Yeah, I'd prefer three ribbons too, but you know the coordinators may want to have four ribbons.

5 is hard because we will have to make up cities and it will only prolong the rp. 4 is possible but as Cole/Gray said it means that either you or Camille/Calvin will win the contests. I'd also prefer 3 each, but if the coordinators want 4 fine.

EDIT:@Buzz, why do you guys say 3 ribbons for right to compete in GF rather than 4? (Why it's not 5 is obvious with you and Enzap competing)

Not only is it time consuming to have 10 different Contests for two people, but it is also unrealistic to:
a - Have a Contest in every city
b - Have a player win every Contest that they participate in.

That's what I thought, but we're really not sure about having 3 or 4. I mean it would be highly unrealistic if the winners of the 8 contest were either Calvin or Lone Wolf. So, Gray and I say that coordinators should collect 3 ribbons, you know so 2 of the 8 contests are won by some NPC. What would you say 3 or 4 ribbons?

Not to mention that you may not even get to a Contest in each city. Or even add Contests in places that would be less notable without one, like Lavender Town.

Why not, after this, try to place Contests in towns and cities without Gyms? I realize there aren't many towns without Gyms, but it would still help space out the events, while the opposite group could train while the other competed in Gym battles or Contests.

Yeah...So, Lavender will get its contest. But there aren't any other towns without gyms (except for Pallet) in Kanto.

EDIT: What's the gym battle order? I guess Kuro's travel group goes first. First Gray/Cole, then me and then Kuro?

Sorry, Kuro, for any misunderstandings concerning who battles Brock when. I posted a while back in this thread asking if I could go first, and then no one responded and I sort of just jumped to the conclusion that I could. I'm perfectly fine if you'd like to battle the Pewter gym first, I can always just go second.
