You Might Be A Redneck If...
You think The Nutcracker is something you did off the high dive.
You've ever smuggled food out of an all-you-can-eat buffet.
The original color of your carpet is an unsolved mystery.
You've had more court dates than second dates.
The closest you've come to royalty is eating at Burger King.
You've ever stared at a carton of orange juice because it said "concentrate."
You think a quarterhorse is that ride in front of K-Mart.
"I see you have no soul. Want mine? It's black and gooey" -The Frozen Man
Fix'd. I actually wrote it out this time.
Oh right sorry, I don't really have time at all.
So I have to regretfully pull out/withdraw.
Name: Aleph van Kleiss
Appearance: Aleph is fairly tall, and his fingers are well-suited to playing his harp: They're long, thin, and delicate. He is definitely not very delicate: He's on the muscular side of average as far as his build, and fairly tall at six feet. He has platinum blond hair, a bit longish, and his eyes are bright green. He's usually smiling, and tends to wear clothes of his favorite color, green. He also has a shortsword on his waist, which he bought to protect himself while traveling to the academy.
Personality: Aleph is very outgoing and friendly, and has a very cheerful nature. His favorite food is grapes, and he's quite knowledgeable about wine.
History: Aleph was the son of a farmer. He grew up tilling the fields and working the grape orchards for the local wine distillery. He figured he'd do it his entire life, and would be fine with it. However, one day a merchant came to town. He had always wanted to try his hand at playing music, and there was a fairly cheap harp, so he bought it. He began playing, and was fairly good. He practiced for years, and at 16, after playing for a while, word of his talent got to the academy, and he was invited to go there.
Pet: An otter named Shamu.
Time of Availability: Whenever.
Name: Basch Zwingli
Appearance: He is a short young man with choppy blond hair in a chin-length bob cut and dark flatly-colored mint-green eyes. His bangs cast a shadow over his eyes, making his expression look all the more menacing. He wears a forest green weighted cloak, with two small white crosses on the shoulders of the cloak. Under his cloak, he wears a white leather vest, gold plating on his arms and collar, white pants which are tucked into knee high gold combat boots, and a white beret, and is often seen having a sword and shield slung over his shoulder. He also has a cross shaped scar on his left shoulder.
Personality: Basch is the epitome of a sociopath. He hates it when people talk to him, or even look at him. If he doesn't have his medication, he's murderous to nearly everyone, and keeps to himself. He's very serious and self-sufficient, focusing all his efforts on a task he's given, and he doesn't tolerate mistakes or distractions. His favorite thing to do is train, which he takes more seriously than anything else. He takes pride in his combat ability, which isn't limited to his sword. Only on a few occasions will he talk or work with anyone without getting angry, and those lucky people typically end up lifelong friends.
History: Basch lived most of his life in a secluded monastery, always keeping to himself. He hated talking to people, and the other kids kept trying to talk to him. This made him angry, but he kept a tight lid on on his emotional pot. Eventually, however, the contents of the pot had been boiling for too long, and exploded everywhere when he was provoked at dinner. He brutally beat the boy that had provoked him, making it clear that if he heard his name pass another's lips without permission, they'd wish they could die. This cemented his status as an outcast and a xenophobe, and he was left alone. It wasn't long before his family took him from the monastery, having heard of his angry outbursts. He was taken home, and began his training to become a knight. His father had been a mercenary years ago, so he had much to learn from him. Within a few years, he became a high ranking Squire, reasonably skilled in swordsmanship. He also underwent training to tolerate people as long as they didn't mess with him or his family. He managed to get in sheerly by his potential and dedication to his work.
Time of Availability: Just about all the time, except when other people are using the computer. I'll almost always be on in the evening.
@Ludwig Beilschmidt; Accepted
@Heroic Sociopath; Two problems: 1) You didn't say how he got into Royal Academy. Your history implies him going there without being invited which is the only way. 2) Someone of your character's stature most likely would not have a giraffe not to mention the size of a giraffe. It's not an acceptable pet
