Thread: Sinnoh Journey (Start-up)

"Before we actually do leave though I kinda wanna get in some training y'know...We'll need all the training we can get." Justin said to Jewel, looking down at Chimchar after

"How about we battle then? Chimchar vs. Diamond."

Justin looked down at Chimchar as he continued eating his sandwhich "What do you say, buddy? Wanna battle Jewel?" He asked the fiery chimp.

Chimchar looked up at Justin and nodded, smiling at his traing "Chiiimchar!" (I'd love to battle!) He happily said as he finished eating.

Jewel and Diamond finished eating standing up ready to go outside and battle.

Miles followed the two trainers outside and leaned against a tree as he prepared to watch their battle. "Don't mind me" he said, "I'm just going to watch"

Once leaving the Pokemon Center, Justin and Chimchar looked over to the unknown boy who wanted to watch the battle "Well uhhh okay go ahead." Justin said as Chimchar jumped off his shoulder. He looked over to Jewel "So are we all set?" He asked as he and Chimchar prepared. He checked his Pokedex briefly to find out what moves Chimchar knew

Jewel did like wise before deciding her plan. "You make the first move."

Justin nodded before calling out an attack "Okay! Chimchar use Ember!" Justin told the fiery chimp.

Chimchar fired out several red hot embers from his mouth at the Shinx he was facing.

"Dodge it and use ice fang!" Diamond moved out of the way of the attack running at chimchar with his fangs glowing blue, only while doing so the glowing stopped showing the move had failed.

OOC: Sorry I've been kinda busy OTL

Justin was surprised that the Shinx could possibly know a move without having much experience. "Quickly Chimchar! Dodge-" Justin started, though suddenly the attack failed. "Never mind. Use your Scratch attack!" Justin called out to Chimchar.

Chimchar jumped ahead and ran over to Diamond before taking a swipe at the lion cub like Pokemon

Diamond simply moved out of the way from the attack countering with a tackle at Jewels command.
