"My name? Shit, I never thought of another name to use. I need to think of- damn, I'm hesitating too much."

"John ahh...Thompson's my name, Ma'am," Jordan said as he turned his head to Zoey, smiling innocently.

"John Thompson? Oh, who couldn't have made that up on the spot? It even took me what, a full three seconds?"

"John Thompson? Well it's nice to meet you, say we were thinking about heading to a restaurant, do you want to come? I know it's probably weird to ask but I like meeting new people, because well it's fun. I used to be alone when I was a child aside from Marc here with no friends, which I am determined to change since then. We were homeless so we didn't have much" Zoey explained.

Marc however was a bit suspicious, he did seem to hesitate and while his wife hadn't noticed Marc was prone to noticing that. And the name John Thompson sound... well fake, sure people are called that but not often take more then a split second saying it. But Marc knew being suspicious was just stupid, they just met the guy and it wasn't like he was going to hurt either one of them, aleast he hoped not. And the fact he seemed familiar was odd.

"Yeah dinner's on us. Oh and by the way I like your Gardevoir, I have though about catching a Gallade but never found one" Marc spoke up after Zoey was finished.

How unfortunate Jordan's situation became. Surely any public building in the city would have a dozen posters on the walls with Jordan's face all over them. Though he knew he couldn't accept the couple's invitation to dinner, he could only assume that his denial would only disappoint them. Given that these two may be the only people who he even has the chance to speak to, he didn't want to hurt their feelings at all. Marc had opened another opportunity for Jordan, however. Perhaps he could stall them, hopefully making them forget the invitation alltogether.

"Ah, you like Gallade, do you," Jordan asked as he pulled his jacket up slightly to uncover the ultra balls on his belt. He pulled off one that had an "E" etched into it, and clicked the button in the center. From the Pokeball emerged a Gallade who stood beside Seraph as he presented himself to Zoey and Marc.

Marc watched the Gallade as he walked over to it and inspected it.

"Wow your Gallade looks quite trained, how long have you had it for?" Marc asked, Shinx jumped out of Zoey's arms again and ran over to greet Gallade

"Shinx!" Shinx said to him. Zoey smiled down before looking at the Gallade

"Gallades are pretty nice" Zoey said before looking at Gardevoir "Personally I wouldn't mind catching a Gardevoir one day, I just find them kinda mystic" Zoey said admiring it. Marc smiled at his wife but wondered why John had refused to answer the dinner's invitation. Maybe he was hiding something or he just didn't want to say no to them.

"You know if you don't want to go to a restaurant Zoey can always cook something up at our house, she also makes Pokemon food" Marc added. Zoey turned to look at him

"Oh am I now?" Zoey said with a smirk and turned back to John "However I would love to make food for someone, we don't get much company at our house except for Jasmine but she's away right now" Zoey stated.

Seeing that the two could only be distracted by his Pokemon for so long, Jordan thought a moment about the new offer. Not much company except Jasmine, who's gone somewhere at the moment. Perhaps Jordan could leave the comfort of the beaches for a few minutes to accept the kindness of these people.

"Alright," Jordan said finally, recalling the Gallade back into his ultra ball. "I don't want to keep you too long though, nor do I want to eat all of your food."

Zoey laughed at that "It's totally okay, we got plenty of food, Jasmine did our shopping yesterday she is a really nice gym leader" Zoey stated.

"And you are welcome to stay over" Marc added, he hoped Zoey's trust would not be betrayed, while Zoey tried not trusting people too easily it came harder to her then it did for Marc.

"Come on we will show you the way, it's like two minutes from here" Zoey replied as she picked up Shinx and gestured him to follow. "Got any particular food you like? I can whip them up if you want" Zoey added as they begun to walk.

"Yeah, I'm plenty aware of how nice she is," Jordan muttered under his breath, something he wouldn't have dared if the rain wasn't present.

Jordan tipped the bill of his hat down over his face a bit as he began walking into town. "I can't possibly burden you by staying at your place, Sir," Jordan said to Marc. "And I'd be thankful for whatever you may cook me," he said to Zoey.

Location: Zoey's and Marc's house

They weren't far from it as they kept going on. "Well I will think of something, and I understand not wanting to stay afterall you just met us" Zoey replied, she wouldn't sleep at a stranger's house either if was the other way around, but eating there wouldn't hurt. They walked up to the driveway before Zoey unlocked the door and walked in where the living room was suited. Two couches were in front of the TV and a Dining room was next to it.

"Feel free to sit and do whatever it is you do, do you have any other Pokemon that would like to eat?" Zoey asked as she walked into the kitchen.

"I need to go into our room to get changed, while Zoey doesn't mind being drenched I do" Marc commented as he walked away into the bedroom.

He grabbed a pair of his jeans on the bed, however the remote control for the bedroom TV turned on, Marc picked it up but stopped as he noticed the news. They were asking for those wanted kids again, however one of them matched John's description, Marc quickly turned it off as he wondered what he should do now.

Katherine had followed them worried they were going to call the police on the guy, she watched from the fence as she saw the lights turned on and kept watch.

Zoey/Marc's House

As Jordan neared the door to the house, he took his hat and and wrung it out before entering. "Well besides my Gardevoir and Gallade, I have an Umbreon with me too who would probably be mad if I left him out."

Soon after he stepped into the house, Jordan looked down at the puddle of water forming at his feet. "I think I should get a towel or something too. I'd kinda hate to get your floor soaked."

Location: Zoey's and Marc's house

Marc had come back out of the room holding three towels, he knew they would need to dry up really.
"Here you go mate" Marc replied handing him one. He smiled again before walking into the kitchen making sure he was dry, Zoey was already cooking food.

"Okay so that's your and ours Pokemon too. Hey maybe your Umbreon would like to meet my Espeon" Zoey added as she came back into the living room and released Wartortle and the shiny version of Espeon, instead of being a pink one it was more of a lime green. Marc released Mantine, Staraptor and Sceptile letting the Pokemon relax in the living room.

Zoey headed back into the kitchen cutting some vegetables up. "I am going to cook some sausages with mashed potatoes and gravy, dessert is a chocolate ice cream cake" Zoey stated. Marc peered out to look at John not sure if he should tell Zoey, if he did the kid might hear and they could spook him.

"Zoey, after you are finished I need to talk to you in private" Marc said before going back into the living room, Zoey looked curious but kept making the dinner.

Marc/Zoey's House

"That's an interesting Espeon. I've never seen one of that color," Jordan said as he released the Pokemon occupying the two of five ultra balls on his belt. As Jordan's Gallade and Umbreon were released, Jordan adressed all three of his Pokemon as Marc spoke to Zoey. "Alright you guys, remember that we're all in someone else's house. Try to mind your manners."

Tybalt, the Umbreon released by Jordan, walked over to Zoey's Espeon, sniffing the air around it curiously.

"I must thank you again for your hospitality," Jordan said to Marc as he entered the living room. "I also was never told your formal name, Mr..."

"Oh yes Zoey caught that Espeon near Goldenrod City, it was quite a rare find, and it's no problem" Marc stated as he watched Espeon smiled and playfully nudge Umbreon hoping it would play with her.

"Right Zoey forgot to mention that, yes our last names are Benson but you can call us by our first name" Marc assured him. While Marc's last name was Richardson he changed it to Benson after meeting Zoey.
Marc knew there had to be more to these kids and Lugia like Zoey had said. For now he wasn't going to say anything at all.

Location: Outside of Zoey's and Marc's house

Katherine had to find out who these two couple was to see if they would be trusted or not. She managed to go back to the headquarters and looked them up before returning.

"So Zoey and Marc Benson" Katherine whispered to herself as she knelled by the fence now and watched the house. The history of Zoey and Marc seem to show them just as civilians, so perhaps living on the streets these two may not call the police and even try to help them. Katherine knew her job would be at stake if anyone found out so she made sure to stay out of sight.

Marc/Zoey's House

"Goldenrod City..." Jordan began. "I haven't been around there in a while, but that's actually where I had gotten both Seraph and Earnhardt, my Gardevoir and Gallade. They were gifts from my mom," he explained to Marc as he watched Tybalt play with Zoey's Espeon. Seraph and Earnhardt remained rather quiet, however. Earnhardt simply stood by a wall with arms crossed, and Seraph stood idly by Jordan's side, much prefering his company that than of the other Pokemon.

Marc nodded his head watching the Pokemon play around.

"Yeah Goldenrod isn't too bad but things are quite expensive, two homeless people like Zoey and I wasn't able to really stay there so we ended up back in Olivine City. Tell you the truth if I hadn't gotten out of there the Gym leader Whitney would have flirted with me which she kept doing back then" Marc stated. It was only about three years ago.

Sceptile relaxed on the couch while Mantine hovered near everyone. Staraptor sat on the fan resting while Espeon and Shinx played with the other Pokemon. Wartortle seem to want to copy Earnhardt as it leaned against the wall arms crossed as well.

Marc/Zoey's House

Jordan nodded in response to Marc. While he wanted to show his gratitude by continuing conversation with Marc, Jordan couldn't really think of anything else to say at all. The time he spent hiding from society surely didn't help his speaking skills either. The few things that Jordan did think to say, he didn't wish to bring up in fear that it may ruin his cover a bit.

Jordan simply smirked slightly at Marc's comment, finding humor in it. "I hope you didn't know Mrs. Benson during the whole thing with Whitney then."
