Thread: Raven Claw Academy Year I Start Up

"James, you actually came" laughed Imogen as she ignored Maria nw and faced her fellow Golden Dorm student. "And here I was thinking I wouldn't be entertained this lesson" she said forgetting about replying about the berries, mainly because she'd thought Maria would do it for her.

"Well looks like he actually tried coming to class for once," Riley muttered as he shifted away from James.

"What brings you here anyways?" Tyler asked as he looked up at James. "Class is gonna end soon too."

"Who's that supposed to be?' Maria asked, she a little bit confused.

"You know me." James said vaguely. "I'm not one to ignore a damsel in distress..." He mused as he looked over at Maria. "Speaking of lovely damsels, you must tell me who your new friend is." The slight stress in his words made it clear that he knew that Imogen didn't consider Maria a friend in the slightest. He was about to say more when he heard voices all around him.

"What brings me here you ask?" He asked Tyler rhetorically. "Going for a change of pace." He grinned before looking at Maria once more. "Well I'm supposed to be James Dalton. At least that's what it says on the driver's license." He introduced himself with a joke. "And who are you supposed to be?" His gentle teasing continued.

"I'm Maria Letto nice to meet you," Maria pointed at herself proudly before sticking her hand out to James.

Imogen coughed awkwardly and tapped her fingers on the desk. She couldn't stand it when she wasn't the centre of attention. "Anyway James," she added, "Maria's busy berry crushing, so let's not disturb her" she said smiling at Maria then turning back to James.

James took Maria's hand gently. "Well it's a pleasure to meet you Maria." He smiled. "My that's a pretty name." He said mostly to himself before registering what Imogen was saying. "If I'm going to class, I might as well meet someone new." He said to her without actually looking at her. He spared a quick glance at his watch. He was quite late.

"Actually I'm all done," Maria said as she held the glass of mashed berries forward. "Anyways it's nice to meet you too James," Maria nodded her head before bowing politely.

A few seconds later the bell rang once more signalling for Adam to grab his backpack and put his silver dorm jacket back on; he had taken it off so as to not stain it with berry juice.

"Ohhhhhh boy" whispered Emile under his breath, he thought the Golden Dorm was for those who actually had skill in battling and other subjects, not just a lot of money. "Well, I'll just do what I normally do to people I dont want to associate myself with, pretend they never existed!" he thought, and left the class room with his Full Restore.

"Alright everyone, if your not done you can finish tomorrow, just put your unfinished mixtures in that fridge!" said Sara to the whole class above the chatter.

"Thank Arceus for that bell" she said as she got up and walked towards the door, signalling James a look telling him to meet her quietly.

"Good work," Adam said to Emile referring to the project that they had been assigned. He then turned to Ricky. "Did you manage to finish?"

"That class was so boring," Tyler groaned as he got up from his seat. "I think I might not go past lunch."

"I'm kinda hungry though," Riley shrugged.

Sean grabbed his notebook before writing "bye' and showing it to Tyson. After that he got up and followed after the other Golden Dorm students.

James shrugged and followed, having just a faint idea of what Imogen was thinking.

Ricky was relieved to hear the bell. He wasn't really enjoying mashing berries and making a mess. He looked at Alma. "I've decided that berry mashing isn't for me." He commented with a frown. It was clear that his mind was somewhere else when Adam asked him if he had finished. "Er... maybe?" He wasn't sure.

"You Definitely suck," Adam confirmed as he walked over to Ricky. "I was afraid it might turned into poison," he said as a sort of joke though his usual demeanor was still present. "I'm just kidding though."

"James, your such a prick sometimes" she laughed pushing his shoulder. "I almost had that Maria girl until you came. Now she knows I don't like her" she laughed. Imogen was showing some of her true colours at the moment. Sneaking around and backbiting and mocking others that weren't in the Golden Dorm. "Don't mess it up for me James, it's hard enough coming to class" she said before looking and making sure nobody was coming near them as she talked.

Ricky didn't seem all that amused by Adam's joke. Normally he would have laughed but he wasn't in the mood. "I didn't think that dorm could get any worse." He muttered. "And then that guy of all people showed up." He motioned with his head slightly towards James.

James just laughed at Imogen's careful nature. "You know, gold is far from the most precious substance on the planet." He said vaguely. "And I said nothing of the sort to Maria that would give your inner secrets away." He pointed out. "If anything showed your true colors, it would be your inability to deal with me not looking at your cute little butt." He whispered that last line.

"That was a good class," Maria smiled as she walked over to Alma and Ricky. "How did you guys do?" she asked sweetly but referring to another matter as well.

"You know him?" Adam asked curiously at Ricky.
