Thread: The Poke Games (Open)

Heh, hope I did this right ^.^'. I'm new here so none of you should know me, unless you've somehow met me on Fanfiction. Anyway, this is a semi-crossover RP of Pokemon and the Hunger Games.

Every year, the Pokemon Leagues get together and form a tournament similar to that of the Hunger Games that test the bond and meddle of the trainer and his or her Pokemon. Trainers take a boat to the one place that is equal distance from all five of the major regions, Strati Island, to compete in this tournament. Trainer's are given a couple of weeks to settle in and have fun before the tournament begins in a huge Biodome that is subject to weather changes all the time. After everyone has registered and the tournament organizers are prepared, the tournament will begin. Rules are simple.

Tournament rules are simple:
-Each trainer uses a full team of six Pokemon over their time in the biodome and must keep them outside of their Pokeballs unless one Pokemon is to faint, in which it can be returned to its Pokeball and tended to its injuries, however, once a Pokemon faints, it cannot be used for the rest of the tournament.
-No multi-Pokemon to one Pokemon. If you meet a trainer and you choose to attack and or ambush him or her, you must only use one Pokemon at a time, fleeing is optional but you are less likely to recieve gifts from sponsors or you can still take damage during your attempt at escape.
-Once a trainer has had all six of his Pokemon faint, a cannon goes off and he or she is escorted out of the biodome to allow the tournament to proceed.
-Once you leave the tournament, you may still socialize with other eliminated trainers
-Sponsor gifts are random and you never know when you'll get one, but they are generally very helpful and should be treasured
-There is no killing or fatal injuring. You will be eliminated and arrested for Pokemon cruelty.

RP Rules:

-This is rated no higher then a PG-13 movie or T for a Teen game or Fanfiction.
-What I say goes, but I shouldn't have to say anything besides this, but who knows what can happen?

-You must fill out the sign up sheet to join
-No God Modding, should be self-explainatory, but if you're like me, you won't always remember the implied rules.
-If you're going to take a break from the RP or have to leave, please let us know.
-No major gore, if you want, your character can get hurt, but this is not a Final Destination movie. We don't want someone being driven through a conveniently placed rock formation or being sliced in half by a falling tree, etc.
-Romance is ok. I don't mind pairings, just two limitations. My rule is only one player, so if you wanna have a player as a character you better claim him fast, and remember, this is a competition. Don't let love blind the fun.

okay, so Matilda is determined (which i mentioned in the sign-up sheet), she's also very cautious around people, and she prefers amubushing her targets instead of fighting head on, So just think of her as Rue, just in pokemon form. and can you also explain what RP's are? i know that they mean role play, but is it like a thing where we write a story through different perspectives and jumble them into one story?

It's....how do I put this...It's kind of a game and a story at the same time. We each take turns writing out an action with our characters in novel form. It must relate to the last post made and stay on topic..It's kinda hard to explain. Wanna help Donyor?
