"Shoot a pistol there only one way out of it" as Logan pulled out his knife anticipating the first move.
As she neared the station, her heart pounded in her chest. She eventually reached there... and crept in... and called out:
"I am warning you, I am armed... come out with your hands up!" She yelled
"Well, lets see who lives another day" as I pounced on her.
"what the hell?!" Mila was caught off guard at the intruder's assault, and tried to dive out of the way and reach for a weapon
At this point, Amelia was driving past, and noticed the fighting. Frustrated with them, she turned on the lights and blipped the siren. She pulled over and got out. "Guys, knock it off! You guys can't get along for two seconds, and we're supposed be focusing on the problem at hand. After the blackout you can do something about him."
"Saved by the bell" I said as I ran off into the darkness.
And suddenly...
The power went out, it was another blackout, it was a short one this time, but when the power came back on, Adrian Wilks was stuck to the door of the police station, a javelin was jammed directly through his neck, he was missing both of is thumbs and patch's of his skin were missing.
Evidence:
The finger prints on the Javelin
The kitchen knife that is stuck in Adrian's left eye.
And a bloody lenses cap.
Time to gather the evidence at the scene and analyze it, this may be the only chance you get, Heh..
Not long afterwards, Amelia got a message on her radio about it. She cursed. "Well, I guess we've found our victim," she said to Mila, "Maybe it'll get the rest of the force to get off their asses and do something about it. Come on, you can come with me to the station." They headed off into the night, siren blaring.
Rei woke up to the sound of a siren blaring. He got out of his basement, and saw all his digital clocks were flashing 88:88, which they only did during a blackout. A feeling of dread crept through Rei. The sirens...the blackout...the rumour of mass suicides...Rei grabbed his ring, put on his coat, unlocked the warehouse, and started ran onto the street, hoping the police car would stop. The car stopped, and Rei thought he could see two people in the car.
"Ss.. Sure..." Mila sat in shocked silence as they drove away
Amelia and Mila were in the car that pulled up in front of Rei. Amelia opened her window. "Inconveniently for you, it was at the police station tonight," she yelled above the siren, "Good luck!" She closed the window and went past Rei, continuing on to the station.
"What I better go hide in the bush and wait till it's over" I said "Can't draw to much on myself.
Meanwhile, at a near by asylum...
The warden, Richard Hatchet and a group of security guards were checking to see of any inmates escaped during the blackout "Now, we still have to check on... him." The warden sighed, for the most dangerous inmate in the asylum, was also his least favorite.
12 minutes later...
The warden walked up to a ballistic glass box, it was the size of a living room "Hello, Sindbad." The warden groaned "Greetings, Richard..." The Sindbad replied as he walked out from the shadows "Now, why would the warden visit me, The most dangerous psychopath in the state, In a time like this?" Sindbad asked as he brushed some dust off of the shoulder of his dark blue jump suit "We checking to see-" "-If I had escaped?" Sindbad cut off the warden "Oh, Richard, Richard, Richard..... If I were to escape, the first person I'd tell... Would be you......" Sindbad laughed as the warden staggered his way towards the exit "Oh, and by the way, word has it... Adrian Wilks was slain by the killer." Sindbad announced.
By the time Amelia and Mila got to the police station, they had already put up the yellow tape and were investigating. Now that they were there, it was suddenly a much more serious matter to Amelia. "Well," she said, "Shit just got real." She parked, and went and greeted the man overseeing the investigation.
"Just so you know, even though you're an officer, you're not allowed onto the crime scene," he said.
"Well, I'm fine with that. Protocol, I know," Amelia replied, "But since I'm one of the two or so people who bothered to get up off our asses and investigate on our own, I'd say we deserve at least some information."
"Agreed... even a little bit of information would be extremely helpful"
