Thread: Pro League

Drake came into the dome surprised by the food and table but showed no expression of it. "Looks like we got a feast, glad I had skipped lunch today" Drake said to someone standing next to him.

Josh saw Joe talking with Mike and followed, sitting next to his brother at the table. Joe looked sideways at Josh and smiled, squeezing his hand reassuringly under the table, before turning back to Mike.

“That would be… Amazing.” he said. “But you have to see us perform first. Once this is over, you could come to our Manor in Snowpoint? We’ve scheduled a performance for the weekend after the League ends.”

"I agree wholeheartedly." Elliot nodded his head as he looked at all of the food. "This is the only thing I've always liked about these events." He smiled.

"Sure thing." Mike replied to Joe.

Luna sighed as she sat down at the far end of the table. Kayla sat down beside her while Winter rested under the table.

"You okay?" Kayla asked in a concerned tone. Luna sighed and shook her head.

"It's hard," she admitted, "Especially since the break-up. Seeing him again brought back all of the feelings I had for him."

Drake also took a seat down enjoying the sight of the food, his Servine popped out of the pokeball at that moment, loving the smell of it, he loved human food. "Knew you would be coming, just wait for a few moments yeah?" Drake said towards Servine, who looked up in a snobby wait as to say I don't want to wait.

Elliot sat down next to Kayla, with Ashley sitting next to him and smiling at Winter once more. "I'm sorry but um...you have beautiful fur."

Elliot looked at both Kayla and Luna for a moment before ruffling the back of his head. "Um, hello." He said as he tried to make conversation. "Um sorry for interrupting, I just thought it would be nice to say hi since we'll be seeing each other a lot."

Carrie took a seat and looked at all of the food. "Wow, all of this food looks great." She muttered to herself.

"Oh, hello," Luna said simply before staring back into space. Kayla sighed before looking back at Elliot.

"Hi," she replied, "Luna isn't in the best of spirits now. She might be later, so it might be better if you tried talking to her then. Oh, I'm Kayla by the way."

Winter seemed kind of complimented but she seemed somewhat frightened at the same time.

"Um...thank you." was all she could reply with.

"Nice to meet you I'm Elliot." Elliot nodded his head before looking down at Ashley. "Ashley." he chuckled at her antics. He then turned to the podium. "I wonder what they'll do." he muttered as he saw John walk up to the stage.

Ashley frowned at her trainer before turning away.

"Now I think it's time we start this." John said through a MIC, his picture showing on the big screen as he looked around at the crowd. "I'd like to give you all a warm welcome to the Pro League now without further ado, may the trainers that have been picked walk up to the podium."

Elliot got up from his seat simply he looking around at the crowd once more and gulping before walking to the podium. "I gotta get used to this." he thought.

Joe and Josh got to their feet and began towards the stage. They reflected darkly that it made them feel like show dogs, but shook the feeling off.

Mike walked on the stage, not minding the crowd or the fact he had to get up in front of tons of people, he actually enjoyed the attention.

Nate buttoned his suit jacket then followed the other trainers, and took his spot on the stage.

Luna didn't want to go up front, but she did anyways. She had to shake her mixed emotions off and strut her way to the front. The same way she did when she made her entrance not so long ago. Winter, of course, began following Luna.

Drake got up and followed the others on the podium, Servine had just realized his trainer got up as he was about to chow down. "Ser!" Servine said annoyed before chasing his trainer and went to stand by him.
