As Monday came to an end the week went by fast coming quickly to Friday. There would be no classes on this day as the only thing that would be happening were contests and tournaments. The first years tournament was in the battle room which had bleachers added for the event. The preliminaries went by quick until 16 for the final part of the tournament were left.

"Welcome students, to the first Pokemon Battle Competition of this year, I hope everyone is excited and aware of the rules. 3 Pokemon each, the winner will be declared either when a Pokemon has fainted or the timer runs out after 5 minutes. The winners will go on until there is two semi finals going for the prize. Let the battles, begin" Drake said as he stood up where his desk was, but instead a podium with a seat and a microphone.

"Next to me, I have a hat with the names of the students participation in the battle, I will draw the first two out by random and they will be the match ups, and I will keep matching them up until all are done" Drake explained before turning to the hat on the podium and placing his hand in, scrambling for a paper. "The first battlers are.. Kaitlyn and Spark!" Drake said pulling out two small papers.

Drake finished pulling all the names out of the hat. "These battles will go in the order I had called them out, so first up are Kaitlyn and Spark, show us a good battle and good luck. Let it begin" Drake finished now saying.


OOC: I actually did do these random, pointed with my eyes closed, swirled my fingers in a circle motion and picked the ones that came, so Jackie and Michelle were interesting. I hope I didn't miss anyone.
