Thread: The Royal Unova

Grey spread the Shadow Claw in front of him like a wall, hoping Vesuvius would smash into it.

This time, the plan worked, and Vesuvius slammed right into it, and collapsed to the ground.

Cody gritted his teeth. "Come on boy, get up..."

Vesuvius slowly stood, and backed away from where Grey was.

Grey knew that he was running out of Power Points, so he shortened the tendrils into semiextensions of his clawtips, and leaped towards Vesuvius to fight in close.

Acting entirely on impulse, Vesuvius released a Wild Charge, which filled the space around him.

Fishing around in his bag, Cody found a Full Restore. "Yes!" he cheered, hurling the Full Restore at Vesuvius.

The Full Restore sailed over the Fire types' heads, and shattered on a table a few feet away. "I really gotta work on my throws," Cody muttered.

Grey turned the shadows in on themselves, and created a shield that covered his body from the electricity, and turned his attempted claw attack into a charge directly at Vesuvius.

The electricity dissipated harmlessly. Knowing that he was close to fainting, Vesuvius readied an Aerial Ace, but was hit by the charge attack. Flying back a few feet, the Fire-type briefly flew at Grey using the Aerial attack.

Grey's shadow shield vanished, as Shadow Claw's Power Points were used up. He was hit by the Aerial Ace, but then attempted to go for full-contact Thunderpunch attack on Vesuvius.

OOC: Sorry for neglecting the thread; I've had a ton of studying and testing recently, and some more to come. I hope I'll be able to start a new RP once I'm done with all of that and the Cailigin Pokedex I'm making is finished. Anyway, I have two ideas for RPs: 1: A group of young trainers are helped by Celebi to prevent a disaster in the future that sends the world into a dark age. It will be somewhat similar to the game Chrono Trigger, which some people may know about.

Or, 2: In an alternate timeline, the Royal Unova events never happened, and so Aerick's life was different in some certain ways (mainly that he didn't know the truth about Theresa until too late). The RP will take place in the future, when he is 100 years old and the billionaire owner of most of Castelia City. His health is failing, but he has no heirs, so he has decided to entrust his funds, his surviving pokemon, and the city to a young adult of a selected group (the RPers). The RPers' characters will compete in battles and in ways that test their knowledge of the city, and possibly discover the dark secrets of Aerick's past as well.

Vesuvius was struck in the stomach with the Thunderpunch, and fell to the ground. Quickly getting up, he went in with another Aerial Ace. Cody searched his bag for another potion. He was out.

OOC: Sorry about not posting for over two months. I had to go to a bunch of swim meets, and eventually I just started to forget.

I like both of those ideas. I might give the first a slight edge, but what ever you'd like is fine.
