Thread: Pokemon World: The Kanto Saga

Jake didn't hesitate. He sped over to the food court and piled his plate high with most everything they had to offer. He grabbed a smaller bowl, filling it with poffins, and gave it to Dylan.

They pair wandered just out of town, near the entrance to the forest. It looked gorgeous at dusk... neither were afraid of the dark though, not when they were together. They felt unstoppable. They were looking around the wild when a pidgey flew out and began to kick up dust. "Looks like we're up!"

Melissa went to the cook. "So you cook?" she asked

All she got was a grunt as a response. "So can I cook something at least for myself?" she asked which this time received the same grunt.

"Pleassseeee" Melissa tried with her feminine wiles which actually worked out. So Melissa was scrapping around until she made something so great that she had only made it for herself.

At least she was having fun...somewhat.

After unpacking his backpack, AC went down with his Natu by his side to the foodcourt. He could see Jake engrossed in his own meal and decided not to disturb him. Grabbing a few things to eat for himself and his Natu, AC left the Pokecenter, in hopes of finding new Pokemon and perhaps even putting in some training.

Rex didnt flinch, he trusted Reece. "Okay, shoot a ball of flames( ember) towards it!"

AC wandered out of Viridian City and towards the forest. He saw Reece training with his Charmander. "Looking good," AC commented as he walked past them. Looking at his Natu, "Let's see if we can find a Pokemon to train on."

Melissa was finished with her food and she had decided to go to the room to chill out, listen to some music and read a book without be annoyed.

She had walked into the her room and was underwhelmed seeing that it looks pretty dull to her however she put some headphones on, made sure that her Pokeball with Gastly was safe alongside her and she pulled out a book after getting changed to a short nightgown, she laid on her bed and started to read.

Melissa was loving that she had some quiet time.

Seeing Reece and AC leave to train also influenced Jake to do so. He walked out of the Pokemon Center and towards Route 2. "What kind of Pokemon are found around here?"

The pidgey dodged the attack, and flew towards Rex with considerable force (Tackle), "Tackle it back!"

OOC: Ill just put the actual attack in brackets, that way i dont have to be so bland e.g "Ryhorn used earthquake!"

That Pidgey seems strong, AC thought. "Natu, let's look to see if we can find a similar Pidgey to train with!"

Natu chirped happily and started scanning the area. He saw a Pidgey resting on a nest in a tree. AC took notice of it as well. "Let's go," AC said, "use Peck!"

Natu flew up and at a fast speed directed his beak towards the unsuspecting Pidgey. The attack landed and the Pidgey fell to the ground.

"Wow," AC said, "That was easy." However, Pidgey was not over yet. He managed to get back up again, but this time he had friends. Apparently, the tree was home to several Pidgey. "Uh-oh," AC gulped, but he noticed the Pidgey that took the hit motioning the others to back off. Apparently, he saw this as his own fight and wanted to take on Natu all alone. "Very well," AC smiled at Pidgey's gallant actions, "Let's get it on!"

Melissa was focused on what she was doing but then she decided to hit the sack for some "Beauty sleep" and that was the end of her day.

Although it did bother her that none of the guys found her attractive but that was all relative however being told that she was beautiful did help Melissa in growing an ego and taking care of herself.

She was dreaming about which Pokemon would work with her in the contests ahead and if she could utilize her impressive dancing skills but that was going to be a long time for that, so she could just practice tomorrow and catch some Pokemon.

The Pidgey flew at Natu and hit hard with a peck attack of his own. Natu seemed to be hurt but was still up for a battle.

AC's main problem was a lack of moves to use. Natu's Night Shade would have no effect, so he was stuck with peck as his main source of offense.

"Peck again," AC ordered, but this time the Pidgey knew what was coming and easily dodged the attack and then quickly landed a tackle attack of his own. Natu seemed badly hurt. AC had to think of something quick as Pidgey prepared to land the knocking blow.

The pidgey that Rex was fighting all of a sudden flew up and over him. It seemed to fly over to another Pidgeys aid, who was fighting a Natu. A wild pokemon battle? Reece thought.. before he caught onto the fact that A.C had a natu. "uh oh" he sad as he scooped Rex up and ran over to the fight. A.C's Natu was badly injured, but still trying to fight. "Rex, Get rid of our Pidgey!" He yelled half a second before Rex fired a ball of flames in the birds' direction.

With Rex's ember attack coming towards the two Pidgeys, the two bird Pokemon got distracted. "Thanks man," AC said, "But leave the rest to us. I think we can handle it."

Now think, AC thought. Then, while his Pidgey was distracted, he ordered Natu to use a peck attack which landed successfully. It also saved Pidgey from the flames coming from Rex. Pidgey got up to hit Natu again, but this time AC was prepared.

As Pidgey rushed towards Natu, AC yelled out, "Teleport!" Natu teleported from Pidgey's way and then rushed from behind to hit Pidgey again. The attack landed successfully. Pidgey was extremely hurt, yet he wanted to keep going on. It was apparent that Pidgey was not one to call it quits.

"I love this Pidgey," AC said, "But we have to take it to a Pokecenter." AC rushed to it and picked it up. While Pidgey kept pecking on AC's hands, AC rushed the Pidgey to the Pokecenter with Natu by his side.

As a.c grabbed the pidgey and ran, rexs original foe glared at him. Not only had he hindered him, but he had stopped the bird from saving its friend. It was angry now.
