Thread: PMD: The Academy for Developing Rescue Teams (ADRT)

One day, a passing-by Pelipper delivers a beautifully hand-made letter, addressed to you. Curious, you open the letter. It says:

Congratulations, {Name},

You have been graciously accepted into the Academy for Developing Rescue Teams (ADRT). We have watched you, and we find your ambitions and qualities desirable for our Academy. We hope that you will accept this invitation, and join us at ADRT! If you choose to accept our offer, please email us a conformation letter, so we may create a class schedule for you.

As you read the letter, you grow more and more excited. You won’t let this great opportunity pass by. Rushing over to your computer, you send ADRT the conformation email that they ask for, and start to pack.

Rules

1. Limited Profanity

2. Try to avoid excessive one-liners.

3. OOC (Out of Character) posts are allowed.

4. Avoid Godmodding, unless it is a character created by yourself.

5. Try and make at least one post per week.

6. Legendaries and Shinies are allowed, but can’t have extreme, all-powerful attacks. Uber legendaries usually aren't allowed, but on this I may be flexible.

7. One Pokémon is allowed per player, but this rule is flexible.

8. Please use common sense. If something doesn't feel right, don't do it.

Manna swam around his underwater cave, packing all sorts of necessities into a basket.

"Let's see," he said. "Blue Gummies, Oran Berries, Max Elixers, Big Apples..."

Upon finishing, Manna swam out of his cave and up to the surface of the water anxiously, floating along and moving the currents to send him towards land.

"Whew, this'll be fun," Manna said happily, noticing a school of Remoraid swim just feet under him. "I can't wait to go to the Rescue Team Academy!"

A little Riolu shyly walked through the gates looking around around his new surroundings.

"Wow I'm kinda nervous."

He started walking towards the building.

Manna arrived at a shore, climbing up onto dry land for the first time since finding the letter from Pelliper.

"Whew," he said, walking clumsily along the beach. "I forgot how annoying it is to have to walk on land. I know!"

Manna used Rain Dance, and rain flooded the ground, letting Manna move more quickly to the gates of the Academy, which he entered nervously.

Sy sheltered under the tree from the rain.

"Wow where did this downpour come from?"

Sy then saw Manna.

"Oh that must be one of my classmates."

Synthesis glanced at his letter again, excitedly. "I've been accepted into the Rescue Team Academy!" he thought excitedly. As he walked closer, he saw the entrance in the distance.

Sy shyly walked up to Manna.

"Erm hi...I'm Symon but everyone calls me Sy. It's nice to meet you."

Sy shuffled his feet nervously. He was always shy around strangers.

"Hi!" Manna said happily, before using Tail Glow. "I'm Manna!"

Manna used Bubblebeam, sending multicolored bubbles into the air.

Sy looked up in amazement.

"Oh wow that's so cool!"

Sy held one of the bubbles and sees his reflection and starts making faces at it.

Nearing the entrance, Synthesis noticed two more Pokémon, a Riolu and a Manaphy. "Hello there!" he called to them.

Sy looked up and looked alittle shy again.

"Oh hi I'm Sy it's nice to meet you."

Sy smiled shyly.

"Don't be shy!" Synthesis told Sy. "We're a very friendly group. I read about ADRT on the internet, and sociability is a large factor of acceptance."

Pom had received her letter for ADRT earlier that morning, and had set off without another thought, only just remembering to pack her rucksack at the last second. The pink Aipom was now happily swinging from tree to tree by the hand on her tail. The lei on her tail slid up and down as she flipped in the air.

Pom squealed excitedly as the academy came into sight, and hung from a tree to speak to three Pokemon who had gathered below the tree.

'Hi guys! Do you go to ADRT too?' Pom asked, swinging upside-down.

Sy looked up at Pom.

"Oh err hi yes we are. I'm Sy nice to meet you."

Sy rubbed his arm nervously but smiled.

'Nice to meet you too! I'm Pom!' Pom released her grip and landed on the ground with a gentle thud.
