"Alright. Thanks. Peace." Eliot says, going back inside the school for knitting club.

"Now, if I were a thunderbird, where would I be?" Artemis said, looking at the horizon for any clues. She saw dark storm clouds in the distance. "Looks like a storm's coming. He's acting up." She muttered.

Jason and Aoi were by the shopping district after Aoi decided to go buy some clothes. Jason was waiting outside as he heard a screech what's that?" he turned to his right before seeing a flash fly be at a great speed, enough to lift even people away and shatter glass as everyone was taken aback. Jason got up. "Is that, a Magi Creature?" he asked himself as he saw the Thunderbird spread its wings and fly at Jason.

"Shit, why do I always speak up," Jason turned around and began running but the bird was too fast and lifted him up before firing various shockwaves at him.

"Magi Fuin Dai! Revolvius Accudus!" Artemis yelled, creating a seal to trap the Thunderbird and them, then fired a card-shaped barrier appeared in front of Jason to block the attack, as well as hitting the Thunderbird as well.

The thunderbird howled as it flew back a little, it bleeding from the wound caused by the attack. "Thanks," Jason turned to Artemis while panting. "And for the record, it came here on its own I didn't chase it this time."

"Yes we've realized that," Kleus pointed out, getting off from Artemis's shoulders. "Watch out for its speed and electric abilities Artemis." he instructed.

"Roger." Artemis said, taking out her book and scrolled through it, looking for a good spell to ground this bird.

The Thunderbird flew around and began diving towards Artemis, surrounding itself with electricity while doing so. "Incoming." Jason pointed out.

"Whoa!" She yelled, rolling out of the way, though her foot got hit. She moaned in pain as she held her right foot in pain. "Relegato Negatos!" She yelled, stabbing her wand into the ground to made hundreds of little spikes poke out of the ground and started to siphon off energy from the Thunderbird.

The Thunderbird screeched while feeling its energy been drained. "What kind of spell is that?" Jason gasped while looking at the Thunderbird who tried to fly away.

"The Lightning Rod Charm, and it's a rather recent one, spanning since the invention of the lightning rod. It draws away excessive amounts of lightning or electricity from a source and neutralizes it o ce it gets into the ground. Particularly useful against Thunderbirds such as this." She explained.

"I can see that," Jason nodded before seeing the bird screech one last time as it managed to get away and began flying. However it didn't get far before an arrow like beam pierced through it. Jason looked up above to see a teenager holding five white cards on his hands he was wearing a white t-shirt along with a jacket to match and a pair of blue jeans, he also had long white hair that went to the waist. "Who's that?"

"A card Mage," Kleus pointed out as the mage jumped to the floor.

"Card Mage?" Artemis asked, looking at Klaus with confusion as the new player stepped into the ring.

"Weren't you paying attention when I was teaching you?" Kleus asked her with a raised eyebrow. "A Card Mage is a type of Mage that uses magic, but unlike normal ones he processes his magical energy to different spell cards like the ones he's holding."

"So, it's in relation to card tricks," Jason pointed out looking at the Card Mage that looked over at Artemis.

"So you're the Mage that's been taking out the Magi Creatures for us," he said holding out a card. "Good, because my training's been going a little off since you showed up."

"I don't know if I should take that as a compliment or not." Artemis said at the Card Mage, on high alert. Simply put, there are some Mages out there with their own agenda that often involves evil things. So, she's just highly suspicious of this Mage.

"The name Kohta by the way," the Card Mage spoke as he raised the withe card creating a phoenix shaped flame that headed straight for Artemis before spreading around as he jumped.

"Wait a card did that!?" Jason exclaimed.
