Re: Pro League
"You do realize their's a battle portion of contests right? You know? when you not only have to battle, but your pokemon have to look beautiful doing it. Well, i might as well show you what i mean by Contest Flare." Mike stepped out into the battle field and shouted "Angel, Ring of fire!" Angel then charged a flame thrower before launching into extreme speed, his body now cloaked in flames. He then circled around Mike, creating a ring of fire. The force from the speed caused Mike to lift up into the air about as high as Angel. Angel then stopped circiling and dived bombed as Mike fell from sky, no hint of fear in his face. Angel then flew underneath Mike just as he was about to hit the ground, Angel then used Extrasensory to create a shockwave of rainbow flames which aloud Mike to gently land on the ground with his feet as he took a bow.

Re: Pro League
Again Drake's Pokemon hadn't stopped to watch the presentation, despite Gyarado's Hydro Pump had almost come close to hitting the Ring of Fire. "Impressive, but I didn't say there wasn't a battle portion, it's what I meant" Drake replied with a small smile.
"None of mine have learned how to do contest battles, which can work out in your favor if we were to go up against each other. Well.. I once had a Pokemon that did both, she was beautiful at the contest while dangerous and fierce in the League" Drake said remembering his shiny Gardevoir, the way she would stun the judges with each move. After the Pokemon League Drake had entered a few Pokemon contests at the request of Gardevoir, the judges said they could see them on the way to the Grand Festival, and winning the trophy.
But that dream was dashed when she was stolen from him, and that was it. He was no longer interest in the Pokemon contest, focusing on the battles ahead, none of his Pokemon liked the contest either, perhaps it was too much of a painful reminder of the Gardevoir lost, or it was just not their style.

Re: Pro League
"Thank's, man your Pokemon refuse to loose any focus." Mike joked while Zero twitched in his sleep and Yui started to wander the manor alone, ending up in the kitchen by Nate. "Tuff, tuff! (Come on, Come on!" Yui grunted, trying to grab an apple off the counter, but it was out of her reach.
-
Re: Pro League
Nate noticed the Pokemon enter the kitchen, then attempt to reach for an apple. Noting its difficulty in doing so, Nate reached over and handed the apple to the Wigglytuff.

Re: Pro League
Drake managed a chuckle "Well, that's why they have become great battlers, they won't go down until they win, or keep fighting until they are down" Drake replied, it had taken years for them not to be distracted, Servine in particular would sometimes lose concretion, or even lose his temper but it was better now.
Arcanine shot another Flamethrower while Gyarados used Hydro Pump, both collided and ended up going in a different direction hitting Zero, the two didn't notice and continue to train.

Re: Pro League
Zero woke up with a Jolt, the Thunder Pokemon angered. He then went beserk as he started to shoot various beams of Thunderbolt. "Ragna!" Mike ordered. Ragna, the Garchomp, took in a bolt of lighting as Zero continued to freak out with anger.
Yui smiled at Nate as she tore off a chunk of apple and gave it to Nate. "Tuff, tuff. (Thank you.)" Yui thanked.

Re: Pro League
Drake looked at Zero and then his Pokemon who still weren't losing focus. "I apologize for that, my Pokemon do not see what happens around them, just in the battle" Drake said. However Aggron did realize something different was happening, he saw Zero with his thunder attacks and charged right for him, the electric attacks bouncing off him as he tackled Zero to prevent him from hurting anyone else.
"Ag, Aggron!" Aggron challenged Zero, trying to make him focus on something else rather then a rampage.
"Say.. Aggron has no partner, as my sixth Pokemon rather works alone at night, so our endgame with him isn't revealed. Zero could easily train with Aggron as a replacement?" Drake suggested studying them, he knew Zero would have no chance, but if it had Flame Charge he may still able to get some hits, and Aggron was mostly focusing on speed then attack. Already being a tank, he wanted to be fast too.

Re: Pro League
"Thanks" he replied after taking the piece of apple from the Pokemon and eating it. Nate finished the rest of his food, and cleaned his dishes, though unsure of what to do next. He figured Valerie would know so he headed out to the back of the house, where he spotted her by the pool.
-
Re: Pro League
"If that's how you wanna play! So be it!" Mike shouted eagerly. "Rainbow Comet!" Zero lit himself in a cloak of flames using Flame Charge and charged up to use Signal Beam. Zero then charged at Aggron with rainbow colored flames before using Bounce to leap up into the air and smack down onto Aggron.
Yui followed Nate outside to the pool while munching on her apple.
-
Re: Pro League
Aggron seemed to stand taking the Comet and the Bounce, not fazed he turned to grin at Zero. "Aggron has really been trying to take many hits as he can, he's a tank now" Drake informed him. "Earthquake followed by Head Smash!" Drake ordered, Aggron slammed his foot to the ground making the area shake, despite that Drake's other Pokemon continue to battle ignoring it. Aggron then reared his head down and charged towards Zero again, the top of his head glowing.

Re: Pro League
Nate approached Valerie, and asked, "Hey Valerie, I remember you saying something about us trainers being involved in other things besides just the battles and living here, do you have a schedule of these events, or are you still planning them?"
-
Re: Pro League
OOC: Unfair advantage!
IC: "Bounce and Thunderbolt!" Mike ordered. Zero then leaped out of the way of both attacks shot a beam of lighting at Aggron.
-
Re: Pro League
OOC: You mean the tank part? I can lower it, just seems Aggron would able to take many hits, especially a well trained well that has been in many Pokemon Leagues.
"Now air, that's something Aggron can't control, many of his attacks are physical" Drake commented, he knew he just gave away a big tip, but it would be something that one would figure out in a matter of seconds. Aggron crashed as Head Smash missed, in the confusion he was hit by Thunderbolt and Bounce again.
"Soon as Zero reaches you, go for Heavy Slam" Drake commanded, Aggron watched, waiting for the attack as he eyed Zero carefully.
-
Re: Pro League
"If you think Zero is fast now, just you wait! Signal Wave!" Mike ordered. Zero then charged up for a Signal Beam before releasing Thunder Wave. Making the paralyzing wave of electricity rainbow colored and damaging, along with being capable of paralyzing the foe.
-
Re: Pro League
Aggron tried to dodge but the attack hit him. "Go for Heavy Slam!" Drake ordered but Aggron could hardly move, electric sparks surrounded his body, he was paralyzed!
"Well, what do you know, we have a twist in this training session" Drake said looking amused towards Mike. "Come on Aggron, you can do it" Drake cheered him on, Aggron glared at Zero before breaking out of the paralyzed, not completely though and charged at him again.
