"Okay then Katherine, Dante, and Miles will be the ones battling me." Tanaka then flung three pokeballs in the air releasing a dragonair, a mandibuzz, and red gyarados. "Choose your partners."

Lilith gulped at the sight of Gyarados.

'Dragon, Dark-Flying, and Water-Flying... Demeter would get decimated quickly, Gaea will be easy prey due to her slow speed, Venus doesn't have good moves yet and will get demolished, Lilith faces a tough challenge staying alive with that Gyarados out, Neptune faces a similar problem only with the Dragonair, leaving...' Dante mused to herself as she assessed her situation.

"I choose Jörmungandr!" She yelled, getting a sigh of relief from the hellhound as the Tynamo popped out of his Ball.

'Hopefully I can get some lucky shots of electricity at the Gyarados and take him out. He'll be the biggest issue here.' Dante thought as she returned her Houndour.

"Then I'll go with this." Katherine smiled as she sent out her Kadabra, Psi into the field. The pokemon stretched its legs slightly as it raised its right arm as well as the spoon it was holding.

Dante looked at the Psi Pokemon. 'A Psychic-type. That Mandibuzz will give it hell unless the brainy beast has the power to beat it.' She thought internally.

"Oh well this should be fun" Miles muttered to himself after viewing his partners Pokemon choices compared to the teachers. He then tossed a Pokeball revealing his Stunfisk and tried to mentally calculate the best possible way to approach this lopsided battle.

Dante inhaled sharply through gritted teeth. 'A Ground-Electric... Sure, the electrical skygazer fish can handle Gyarados and Mandibuzz, but Gyarados can easily handle it as well.' She thought nervously, not liking her odds.

Type Advantages for the Students: Electric

Type Advantages for the Teacher: Water and Dark

Currently, the teacher has better odds.

"Well then I'll start. Dark pulse, blizzard, and flamethrower," Tanaka commanded. Harpy his mandibuzz fired a black ray at the Kadabra while his gyarados, Ruby breathed flames from her mouth at the Stunfisk. Aurora his dragonair fired a large blizzard from her gem. "Tell me what genders are your Pokemon?"he aske as his pokemons attacks flew towards the students pokemon.

"This is so exciting. Must sketch it." Tailisu muttered as he took his sketch pad from his messenger bag. He began drawing the scene of the battle.

"Male. Protect!" Katherine screamed, she throwing her left arm forward and allowing her Kadabra to create a large green coloured barrier. The barrier surrounded it as well as the other two Pokemon of its side, allowing the attacks to be blocked successfully.

Claudia looked towards Zoro before signing.

"How do you like your classes so far?" she asked.

Miles didn't need to see why he should tell the teachers his Pokemon's gender, what if one of his Pokemon knew attract and it was all a trick? Needless to say Miles ignored the teachers question and called out a move for his Pokemon. "Use Thunderbolt" he called out as Stunfisk launched a bolt of electricity at the oncoming flamethrower.

"Thunderbolt!" Tanaka countered. His dragonair fired electricity from her horn blocking Miles.

'Okay I guess. I don't like when we have to talk to the whole class. It's difficult for me because well, obviously,' Zoro shrugged. For once in his life he was truly feeling the weight of being unable to speak out loud. He would have loved to battle with classmates or speak proudly of his Zorua when introducing them in breeding.

"Thundershock!" Dante ordered, getting the tiny leech-like Pokemon to latch onto Gyarados and zapped it.

She cursed under her breath for Katherine for giving her teacher an added leverage against them. Mandibuzz was a female-only species, and if this one knows Attract, that would spell certain doom for the Psi Pokemon.

"Stone Edge!" Miles called out, with Stunfisk sending pointed stones towards the Gyrados.

"Come now you two. You're that afraid of Ruby. She's a big softie. Thunder!" Despite the leech on her, Ruby used thunder as a large wave cutting off the electricity and knocking off the smaller pokemon while blocking the stone edge. Aurora meanwhile slithered quickly over the field wrapping herself around the stunfisk, while Harpy used bone rush towards Kadabra.
