Behaviour: They are now carnivorous in diet, catching birds that fly near or land on their palm tree homes. They may drop from their trees if they believe that they can land directly on the head of prey.

Behaviour: Cocurgane are very sedentary by nature, and getting one to move is quite a challenge. However, they fear fire, and will crawl as fast as they can to get away from it.

They live in fresh ash near active volcanoes, and dig into it using their back legs. They have long tongues, which are used to snare bugs and small birds. They leave trails of small firey spots when they leave their volcanic homes due to their hopping and heat. They can give quite a kick with their poweful back legs, and can make loud croaking sounds.
Behaviour: Toalder are cowards, and upon confrontation will attempt to burrow into the ground, no matter what surface they are on. They leave their ash-burrows to hunt for food, but always come back home before nightfall, when they would be seen due to their smoldering bodies. They hate rain, and will stay tucked into their holes when the weather is bad.

Behaviour: Igniphib are always on the hunt, and can be dangerous to anything they come across. Sandstorms often bring groups of them that have banded together to attack settlements in the desert. In battle they will attempt to leap high into the air and crush smaller foes, but larger opponents they will ram and attempt to burn before finishing them. They can create small earthquakes.

Physiology: Bactrifurn are enormous, light brown toadlike creatures. They have burning bodies and evil eyes that look like rocks. They lurk in the desert sand, waiting with their eyes sticking out to look for prey. Bactrifurn will attempt to eat anything that moves, including birds such as Daitryroc, even while said birds are in the air. Their bodies are constantly at a high temperature, although the outsides are not hot enough to melt the sand in which they live. Despite their enormous size, they can move quite fast, with leaping jumps carrying them quickly over the desert sands.
Behavior: When they see food walking by, they jump out from the sand using their incredibly powerful legs and attempt to either land on it or crash into it. During sandstorms they will rise from their burrows and and actively hunt for prey. During mating season the desert will be filled with their strident cries. Bactrifurn migrate to volcanos to lay eggs, then return to their burrows.

They have electrical receptors in their bills, and they use them to hunt for Corphish and other small water pokemon.
Behavior: After finding a Corphish, Splarynch will tear it apart using its claws and strong teeth, the latter of which is located in the mouth, underneath the bill. They sleep for 14 hours every day, and are nocturnal.

Monoven can launch these spines by channeling pressurized water through their pores.
Behaviour: Monoven are territorial, and quite dangerous to anything inside their claimed hunting area. However, they will not pursue prey and others past the boundaries of their territory, except when moving to a new area in the rainforest. The mothers take good care of their eggs and young.

Behavior: Daitryroc are powerful predators, eating everything from Water-type Pokemon to humans. They will often swoop down to snatch Crawdaunt and other large pokemon from the water. Land based pokemon such as Tropius are also part of Daitryroc's diet. They are very good parents, and the parents will take turns with the offspring until the baby Runnerbe are ready to leave the nest. The young are then carried to the plains to live and grow to adulthood.

They have hard skin, and unlike ordinary Occa berries, have their vital plant-organs where the seeds would be. Pokemon that eat plants will still eat their sweet-spicy flesh.
Behavior: Chocopod are inoffensive little pokemon that live anywhere that there are Occa trees. Their parent Tropicocoa drop them off where they can live in safety, and then move on to new places. Chocopod will drop from trees in huge numbers to make the earth shake when their trees are threatened, then attempt to stampede the foe.

Behavior: Xegrub do nothing but eat wood until evolution. If disturbed they will spray acid and attempt to bite, but they're weak and slow enough that Xegrub are favored prey items of large pokemon.

Knacturn crawl very fast, and seeing them dance and sing to each other's music is a beautiful but terrifying sight.
Behavior: During full and new moons Knachturn will gather and make music in clearings. They will leap into the sky and glide down as they dance to the other's melody. In the summer, the southern forests resound with the Reaper's Tune, as the music of Knachturn is called.

Their natural habitat is the northern rainforests, where they will eat fallen fruit as well as low growing plants. Cavyze's teeth grow throughout their lives, and need to be worn down by gnawing. They have small floppy ears.
Behavior: Wild Cavyze live in family groups, and pet ones enjoy each other's company as well. Pet Cavyze like being picked up and held by their owners, and will make soft purring noises when content.

They are thick, stocky pokemon, and will squeal to members of their family group when danger approaches. Zapybara have strong electric powers, but these are used mainly for defense.
Behavior: Zapybara are social pokemon that live in family groups. When they wade into rivers to feed on water plants, one Zapybara will stay on higher ground and keep a lookout for approaching predators. In captivity Zapybara are gentle creatures whose shedded fur can be made into electric blankets.

Physiology: Ikasamare has a shell like Lapras, but much thinner. It usually keeps its neck folded up to fool prey. It can extend its neck very far and extremely fast . Its mouth is full of very sharp teeth for quickly killing and devouring prey, and its bite is incredibly powerful. It is a blue black color, darker than Lapras. Its length is 14 ft (6 ft long neck) and it weighs 458 pounds. Its horn is longer and sharper than Lapras's. It has a similar tail and fins to Lapras. Its ears, unlike the tightly curled ears of Lapras, hang down. The first Ikasamare were created by the goddess of the Caligin Empire. Now they patrol the seas of the regions of the Golayn Peninsula and Rikken.
Behaviour: Ikasamare use their similar appearance to Lapras to lure humans onto their backs, and kill and eat them by extending its neck. It sometimes skewers prey on its horn instead. They will attempt to kill Lapras on sight to take their places, especially if said Lapras is well known to a human community. While Lapras sings, Ikasamare screams, using moves like Screech and Hyper Voice.

They make an odd sound as they float because of air passing through their bodies.
Behavior: They still defend the homes of their creators with their lives, and attack anything that enter the houses that they were created to guard. This behavior was the reason that old Caliginis was abandoned. They make many odd sounds, and can imitate noises that they hear.
