Thread: Pokémon Lava and Ice

"Tackle!" Erina called, and Willow quickly ran into the hole in the ground with the attack.
Erina readied a pokeball.

OOC: And Willow has to know Tackle. It should know Tackle and Leer at LEVEL 5.

OOC: xelda, what I'm saying is that you can't go around saying that your Pokémon is stronger than the others. It knows all its level up moves up to level 20 like everyone else. Also, @Leavanny Duo; I meant that the attack flew the Cobeak a long way, not that it flew off, sorry.

The Snivy dived into the hole. Underneath the ground shook as the two Pokémon tussled. In front of the trainers the two battling Pokémon burst out, both looking quite tired.

OOC: That was a scene where her Pokedex malfunctioned.

Erina, seeing the Cobeak was tired, threw the pokeball again.

The Poké Ball swallowed the Cobeak whole and spent a few seconds rolling on the ground. The ball pinged, Cobeak had been caught.

"Well done!" Nathan said, walking over to Erina.

Tiffany facepalmed herself and shook her head. "Crap, my Dex stopped working!"

"Hey, don't worry, they don't really matter! You should probably turn your attention back to that Cobeak though, it looks like it's about to run,"

Tiffany then threw a Pokeball at the Cobeak and hoped it shut around it this time.

The ball swallowed the Cobeak and rolled on the ground for a while. However, it burst open and the bird hopped on the ground.

"Unlucky, it looked really close though! I reckon that one more attack will do the job!"

"Oshawott, Fury Cutter!" Tiffany said, grabbing an Ultra Ball.

The Oshawott slashed at the Cobeak, who in turn hit the Oshawott with its hard beak.

"Thanks," Erina said. "You can use my pokedex when you need it until you can get yours properly fixed."

Tiffany threw the Ultra Ball, which she got from Unova.

OOC: It doesn't really matter what sort of Poké Ball it is.

Ping! The Cobeak was caught.

"Well done, that's two Cobeak in the bag!" Nathan said.

"Awesome!" Erina said. "Are you going to catch something, Nathan?"
