"I'm Talon. This is Plasmina. Don't mess with her."
"I'm Talon. This is Plasmina. Don't mess with her."
"K; wasn't intending to..."
"We didn't mess with her at all and she still shot us with a Hydro Pump! What's your definition of 'messing with'?!" The Scorpion Queen exclaimed indignantly.
"Calm down," Willow told her. "Perhaps she was startled. We are an odd bunch to be walking through a field, don't you think?"
Max, meanwhile, suddenly felt a terrible headache coming on, and his aura sensors trembled while he held his head, shutting his eyes tightly. After a minute he looked up at everyone oddly. "I think they're... important," he said quietly, though the aura power in his voice made everyone hear what he said. He turned to the three pokemon who had just appeared. "We're going on a mission to stop Darkrai- you know, 'saving the world' and all that. Want to come?"
"You can't just invite pokemon who attacked us to join our group without any agreement from anyo-" the Scorpion Queen started to say, but Max thrust out his paw and she stumbled into a started and furious silence. He then repeated his question.
"Do you want to come with us?"
Coming with us?!? Is he crazy?! She shot me -- well, practically everyone -- with a hydro pump! If I hadn't been a water type, I might have been knocked out! Dylan wanted to scream at Max, but as usual he kept his thoughts to himself. He tossed the last of his berries in his bag and angrily took a bite of his berry, glancing at the Rotom. We should just leave them. Well, maybe just her.
After the narrow miss with the Hydro Pump, Josh aka Rocky was wary of these new Pokemon. Maybe they won't be able to protect me,he thought. He didn't trust these strangers but they might be his only way to get back to normal. He looked at the Riolu that had just spoken. Did he really want to do this? After what seemed like forever and in a shaky voice, he finally said yes.

Matthew Winters woke up, expecting to be at home in his room, but instead he saw a field nearby the other Pokemon.
"Where am I?" He asked no one in particular. He looked down and realized he was far closer to the ground than he should have been. He was short, yes, but not THIS short! He had an even bigger shock when he looked at himself. He had purple skin with darker spots and had a far different body. He had somehow become a Nidoran! "How is this possible!?" he cried, jumping back in surprise. He had to figure out what was going on. He saw a group of Pokemon in the distance. Perhaps they had also transformed? At the very least, they might know what happened.
He ran after them, calling after them meekly, "Hey, can I ask you something?"
"What exactly are we doing here? I just woke up with a sudden amnesia." Talon continued. Plasmina, now calm and in Fan Forme, asked, "Wait, you don't remember anything?" "I remember plenty, I'm just not sure if it's right."
Willow looked at the Nidoran who had just called to them. "Hmm? Yes, what is it?"
"That happened to a lot of us, too, actually," the Scorpion Queen said to Talon. Wait, are they... Was Max able to tell somehow? I guess he is the Emanation Pokemon... "Several of us here used to be human... Did something like that happen to you? I remember a past with pokemon, even though I know I was a human, in all my memories I feel like I was a Zorua..."
"Well... In retrospect... maybe..." Talon stared off. "Wait, what's a huuuman?" Mow Forme Plasmina asked.
"Wow you change a lot. Okay, don't you know those children story myths that tell about bipedal hairless mammals that have no pokemon powers except to enslave other pokemon? Yeah that's basically us," the Scorpion Queen replied bluntly.
"What? It's not enslavement!" Jenny said. "I for one enjoy being your companion and friend."
"I'm glad to hear that. But just like there are bad pokemon, there are also bad people, you know..."
Meanwhile, Talon was again doing that thing where he thought-argues with himself:
I am not a human. I can clearly see that I am a Kirlia.
No, they said they turned into a Pokemon.
But why would I change? Being a human is fine.
Matthew began saying many things very quickly, "I don't know what's happening, I should be human, but now I'm here and... were you human? Do you know what happened? I-This is so... I don't know. If you know what's happening, please tell me!"
Willow thought about how to answer. The Snivy didn't want to make this panicked-looking Nidoran even more scared. "Oh, you were a human as well? I wasn't human, but some of the pokemon over here were. We're currently on a mission from the local guild of a town a little ways away to stop Darkrai from bringing forth chaos. We're hoping we'll also find some answers to why you're all pokemon, so I'm sure they'd let you come along...It's funny, a month ago, humans were just a myth to scare children into behaving. Now I'm caught up in this..."
Talon snapped out of his thought-argument. "Wait, a town?"
Matthew was worried about going on a journey with a bunch of Pokemon he barely knew, but he decided that it was the only option he had to make sense of this situation.
"Okay, I guess I'll come with you," he said, seeming to calm down a bit.
