Appearance: James stands at a medium of 5’10”, which is a moderate stature, and weighing around 150 pounds, he can be considered fit as he swims regularly. His hair is around an inch long and colored brown, although it can appear somewhat copper under the light of the Sun. It’s usually ruffled around, but it’s usually in the same forward fashion. His eyes are colored hazel; therefore his irises are, from the inside out, an arrangement of brown, yellow, orange and green tones. His skin is Caucasian, but he enjoys swimming, so his torso, arms and legs have a tanned tint to them.
His outfit for his teachings is a button up shirt with either a vest or a blazer, accompanied by corduroy pants with a belt that match his shirt, and moccasins for shoes.
When he’s out with friends, or anywhere really, he’s seen with a long-sleeved sweater with a hoodie which he enjoys thoroughly. Paired with dark-colored jeans and a pair of running sneakers, he could pass for a college graduate anyday.
Personality: From a distant, James appears to be a relaxed, down-to-Earth person, and this description fits him nicely as his way of life. He considers himself a realist, knowing that, even though things happen for a reason, they still happened, and people have to make do with what they have. From an intimate perspective, James can be considered a mischievous character, fun to be around with as he can have fun with whatever he’s handed. On the other hand, when things get serious, James surely follows. He concentrates on the matter at hand, using all his knowledge to solve a given problem. Sadly, he can’t handle much pressure, and when under said pressure, turning sour and mean to those around him whenever he can’t get things to go as he wishes them to be. He doesn’t realize this mannerism of his until calm, so his control over his attitude is rarely there, being dependent on the atmosphere around him.
James also suffers from a mild case of OCD ever since he was a child. Due to this he is often seen organizing shelves, organizing books in a certain order, or just simply cleaning around his classroom. Since he got his first Pokémon, he has subconsciously named them in alphabetical order, not realizing this until after he was all grown up. He’s continued this fashion so he can keep a peace of mind, and because James finds it to be an interesting way to differentiate his partners.

History: James grew up in the busy city of Jubilife in Sinnoh. His childhood was pretty normal, aside from the fact that he was diagnosed with OCD at the age of 4. This proved to be a difficult way of life for him, seeing as how his mother, who worked at a diner as a waitress, was always working around the home with different projects, therefore different things were always scattered around the house. James grew nervous around the messy house, so he was always locked up in his room, the one place where he could have things as he wished.
By his ten years of age, he was sent to a boarding school, paid by the government. There, he was always kept fed and grew plentiful in the ways of the teachings. For his fourteenth birthday, he received a gift from his father, who was always away from home due to his researching of recently discovered Pokémon. The gift, a pokéball, had inside a small pig-like Pokémon, whom he named Ardor. The Tepig and he grew up together, until James finally graduated and ready to take the first towards his career: Teaching.
Now a recently-graduated Biology professor, James applied to the Newfound Academy, and after a wait which seemed like decades, he was finally accepted.

Extra: James was diagnosed with OCD (Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder), which means that he has the urge to check things more than the needed amount of times, make sure everything’s clean and tidy, and organize everything possible, between other small tidbits and habits he could muster. Aside from this, he is also anosmic, which means he can’t smell from birth, similar to blindness or the likes. He didn’t feel like getting it checked nor fixed, since there’s no doubt about it and he doesn’t feel like he’s missing much.

Appearance: Severin has long, black bangs framing his face. He has slightly small, intimidating eyes, colored gray. His skin is a bit pale, and built with slight muscle tones. He's doesn't LOOK athletic, but can finish the job in gym class. His wardrobe consists of the colors gray, black, purple and red. Button up shirts with a tie are the norm for him, worn semi-casually. But, it's mostly a purple/red shirt with a black tie. He wears two diamond shaped earrings, similar to the diamonds on the back of a Seviper. Also, he wears two rings, one on each middle finger. They are etched with a Seviper across each one. Dark jeans are always part of his attire, along with black shoes. Severin has a habit of rolling his sleeves, and always wearing pants, regardless of temperature. The only exception is when it's cold, that's when he wears his black coat.
Personality: Severin always enjoyed seeing Poison-type Pokemon in the books his mother would show him. After being taught about Pokemon through texts his mother would get him, both on his birthday and Xmas, Severin just always had an attachment to Poison-type Pokemon, as well as attacks. Severin generally doesn't get along with people well, mostly because of his childhood friend betraying and leaving him. He can be very vengeful of made a fool of, or threatened. Severin always gets back at someone when someone does such to him, or to his mother. And when he pots, he plots. Severin usually looks at some of the books his mother gave him in his younger years. Also, Severin hasa thing for knives and daggers. He enjoys stories of the dark and macabre.
History: Severin, having been born to a divorced couple and absent father soon afterwards, had an early start into negative views on the world. He was only taught about how his mother saw the world, and much about Pokemon. Severin took to his studies seriously, as his mother loved and cared for him, knowing she was doing her best despite being an only mother. His mother, Sevreen, helped nurture his anger and spite, and shaped him into what he was destined to be. A model son, in her eyes. And despite that, he didn't care. He knew the truth behind his father. Sevreen and Severin's father had him at a young age, and the father promised to care for her, while secretly stealing and cheating her. As soon as she found out, she demanded he left and never be known to his son once he was born. Sevreen was a strong, confident woman with great charisma, and Severin looked up to be like her. She, like Severin, dressed in dark clothing. One day, Sevreen had learned of the Newfound Academy, and sent a letter to this academy in hopes he would be accepted, as she wanted only the best for him. Severin loves his mother, and cares for her as much as he can.

Extra: Severin loves serpentine pokemon, and of course, Poison-type Pokemon. Severin also dabbled in sword-play a couple of years ago, and hasa bit of collection of daggers and knives. He enjoys reading about the disturbing and the macabre, and even writes every now and again. After hearing about powerful Frontier Brains from local news, he wanted to be one of the most powerful Frontier Brains in Sinnoh.

Appearance: Shinn has long black straight colored hair that goes down to his neck, his hair is combed in a way so that both of his eyes are left visible while most of the hair on his front falls on his forehead. He has a pair of red coloured eyes and white coloured skin. He also has fit athletic built and wears a short sleeved grey coloured shirt with the words "Fallen" written in black letters on his chest. He wears a pair of blue jeans along with chains attached to the pockets. He wears a silver coloured seal around his neck.
Personality: Shinn is not your normal teacher. Even though he's in his mid twenties he is anything but a mature person towards other as he still does whatever he feels like he wants to do. Shinn's rebellious and isn't below making sarcastic comments about others without a care. He likes to have fun and is always relaxed around others, though he can get quite serious if he is pushed past his limit. He's got a lot of problems with showing his emotions, something that has prohibitted from getting along with other people at a more close level. He's also a bit of a playboy which coupled with his distant behaviour pretty much makes any long term relationship non existent.

History: Shinn was born in Celadon City to a family of three siblings. From a young age Shinn was always the rebelious one of his family and while he kept good relationships with his parents he was always adamant about following the orders that they gave him. Ever since he was young he had set as a goal to get out of his house and become a famous trainer that would show the world what he was really worth.
At the age of fourteen Shinn ran away from home so that he could go on his journey and it was here when he began to capture Pokemon and see the world. However, this didn't come without his share of trouble. Havin run out of money and food Shinn began to use his Pokemon to pickpocket food. He was eventually caught by the police and was sent back home where his parents really gave it to him. This didn't do much to get rid of Shinn's bad side though.
At the age of 21 after graduating College Shinn decided that he wanted to try to become a famous trainer once more. He was able to obtain all of the badges in Kanto but lost after only beating one member of the Elite 4. It was around this time that he found out about Newfound Academy. He decided that he would wait a while and keep training while also trying to teach others about his own experiences with Pokemon. When he first got to Newfound though he asked to be a Breeding teacher even though he knew nothing about Pokemon breeding causing Shinn to have to learn his own subject fast.
He's been teaching for a couple of years now and has started thinking about taking on the Elite 4 once more, however, whether he has taken a liking to the school or will leave remains to be seen.
