Thread: Nebula Academy: Search for the Chosen Ones (Start Up)

Dirk slid on his created ice back from Ellery. He'd seen him use this form once before, back in Heaven. He smiled, knowing that he had forced Ellery into desperation mode without taking more than a single blow. Dirk aimed carefully before beginning to fire rapid fire ice bullets at Ellery's wings.

The ice stopped before it could get close to Ellery only for it to be crushed into pieces. Ellery just stared at Dirk before vanishing. He reappeared in front of him and threw his hand up so that both he and Dirk would be thrown to the sky. "I've been training these last 6 months so that I could control this form." he stated as both of his arms became surrounded by wing. "I'm not going to give up so easily>"

"Pff, I did." Zephyr said, having seen the pictures that day. Lexie was not amused by any stretch of the word, and was cautious around any blocks of ice for a week after that.

"Looks like you're elated by it." Dante said, smiling as he looked at her face.

"It suprises me you know." Carey nodded her head as she lowered Melody gently. "How much time has passed, I mean you guys are so grown up now." she nodded her head and smiled over at Zephyr. "Compared to us you guys are still new but you've done a lot of things that we didn't do back when we were younger usually people say that kids these days have it easy but you guys have it hard it's a completely different world from when I was growing up."

"Of course I am." Daphne said brightly before leaning in and pecking Dante on the lips.

"I am your better Ellery." Dirk said bluntly. "You're at your final throw and I'm still holding my entire hand." He explained bluntly. "Now come. Let me show you the differences between you and I."

"Please do." Ellery snickered before throwing both of his arms forward, summoning multiple tornadoes that flew towards Dirk.

Dirk vanished out of the path of the tornadoes. He appeared behind Ellery and held up his right hand. Dark shadows appeared around Ellery's throat and Dirk clenched his hand into a fist and the shadows began to choke Ellery. "I am stronger, faster and tougher. I am more driven and better trained Ellery." Dirk told him bluntly. "You cannot win. You cannot come close to winning. There is no shame in admitting that I am your better."

"How can you be more driven." Ellery clenched onto the shadows before his wings spread out, causing the wind to become stronger as he vanished. He appeared behind Dirk and spun around to throw a kick at him. However before the kick could land he quickly had the leg pass over him before spinning around once more and fire a close range air slash at Dirk. "I'm not going to give up just with some silly excuses like that."

"It's simply a fact." Dirk said as he swatted the air slash away with a wave of his hand. "There is no shame in admitting it." He added before vanishing. He reappeared far below, standing on the water once more. "If you continue to insist on fighting, then come." Dirk told him.

Ellery glared at Dirk before he flew down towards him. He stopped in front of him before throwing his hand forward, causing sharp winds to wave and fly around Dirk.

Dirk sent a grin Ellery's way before diving under the water.

"There's no way you could move so fast!" Ellery yelled before slamming his leg onto the water, causing everything around him to be thrown onto the sky. He then put his arms together and looked at Dirk.

"You haven't seen anything yet." Dirk said from behind Ellery. "You think you are near my level." Dirk vanished once more, reappearing right in front of Ellery's face. "How wrong you are." Dirk vanished once more, appearing above Ellery now. "Just give up."

"You think I don't know." Ellery chuckled before coughing up blood as he stood up from the water. "I know that I'm no one compared to you Dirk." he said while looking up at him. "But I won't give up because I'm tired of it." he gritted his teeth and clenched his fist. "I promised that I wouldn't give up anymore even if the opponent was far ahead for me." he stated before throwing his leg forward and gathering wind around his hand.

"All my life I've had to live under the shadow of my siblings and my family, everyone of them they all have some kind of thing that defines them separately from me. Dirk you had a hard past that much is obvious and you're certainly stronger than me." the wind compressed itself into a sphere made out of wind and energy before Ellery clenched his fist onto it and began to absorb it. "I'm not giving up cause of some stupid code of honor or for pride,the reason I'm not giving up is because if I do then that would just single me out, it would just make me seem as if I hadn't tried my best, even if there's no hope for me to win I still want to put all my cards down cause if I can land even one good hit at least that'll be my mark."

Dirk sighed. He thought Ellery was being an idiot. But at least it was idiocy that he could respect. "Then show me your worst." He said blandly.
