Thread: Pokemon Academy GX (Start-up)

"Alright Douleur! Let's finish off that Combusken by using Aqua Tail on him!" Michelle shouted as her Pokemon hit the Combusken with it's tail that looked like water.

Emery yawned, stretching slightly. Giving a pair of blinks, she adjusted her belt, making sure her Pokemon were secure and with her. Confirming each one with a pat, she picked up her book, scanning over the different words and taking it all in.

As Cap was hit by the aqua tail he was knocked out almost immediately. "Sorry Jackie," she said as she returned the combusken.

"No worries," he said as Pyrite was hit with the fire blast. "Use scald," he called out to the still standing buizel as it released hot water at Blaze. While they concentrated on the battle Denia slipped away to take care of her pokemon.

Flare stood his ground as he was blasted with the boiling hot water. "A little too hot..." he murmured, and passed out.
"Aw man," Yui said, a little disappointed. "Ah well. You had the upper hand. Flare, return!" he said, and held out his Poke Ball. Flare returned to it in a beam of red light.

"Alright one down another to go. Use agility then ice beam," the buizel sped up then used ice beam at the feraligator.

Douleur got knocked back a little, but got up. He still looked a bit weak though. "Douluer, use Crunch!" Michelle commanded. The Feraligator moved toward the other Pokemon and bit it.

"Pyrite!" Jackie yelled as his buizel was about to lose consciousness. Suddenly he heard a ringing and pulled at a poke gear. He then returned all his pokemon. "Sorry got to take this, but you guys win. Another attack and Pyrite would've been out." He said running off.

"That was awesome!" Yui exclaimed. "Even though we were the first ones out..." He turned to Michelle. "Maybe we could battle sometime?"

Michelle sighed out of relief that she didn't do anything wrong in the battle. Her attention then went to Yui. "Uh... Sure... Yeah." Michelle has never been asked to battle with someone in a friendly battle, so she was a bit caught off guard.

"Alright then! Now I gotta find a place to heal Flare at. Bye!" Yui said, then ran off.

Michelle waved goodbye at Yui and then walked away as well to go heal Douleur.

Emery, fidgeted with her fingers, tapping them continuously and slightly humming as she continued to read. Suddenly her waist began to vibrate and she reached down to her belt, answering her Pokegear.

"How are you faring Miss Emery?" a familiar voice asked.

"Mr. Atlas!" she laughed. "I'm doing fine, how are you doing?"

"Everything's ok down here except for Martha's nagging." he chuckled. "I just wanted to call and see if you were ok."

"I'm fine," she smiled. "There's no reason to worry."

Her Butler smiled. "I know you are. Have fun for me, ok?"

"I will." she promised. "Bye Mr. Atlas."

"Bye Emery."

Closing the device, she smiled, remembering her butler and his family before attaching the device to her belt again and continuing to read her book. Her Kirlia released itself, giving her a look.

"You wanna go play?" Emery asked. Her Kirlia nodded, and with a smile, Emery replied, "Don't wander off to far, ok?" The Kirlia giggled and ran off, leaving Emery to contend to her own business.

AC was on the ship heading off to a new school. He didn't know what the school would have in store and he tried not to think too much about it. Instead, he looked at the horizon where the light blue sky met the dark blue ocean and took a deep breath. He took out a book and tried to block all sound and focus on the reading.

Emery sighed, laying back in her chair as she closed her book, finally finished. Suddenly her stomach rumbled, causing her to giggle a bit.

"I'm hungry." she laughed. "Better find Kirlia then some food," she said, placing her book under her arm and begining her search.

Yui had left Luke to get some rest, and now was starting to feel hungry. "There better be some food on this boat, or I will flip," he muttered, and started finding his way to the cafeteria.
