Thread: PMD: Star Breakers

Jake gasped when Karoshi mentioned this. He had only played Pokemon as a kid and had stopped playing it a few years back. After looking at himself better he finally realized the flame that was coming out from his tail. "Oh my god it's true!"

Carmine found himself up and wandering to where he heard what sounded like other voices.

"Other people...?" He curiously walked over to the noise and hid behind a tree watching.

The small echidna started to wake. "Ungh… What happened…?"

Dante began relaxing slightly, but only slightly, once the primate explained his situation. He wasn't too knowledgable as far as this "Pokémon" nonsense went, but he could worry about that later. "So, unless I'm getting something wrong, you're basically saying that we were all staring at that tree, perfectly human, just before going unconscious and waking up in...wherever we are, and we were somehow transformed into these...Pokémon, which are supposedly fictional beings. Am I correct?"

"Correct." Jake nodded hsi head after turning back to Dante. "Yeah I'm confused too."

Dante gave a sigh, which sounded a bit odd with his metallic voice. "Well, then. Either I've truly lost my mind, or I can safely assume that I have truly left reality behind." He then sat down on a nearby stump and began sharpening his blades absent-mindedly.

Roy remained quiet and cautiously stared at the others. "...I wonder if there's some reason this happened to us." He mumbled.

"God, can you guys just shut- What the hell happened to all of you?" Rachel asked, she woke up rather late, and hadn't realized all of the changes, "Wait, what's going on!?

"You are a fictional creature and was somehow transported to this forest," Dante replied in a rather blunt manner. "That's just as much sense as I can make it."

Rachel stood up, but realized she was only about a foot tall, "Agh! What the- How the-!?" She paused for a moment, taking it all in, "Oh my god... Can I fly!?" She said with an overly joyful look on her face.

"Judging by the look of your form you can't fly, but you can glide," Karoshi said intrigued by Rachel as he didn't recognize her pokemon form.

OOC: But she can still glide without climbing a tree, right? It's pokemon for god's sake

"Wait, why does this seem familiar. I think I'm having a nostalgia moment..." Rachel thought for a moment, "Wait, is this pokemon!? I haven't watched that stuff since I was little! So I'm guessing I became one of the newer pokemon? Because I don't recongnize myself..."

"I'd say from the games that came out for the DS. I never played past the Gameboy Advance games and don't recognize you or him," Karoshi replied referencing to Dante. Looking at who was around he recognized the form of pikachu, and skitty. All others were mysterious to him.

Getting to her feet, the echidna perked up. “I hear voices...” She turned and started in the direction she heard the voices.

"Well, if this is happening to us, why not take advantage of it? C'mon, it'll be fun!" Almost as if on que, a gust of wind was blowing at Rachel's back, and she was lifted into the air by the wind that her "wings" caught.

"Aah!! Wait!" The wind stopped and she instinctivley stretched out her arms, making her soar ten or more feet above the rest. Moments later, Rachel found herself making multiple flips and turns, "Whoever is a flying type has got to try this! It's amazing!" She said while making a flip.
