Thread: PMD: Forgotten Faith (Start Up)

You open your eyes and look around. Your vision is blurred. You don't know who you are or how you got here. As you look around you see you are on a beautiful beach. There are various Pokemon scattered along the beach. You don't understand how you knew they were called Pokemon, it was just a feeling. They are all stirring and some are coughing up water. They look around puzzled. You close your eyes thinking hard. Many questions cross your mind; what am I? How did I get here? Who are these Pokemon and why do you feel like you know them?
Suddenly a green shape comes out from one of the many bushes sorrounding the beach. You immediately feel a strong disliking for him, but why?
The green Pokemon runs over and introduces himself. He tells you his name is Grovile and he knows why you've come here. He agrees to help you unlock the secrets of your past. As you gaze around you notice all of the Pokemon are listening to Grovile, anxious to know more.

Grovile leans in close and whispers "I know that you have come from another world. A ace of cruelty and neglect. Pokemon are kept as slaves to you pitiful humans. You aren't even Pokemon. You think you can fool me, but I know.
"But we didn't mean to become these Poke-"
"Regardless, I won't tell the other Pokemon about your terrible secrets...as long as you follow me and do as I say."
With that he strode off into the dense forest that lay beside the beach. You look around at your fellow Pokemon. They all look puzzled and worried, but follow Grovyle, knowing he's their only way back to the "real" world.

Ardos reliezes that the Grovyle is serious, so he gets up and starts walking, all 1,014.1 LBs of himself, into the forest, finding things to eat on the way.

[OOC: Is Snorlax a carnivore, herbivore, or omnivore?]

OOC: It's probbly easier to go with herbivore. We don't want him accidentally eating the others.

As the troop of Polemon marched on through the dense forest, they became increasingly worried. Clefairy tried to get Grovyle's attention.
"Excuse me, but whee are we going exactly?"
He turned around and gave her a piercing stare.
"I will tell you when I'm ready!"
"But I wan-"
"Fine! There should be a shrine near here that will awaken an ancient Polemon."

Grovile: " Those Pokemon are so gullible. They don't realise how foolish they are. With them present at the shrine Celebi will awaken and I will control her. Soon the both worlds will be mine. I'll dump those fools in the future. Dusknoir can keep them prisoner.

OOC2: Italics mean Grovyle Is thinking to himself.

Roi toddled through the dense woodland, constantly saying, "Slow? Slow? Slow?" As intelligent as he wasn't, he understood that something bad was going on, and he didn't need to be psychic to know what Grovyle was thinking. However, he didn't understand, and kept to himself, changing his constant repeating of his name to a soft humming, which seemed enchanted somehow.

Sam ran, trying to catch up with the others. She had to hold a leaf up to her eye at the same time. Then she had to keep replacing leaves since the other leaf got covered in blood. "Hey, guys, can somebody help me out?" she pleaded.

Clefairy turned around to the sound of someone in trouble.
"Don't worry. I'm coming to help you."
Grovyle also turned around seeing his prisoners stopping.
"What do you think you're doing! We don't have much time before it's too la-"
Grovyle stopped short fearing he had said too much.
"Where exactly are we going anyways?" One of the smaller Pokemon chirped in.
"That is of no concern to you."
He began walking again.

Stupid, stupid, stupid! Look what you've done!
Hey they don't know anything yet.
Well it better stay that way or I won't help you at the shrine.

The other Pokemon were looking at Grovyle puzzled. Was he arguing with himself. It certainly appeared so.

Sam smiled at the generous Clefairy. "Thank you, it's just this scar, it's bleeding and I need a way to block it."

Vires fluttered in the far back, following at a distance. He wasn't feeling very social at the moment.

Snorlax, as clumsy as he is, fell onto Grovyle and saw something fall to the ground, and thought "What was that, I could swear I saw something fall out of Grovyle's hand." and got up, off the squished grovyle.

Aimi watched Ardos as he squished Grovyle and sighed, not trying to stand out.

OOC: Bugaboo99909 please try not to control how things happen. I'll play as Grovyle and say if something happens. Thanks in advance.

Grovyle hastily snatched the thin roll of parchment. Looking around he saw the other Pokemon distracted.

No one saw it. They'd think it's just a map anyway.

Grovyle then saw Snorlax and started any him.
"Whats your problem you fat-bellied monster."
Grovyle realised he didn't stand a chance but the Pokemon seemed dimwitted and slow.

Several minutes later the group of Pokemon had reached the core of the forest. A large wooden shrine stood in front of them.
"Excellent," Grovyle exclaimed.

[OOC: Sorry about controlling Grovyle.]

Snorlax went up to grovyle, and said "whats up with you today, got up on the wrong side of bed. And did I see something fall out of your hands there?"

Wow, for a Snorlax, that one sure is fast. Sam thought, soothing her eye.

OOC: no problem 8)

Grovyle lashed around and looked at the Snorlax.
"Have you got a problem with that? he said baring his teeth.
Save it. You must conserve your energy.
"Now folks, we have arrived!"
They walked into a clearing full of many exotic plants and trees. Grovyle grabbed Clefairy and cut her skin with his blade so that a trickle of blood fell into a stone tablet on the floor.
"Ouch! What was that f-"
"SILENCE," a deep voice bellowed from somewhere ahead in the trees.
The Pokemon looked up scared. Grovyle darted forward.
"Master I have brought you those that you sought..."

Aimi dived for cover and watched. ''What... What was that?'' She whispered.
