I know you exist, doesn't it?"

Meta Knight leaped away. "How in the name of Nova did the Dark Emperor manage to do this? And what exactly is that?" he shouted, pointing at the dark core inside of the planet.

Spyro nodded. "I know...Malefor managed to do this with the Destroyer, but this isn't the same."

Cynder nodded. "Nor do I think we'll be able to fix it the same way." she said. She looked at the core. "That must be the planets core...despite it being black, it doesn't feel evil...it kinda feels good."

Spyro nodded. "Yeah, like you're dreaming in a way...anyway, the better question is why would he do it?" he asked. "Is he just genocidal?"

"Mugen, Den-O, you ok?" asked Samus, getting the gunship back in order.

Noble 4 narowly avoided the beam that seperated him and Samus. He spiraled to the left, and regrouped with Samus and her ship.

"Hell no, did we just get glassed?" yelled Emile, staring at the core.

"No, it looks like that beam broke the planet into pieces." said Samus, looking at the result. "The Emperor must've had this in mind from the start, but why?"

The Emperor smiled. "Fellow villains! Phase one is completed!" he exclaimed, getting cheers from the crowd. "Now is time, we have divided the planet, now go, claim what you've dreamed of!" he ordered, the villains leaving the stands to begin their attack. He turned around and pressed a button. "While I get what I have been dreaming of." he whispered. The machine began to work in reverse, beginning to syphon energy from the core.

Darkrai grinned maliciously. "And I know exactly what I have in mind..." he said, vanishing in a flash of black light. There was one particular Pokemon to which he had been seeking vengeance for years. And now was the time to do so.


OOC: If you guys hadn't already guessed, this Pokemon is Arceus. Unfortunately, I'm not sure if Gray is in this anymore. I'll VM him and check.
