Thread: PMD ~ Zoroark Strikes!

Aqua and Miki walked over. "Hey guys, how have you been?" asked Aqua, smiling.

Miki smiled at her old friends. "Hope people haven't been too hard on you, all things concidered." she said, forgetting to stand down wind, which caused the wind to blow her nasty smell at the trio.

*Earlier in the morning* Char, Surf, and Bulba awoke on a beautiful morning. Surf went out to check the Mail. As he returned inside, he told his comrades, "Look at this interesting letter."

Team Trump Card,
Hello there. As you already know, Zoroark and his minions have already stolen the Mystery Part, and are planning on stealing many more valuable items. This is a serious matter on our hands and we need all the help we can get. I am requesting that you, Team Isshu, come to Marji City's town square for a meeting on this topic. We will discuss our plan of action against Zoroark. Please meet in town square early this morning, as soon as possible. Please, we need your help and ultimate cooperation.

Later, Team Trump Card arrived in the square. "Hello, everyone!" the three chorused. "I'm really excited about joining on this important mission!", said Char. "What exactly is the mission?" asked Bulba.

Among the branches of a dense forest, a small, wooden cottage was planted between the nodes of a tree. Sounds of bumping, crashing, and screaming were coming from it.

"Hi-yah!" Someone shouted, as a small, wooden creature was pounding on a flour-bag dummy. "Now for a Razor Leaf!" The humanoid grabbed the leaf that was planted on his head and swiftly tossed it at the dummy, ripping it across the top. The wooden creature let out a bold laugh. "Ha-ha! Do I have it made, or what!?"

This was Litengu, the Nuzleaf, a Pokemon known for being mischeivous and agile. Litengu loves getting up early in the morning at six to train inside his tree house, and he would continue it for the next thee hours straight. Of course, this rowdiness tends to come at the expense of others, namely his roomate, a blue Kirlia, who is struggling to get some sleep. The Kirlia rose from her bunk bed and gave a nasty look at Litengu.

"Leh... Litengu!" She mumbled, just waking up. "How many times do I have to tell you to keep it down? I don't train as early as you do, I can't even stand up as early as you, either!" Litengu turned his head to glanced at the Kirlia from behind. He smirked and shook his head. "You see, Luna?" he started. "This is why you are weaker than me. You gotta build up your muscles!" He turned around and started flexing his pecs. "If you trained like the way I do, you wouldn't be so whiny as you are!" The Kirlia, Luna, rose from her bed furiously. "Whiny!? I've told you for the hundreth time! My power does not come from physical strength, I'm a physic!" she snapped, with a pound against her bed. Disregarding Luna's current feelings, Litengu laughed. "Yeah, that's why we Dark types are better than you! We have no weakness!" He began to laugh teasingly at Luna. Infuriated by his bullying, Luna got out of her bed entirely and grabbed Litengu by his nose. This made him start to react in a frustrated manner. "Ow! Hey! Stop it! Let go of my nose!" Luna instead tightened her grip on the Nuzleaf's long, pointed nose.
"OOOOW! Okay! Okay! I'm sorry! I'm sorry! Please lemme' go I won't talk about you again! OOOOOOW!" Finally, Luna let go of Litengu's nose, leaving him kneeling on the floor holding it. She let out a taunting giggle and brushed her long hair aside. "You see, Litengu? Everyone has a weakness," she teased. Litengu looked up at her and growled.

As soon as his nose began to feel better, Litengu got back up. "Geez," he said to Luna. "You just have to hit me where it hurts the most, don't you?" Luna giggled in a girlish way and nodded, her mood was actually lifted after grabbing Litengu's nose. "Only when you deserve it, of course," she replied in a cutesy manner. Litengu let out a grunt, and stroked his nose a little bit. "Well anyway, now that your up, we can train together." Luna nodded in agreement, but then something else came to mind. "By they way," she started. "Did you get the mail today?" Litengu gave her a puzzled look. "... You know it's your turn, its' been your turn for the past... Oh I dunno... three weeks!?" Litengu pouted and folded his arms in reply. "Come on! You know I have better things to do than do that!" Luna stood upright in a scolding manner. "You have to help keep this house up too, you know! So don't call me a whiner when you keep making excuses yourself!" Litengu looked up at Luna and puffed, like rude child. "Fine, I'll go get the mail!" He quickly turned away and headed out of the house.

"Stupid... Stupid chores!" He continuously muttered as he was walking towards his mailbox. He checked inside the box to find nothing more but a single letter. However, the stamp that was planted of this letter was unique, specifically, it signified the Pokemon Rescue Team. Litengu grew excited. "Hey Luna!" he shouted from outside the treehouse. Luna was wondering why Litengu was so excited, until she took notice of the stamp as well. "Oh boy! I hope we get a new mission!" Litengu cheered. "Let's read it together, Luna!"

The letter called for team Rising Sun, the team Litengu controlled consisting of himself and Luna, to meet with Alakazam at Marji City to discuss how to counter the crimes of Zoroark and his minions. The sound of fighting Zoroark took Luna by great surprise, but Litengu didn't feel affected, and cheered. "We're gonna have another chance, Luna!" Litengu told her excitedly. "We're gonna have a new mission!" He laughed historically and ran outside of the treehouse, pointing at the sun between the trees. "Today, we'll show the world that our past rescue mission was simply a fluke! Today, we will show the world the true power of Team Rising Sun, as we protect the weak from the darkness, and spread our rising light!" Luna just stared blankly at Litengu from behind, wondering where in the world he got that from. "Hehe... Anyway, we should get going to Marji City, grab my hand so we can teleport there." Litengu swiftly nudged himself away. "No way!" He leaped from his treehouse onto the forest floor. "That old man called us to do something about Zoroark! Let's prove how tough we are by running to Marji City instead!" He began to kneel down to prepare for a sprint. "What!?" Luna shouted in reply. Litengu smirked. "... In addition, the last one to get there is doing dishes tonight!" With that, he sprinted through the forest at the speed of a rabbit. "Wait! Litengu!" Luna called out. "You never do the dishes, and you know I can't run as fast you! Oh... LITENGU!" She began to ran steadly in attempt to keep up with Litengu, both headed out of the forest and into Marji City.

The three Zoura stepped aside to escape the stench.
"You might want to put yuor tail down," Cunning said. "Anyways, we've been doing fine, but havn't really been able to go into town for a while."

Miki blushed. "Oops!" she said, standing downwind. "I'm sorry, I forgot."

"It's ok Miki." said Aqua. "They know." she said. "Anyway...Looks like Zororak and the Zoura working with him are still making a bad name for your species, shame."

"Meh," Deceit said. "Never cared much for those two."

Meanwhile, in Zoroark's hideout:
Death paced the hideout, eager to know what his boss was planning. Suddenly, a Gengar appeared next to him, chuckling.
"Get ready, twerp," he said. "I think Zoroark's planning another attack soon."

"So, you guys had good missions lately?" asked Flower, smiling. "I mean if they're making your species seem bad, the only thing to do is make it look good again!"

Finally arriving to the city, Litengu darted through the streets and arrived at the town square, where he saw other pokemon teams conversing with one another. He took a moment to catch his breath, then he stood upright and flicked the leaf attached to his head out of the way.

"'Sup guys! I bet you are all the teams the old geezer called for, right?" He glanced at the surrounding pokemon. "I ain't late or nuthin', aren't I?"

Off a distance, Luna was running limply towards the town square. Her hair was rather disheveled and she was breathing hoarsely. As soon as she reunited with Litengu, she collapsed onto the ground to catch her breath. "Huh... Huh... My heart!"

Litengu turned his attention to Luna and laughed. "You see, Luna? If you just exercised the way I do, you wouldn't be so out of breath! Now guess who's doing tonight's dishes!" He continued to laugh teasingly, until suddenly Luna rose up a little. She called to Litengu. "H-Hey Litengu, can you come here?" Grinning, Litengu boldly approached her "Yeah, what's the matter? Too tired to--" Just then, Luna slapped Litengu in the face hard enough to make him fall on the ground. "Jerk!" Luna cried out. She took notice of the other teams and stood up, brushing dirt off of her skirt. "Hehe, Hello!" she greeted. "I'm sorry you guys had to see that." Litengu got up, stroking the area where he was hit.

Miju and her teammates kept walking through the huge crowd, in hopes to see Alakazam, the town's elder, and Mayor. "Oh, look! Look look look!" Kabu shouted excitingly. "Look! I see Alakazam, over there!" Kabu was now running in circles around Miju and Jata.

"Calm down!" Jata angrily shouted. He put his foot out, trying to trip Kabu. He was successful in doing so.

"Owwwwwww!" Kabu whined. He got up, and calmed down. "What was that for?"

"For being annoying. Just wait, I think Alakazam's going to start talking." Jata crossed his arms and waited.

Alakazam cleared his throat, and got ready to begin talking. But, he needed everyone's attention, which is why there was an Exploud right next to him. "EVERYBODY!!! QUIET NOW!! ALAKAZAM MUST SPEAK!" The Exploud shouted. His yell was heard throughout Town square, and surely got everyone to stop talking, and pay attention. He also made all their ears hurt.

"Now that I have your complete attention," Alakazam began, "we must discuss the matter of Zoroark and his plan to take over the world. He has already completed one step - stealing the Mystery Part. This highly valuable item gives anyone control over specific Legendary pokemon. This could be very dangerous for ANY rescue team, since Legendary pokemon are very powerful, and under Zoroark's control, the world is in grave danger. We suspect that Zoroark's next move is to steal the Secret Slab, and item that gives control over MORE Legendary pokemon. With those two items in his possesstion... who knows what he can acomplish..." Alakazam hesitated to go on.

The crowd gasped, and mutered, and began worrying. But Alakazam continued his speech. "BUT, we have gathered here, not to let Zoroark continue his evil, but to put a stop to it!" Alakazam exclaimed. The crowd began cheering.

"QUIET!" Exploud screamed.

"Thank you, Exploud. Now, how do we stop him, you ask? It's not very simple, but we must devise a plan. Zoroark is supposedly going to attempt to steal the Secret Slab next, which is located in the Mirage Ruins. The Mirage Ruins are hidden by a dense desert, south of Marji City. In the heart of the desert, lies the Secret Slab. Now, to get to the Secret Slab is extremely difficult, not only because it's in a desert, but also because the ruins in that desert are old, and easily break. Also because there is a very dense sandstorm most of the time. I suggest that we go into the Mirage Ruins and retreive the Secret Slab before Zoroark. We'll get back to that topic later." Alakazam ended the topic on Secret Slab. "Now, we also know that Zoroark has the Mystery Part in his possesstion, so we also need to take that away from him. That will be very difficult to do. A team with spy skills is neccessary. We do not know anything else about Zoroark's plan, so we also need to gather information, like - Where is his base of operation? What other items does he plan on taking? What Legendary pokemon does he have control of? - and so on. So, lets sum this all up." Alakazam began thinking of how to explain the plan more clearly.

"Ok," he began, "we need to get to the Mirage Ruins and retreive the Secret Slab. For this, we need a team that can easily resist Sandstorms and falling ruins, which is very few of you. We also need a team that can travel lond distance in extreme heat. But, we need to get this done. If we do not have a team that can handle these conditions, we will randomly choose, and equip that team with items and food that are neccessary."

Alakazam cleared his throat once more. "We also SEVERAL teams to explore different areas where we suspect Zoroark's Base to be located. These places include: Shadow Cave, Spirit Mountain, Somber Cavern, and Dusk Meadows. We will be randomly selecting 1 or more teams to explore these areas. Once we find Zoroark's base, we will send a team to investigate and gather as much information as possible. This is VERY risky, so a team with great spying skills is neccessary. Also, whoever goes on the spying mission will also have to try their best to steal back the mystery part. That is all we can do for now." Alakazam finished.

"Now, any volunteers for the Mirage Ruins mission, or the spying mission?" Alakazam asked.

OOC: Please read this all! It's kinda important. After you get assigned a mission, you will meet with Alakazam, and he will give you advice and the items you need for the mission.

Aqua stopped Flower from rashly volenteering. "No, we're not the best for that mission." she said. "I can't bare intense heat for very long, I'll dehydrate." she explained.

"Still...I hope we get to help somehow." said Miki, watching Alakazam. "Shadow Cave would be a good idea. Its moist, dark, and musty so they wouldn't smell me easily." she said. But he said that'd be random, so they couldn't volenteer for that.

After the two listened to the speech intently, Litengu and Luna decided to converse with each other on what mission to take.

"I think we should take the Mirage Ruins mission! A little sand and heat doesn't harm me!" Litengu suggested confidently.

"...And what about me?" asked Luna rhetorically. "Litengu, I shouldn't have to remind you that we are a team, right? Think about other people for once!" Litengu sighed and began to think deeply. "Uhh... What if you used your Light Screen or something? To shield yourself from the sandstorm?"

"Hmm... That actually might work," Luna replied

"...And once we get to the ruins, I can break anything that falls on us with... Uh... Pound!"

"Litengu, neither Pound nor Razor Leaf are substantial enough moves to help you break stone. Maybe we should--"

"Wait! You know how to teleport, right? You can just teleport whenever something large tries to fall on us!"

"But Teleport works a little randomly. I can only truly control it if I've seen the place we were before, otherwise it might even lead us to something even more dangerous!"

"Gah!" Litengu stomped his feet. "Why should I ever pass the chance of facing Zoroark myself!? I think you are just worrying too much, Luna!"

"Will you stop acting like a child!?" Luna tensely replied. "We need to recognize our weaknesses and work around them, not try to exploit them!"

Litengu calmed down a little bit. While he would hate to admit it openly, Luna was right and he might not be ready for such a task. He began thinking of other possibilities. "Okay... What do you think about the Spy Mission?" Litengu asked. Luna took a moment to think about it. "I don't think we'd be cut out for that, either. As you know, I'm not that agile in spite of my teleporting abilities, and you... You would make a terrible spy."

"What!?" Litengu exclaimed. "How would I make a bad spy? I am cool enough to be one, right?" Luna shook her head. "No! What are you thinking? It's the fact that you like to be loud and rowdy, and that's precisely what spies should not do!"

"Oh, come on!" Litengu whined. "I can be all secrety and spooky if I want to be!" Luna shook her head once again. "No... You wouldn't. For as long as I've known you, you wouldn't."

Litengu let out a growl, and stubbornly faced away and folded his arms. "Well I'm NOT going to go on those stupid search missions! They seem so low rank!"

"But Litengu, we are a low rank team."

"Doesn't mean we should do pussy missions!"

"We won't be 'pussies' for taking these missions. Geez, Litengu! The more small missions we do, the better prepared we will be for the big ones!"

"Oh yeah, like I'll gain experience by looking for something!"

"Every amount of work benefits. You told me this yourself, remember?"

Litengu lowered his head, as not to verbally admit she is right. "... Besides," Luna continued. "Every mission that Alakazam is offering is going to extremely helpful for the fight against Zoroark, the search missions are no exception. Once we figure out where Zoroark's forces are, we would be a step ahead of them!"

Litengu paused for a little while. He knew that what Luna was telling him was true, and that the mission to locate Zoroark's base might be the best for him considering his and Luna's weaknesses, and he did not want more humiliation after the Caterpie rescue mission, which while he and Luna sucessfully kept everyone safe, the eggs of the Caterpie were abandoned and destroyed, infuriating the refugees even though they were still alive.

"Alright..." Litengu agreed. "We'll ask the old geezer about the scouting missions, but I ain't gonna like it!" The two shook each other's hands in agreement. "I'm glad you thought about this, Litengu, I really am." Luna said softly to him, smiling. "By the way, I really hope you don't call Alakazam 'old geezer' when we speak to him!" The two waited for Alakazam to call for them about the search mission.

Zaar waited on an alcove watching over the entrance to the Mirage Ruins, his red eyescontaining psychopathic anticipation, an evil grin on his face...

"Maybebeing a Pokemon isn't as terrible as I originally thought..." he said within his thoughts, as he waited for the first idiot to walk in...

"I don't think that any of these missions suit our team." Miju spoke to her team. "Except maybe the search missions. I hope we get picked for the search mission!"

"We probably won't..." Jata said, considering their luck.

"No volunteers?" Alakazam said. "If anyone would like to volunteer, please speak now!"

OOC: Gotta sleep nowz! I'm giving the people who aren't online a chance to volunteer, so. Also, don't volunteer on a search mission please. Btw, the base is located in the Somber Cavern, so if you get picked for that place, be expecting to see Zoroark!

OOC: I have to go to sleep, too, and I have school in the morning here in Washington, so try not to start without me!

Aqua heard Litengu and Luna talked and walked over. "Hey guys...look, I don't think ether of you are close to being ready for Zoroark." she said.

Miki looked at them. "Not to degrade your team but...we've fought Zoroark before, and..."

Flower, serious face, nodded. "We barely made it out with our lives, as well as the lives of our friends." she said. "That's were we got these scars." she said, all three showing their scars.
