Cindy was lying down on her bed, bored out of her mind. Night was already upon the school, and since there was no classes being held, she didn't have to stay in her human form. Truthfully, she liked her natural form because the more she looked at herself in it, the better she thought she looked each time. It was a self confidence boost, which isn't too useful, considering that she's often in Human form. Cindy got off of the bed, and allowed her human form to disappear in fire.
First, her hair suddenly ignited in green flames, and the flames spread down to her head, then neck, shoulders, torso, and everything else until it reached down to her toes. The human flesh was being burnt off. Years ago, this would have been the most painful thing to ever experience, but now that she has done it enough, the Changeling felt nothing. All that was left of her old skin were piles of ashes lying in a circle around her feet. Her new skin was a dark blue-gray, with a heart shaped face and pointed elf-like ears. She was the same height as before, but she was sickly thin, unlike her Human form. She was skinny enough to be mistaken for an anorexic. Her hair was now pure white, and her dark red eyes had no pupils or scleroses.
"Well, hopefully I can transform faster in the morning when classes start." Cindy said to herself.
