Thread: Pro League

"Okay what the hell!?" Elliot exclaimed in surprise as he saw the Gyarados that had just appeared head butt Luna aside.

"Fluffy!" Luna beamed as she got back up and hugged the Gyarados' face, "I missed you, boy!"

"Did he just release a Gyarados named Fluffy?" Vance asked himself. "Is this real life?"

Nate had returned to his seat, but was startled when a trainer apparently had the bright idea to let his Gyarados out in the middle of the elaboratly decorated room. He decided to discuss the current proceedings with some of the other trainers, walking up to Drake and Elliot. "There's a real smart one" he said sarcastically gesturing to the trainer who had let his large Pokemon out.

"Zero!" Mike called as he sent out a Zebstrika just in case Fluffy got violent. He then turned to Eliot. "Not a musician, but a singer. I'm in the top ten with the charts back in Johto." Mike said while Zero stood guard.

"I am Drake Gryphon, battled in a few Pokemon Leagues, didn't win them all but due to certain other attributes, such as being a Shiny Collector, I happen to be known by some" Drake replied, it still surprised him he even had a fanbase, he guessed that's what having good looks, a powerful Pokemon team, and somewhere a farm with shinies did for you, although he wasn't a fan of that sort of thing himself, he quite admired non attractive trainers such as Pryce and Bertha, having coming across them once before. He noticed the Gyarados headbutting the poor girl.

"Well, that has to hurt" Drake said, he was about to assist her but she had gotten up first and hugged the Pokemon.

Fluffy let out another shriek as he licked Luna with his enormous tongue, his tail waging and destroying several tables.

"She seems to be okay though." Elliot nodded his head, though he was actually chuckling at the events taking place in front of him. He then turned to Mike. "Oh sorry, I'm not that good when it comes to music." He said and bowed his head in apology and then turned to Drake, an expression of amazement on his face. "A farm of shinies, how did you find so many?"

Vance ducked his head to the side to avoid getting taken out by a flying table. "We've got a real rocket scientist in the house." He muttered under his breath about the guy whose genius intellect had lead to him releasing a Gyarados in the middle of a ballroom.

"Realizing the snide comment from Nate, Mike decided to have some fun. "What makes you superior?" He asked Nate.

Zero stepped forward to Yui and Servine, his general aura altogether intimidating.

"So kawaii~" Klaus said, hugging Fluffy. "Do you mind if I pet him?" He asked Joe.

Luna giggled as she hugged Fluffy and began petting him.

"It's nice to see you again," she spoke to the Gyarados. Kayla shook her head and sighed.

"When was this ever a good idea?" she grumbled.

Elliot looked at Mike then at Nate and deadpanned. "Oh guys, don't start doing the whole 'don't insult someone when you're no better' routine." He pointed out and pocketed his hand before sighing.

Valerie just looked at all the trainers carefully. "They're a very...chaotic group."

Nate listened to one of the other trainers response then replied, "Well, this is just my opinion, but I would think that letting a large Pokemon out, like that" he said gesturing to the Gyarados, "would be a pretty dumb idea, considering what it can do to its surrounding area" he finshed, looking at the many destroyed tables.

Carrie sat down on the floor and looked at her Pokeballs. She merely listened to the many interesting conversations going around her. Lots of entertaining people.
