"The most suitable chemical for that would be nitrous oxide; it's an extensive, remarkable pollutant and one of the most commonly known, if not the most noteworthy, to amplify the greenhouse effect."

"Not a chemical, you fool, a source of chemicals! I'm not trying to worsen climate change! This is real life, not some recycling-obsessed kids show!"

"Then simply purchase a farm..." Misos already determined what Annabeth should use, with due consideration for how she requested the advice of what would be a common, plausibly expendable artificial source of chemicals; he always found the deepest satisfaction in the provocation of everyone who met him, and knew how designedly ineffectual subordinates were what she detested most.

Lilith stood off to the side, having no clue as to what Ozias was planning this time.

"I did. And why do you think I have a plan? Why would I need one?"

Foster rolled her eyes. "If you're going to be deliberately ambiguous, then I will take my leave, and perhaps one of your limbs with me if I feel like it. I know you have an idea, now tell me. I didn't make you my advisor for nothing, but I can find another just as easily."

"If you say so; yet... since this is essential for the progress of our Project... you should fund the construction of what would be called either a fuel-reliant power plant or, preferably, an oil refinery."

You could always finance a site for the development of chemical weapons to sell to the government, even if Atlas wouldn't approve; still, no one else who works for us dares to actually do so, especially according to both its allegation for its intent and its concealed utility.

Misos looked at her stoically, with complete equanimity which might have led someone to think he was influenced by some narcotic.

Nix was standing in the doorway. "Cars, that's what you need."

The Seniko turned around and aimed at her, startled. "Oh?" Foster raised an eyebrow, "That isn't a bad idea, but... Aren't you with your friends? How long a story is it?"

"Not long at all, really. I decided to take a walk when I stumbled on a warp panel. There was a dial or something like that which controlled the destination, so I turned it a bit, and wound up here. You all really need to step up on security."

A grin spread across her face. "Restrain her, you two." The Golurk Merges began walking towards Nix.

"If you want us to trust you, you'll first need to prove you can be trusted." The Seniko halted their approached, but continued to aim.
