Re: Pokemon Blazing Red and Forest Green!
OOC: Quick question when did charmander learn thrash? Also wouldn't bubble do more damage being a water type move, and only one level below charmander?

Re: Pokemon Blazing Red and Forest Green!
OOC:Well, Thrash is a default move when your pokemon has no move pp left, but
in my case I made Charmander do it out of rage.

Re: Pokemon Blazing Red and Forest Green!
OOC: Struggle is the move used when there is no PP. Thrash is a moved used by high level pokemon. 27 is the lowest level any pokemon learns it, and charmander can't even learn it.

Re: Pokemon Blazing Red and Forest Green!
OOC: Imma go with Pi Face on this one. Not only can Charmander not learn Thrash, but also, like mwto said, Squirtle is a water-type and only one level under, so this battle is kinda one sided. I'm just saiyan.

OOC:Lucky that I didn't choose my Pikachu, Just pretend the Squirtle
is still in its stinkin shell >.>
Amaranth glared at the Squirtle hiding in its shell as Charmander ran forward,
It released a few embers onto the shell, weakening its defense.
"Wait Charmander, stick your claw in and get em!"Amaranth said as Charmander
lengthened its claws and jabbed Squirtle in eye with Scratch.

"Grab him then bubble," the squirtle did as told, he grabbed charmander's arm from inside of the shell and released a large amount of bubbles hitting the charmander.

Re: Pokemon Blazing Red and Forest Green!
OOC:This battle is some bull, I wanna use Pikachuuuuu,If I did it'd be a tie
because water and electric affect eachother in both situations of effectiveness.
Amaranth grumbled as Charmander tried swiping the bubbles away. He then
took out Charmander's pokeball, retrieving him and throwing out Pikachu.
"Taste the sparks!"Amaranth said as Pikachu ran forward and leaped up,
sending a bolt of thunder navigating into the turtle shell, trapping Squirtle
while shocking him.
Amaranth observed Pikachu's HP, it was Full, and Squirtle's went down and
took out a small chunk of HP.

"Switching out when I only have squirtle. Kind of unfair don't you think?" Kina said to the other trainer.
OOC: Water and electric don't effect eachother in any situation. Electric is super effective against a pure water type, especially one not knowing any good moves yet

"Why don't we fight without our element moves, so I won't
own you!"Amaranth said as Pikachu leaped and dashed,
reaching itself in and slamming into Squirtle.
OOC:I won't use my electric moves for my Pikachu.

Re: Pokemon Blazing Red and Forest Green!
OOC: No offense, Soda, but you're kinda in the wrong here. First off, during a standard trainer battle (atleast anime style battling) each trainer chooses a certain number of Pokemon they will be using. In this case, it would be one, due to mwto's character only owning Squirtle. Also, although as the GM it's your choice, I don't find it fair how once the odds are against you, you substitute your Pokemon to one super-effective on Squirtle, who is a water-type and does not know any good moves as of yet. Two things are unfair about this, one, once you were at a loss, you substitute Pokemon to put the battle to your advantage and two, mwto only has one Pokemon, therefore making it so her Squirtle is already weak and now has no choice but to keep him in battle against an electric-type. It's not my decision, but I think you should take this into account.
IC: "You say that like your Pokémon is definitely better than everyone else's." Alex said to Amaranth about his previous comment. "I hope you realize your arrogance will become your ultimate undoing."

Re: Pokemon Blazing Red and Forest Green!
OOC: I really mean this as advice as well, though as GM it's your choice. You shouldn't have every attack hit, give chances for dodges, blocks, and counters, being it's anime style.

"Mr. Amaranth, that's really unfair. Kina only has the one pokemon." Eliot said. "If you really want, I'll battle your Pikachu."
OOC: Agreed. You totally just pulled that out of your rear end.

"Same here." Alex said to Amaranth. "I'll battle your Pikachu if you'd like, as I have yet to have a trainer battle." He patted the Pokeball containing Amber in his pocket.
