Alanah had gone to Alistair's and Rose's apartment so that she could play with the kids once more. She knocked on the door eagerly and waited for them to open it.

"Only a mother can do a mother's job," Alice chuckled.

Rose opened the door to see Alanah standing there.

"Hello, Alanah," Rose replied, "Came here to see the babies?"

"That is true." Maisy nodded her head as she got up. "Well, we best be going." she smiled and waved at Jared and Alice.

"Yes." Alanah nodded her head and bowed politely. "If you allow it of course."

"Thank you both," Alice replied as she waved back.

"Sure," Rose replied, "Make yourself comfortable."

"Thanks." Alanah nodded her head as she sat down, she staring at Rose for a moment before smiling. "You know, I've only been here for a couple of months but I've really enjoyed this school."

"That's good," Rose replied as she brought Claudia and Gale over to Alanah. Amber was sleeping peacefully in Alistair's arms.

"Lady Rose." Alanah grabbed Claudia for a moment and smiled before looking at Gale. "What's love?"

Rose was completely taken aback by Alanah's sudden question. It wasn't something Rose could easily explain.

"Well..." she began, "It's quite complicated... Alistair, could you help me out here?"

"Um..." Alistair looked at Rose for a moment before he rested Amber down. "Well I guess, love is when you care for something or someone deeply." he pointed out. "When you're willing to do anything for that person and when you feel at home with them."

Alanah looked at Alistair for a moment and nodded. "Why do you ask?' Alistair asked with a raised eyebrow.

"Well, I'm kind of unfamiliar with the word." Alanah nodded her head simply.

Zephyr hummed to herself as she was feeding her child while watching an opera on the TV.

Dirk stood in the doorway watching Zephyr feed Melody. He smiled faintly. His work to ensure their happiness and safety was almost finished. And then he could be the man they deserved.

Desiree got up and walked into the room. "Hey handsome" Desiree commented walking to Ellery and kissing him.

"You know I have been thinking about what names we could call our baby, maybe something unique kinda like Kathany, how many Kathanys do you know?" Desiree said with a slight joke tone to it. "Not too absurd, I mean even Luna and Desiree are kinda out there. Do you have any ideas yourself yet?" Desiree asked.

Cooper was showing Luna and Eve around the Academy again, Eve looked happy in her stroller, her curious eyes looking around. "You know on one hand, I would love to go to this school if I was able to, but on another hand, I am a mortal and probably wouldn't fit in well, so it probably works out" Luna commented, Cooper smiled at her.

"Well, maybe Eve will in about thirteen years, assuming we are still in the area, afterall Eve's gonna wanna play with people like her, just to feel like she fits in" Cooper remarked, at that moment Amber and Kathany walked around the corner talking.

"Oh hey Coop.. and Luna I presume, I heard you had a baby" Amber greeted them before looking at the child. "Is that her?" Amber asked.

"Aww she's so cute, what's her name?" Kathany asked kneeling towards Eve which Luna tensed.

"Yes, it is, her name is Eve Lovejoy and this is Luna, as you two have met before" Cooper explained.

"This one likes me! Better then Rose's and Alistair's who probably don't trust me anyways" Kathany commented as Eve giggled at her making faces.

"Coop, what are they? Demons?" Luna asked, even if she was starting to accept it, she still needed time and to know what each of them were.

"Mages" Cooper simply replied, Luna immediately felt relaxed.

"Oh, well Mages I can do, in the mortal world as a child, you usually hear about how great Mages can be and what sort of power they contain, aleast according to my father" Luna replied as they let Amber and Kathany talk to Eve.

"Ideas huh?" Ellery raised his head for a moment before scratching his chin. He then turned and kissed Desiree once more before smiling. "How about Laura?"

"Hello." Naomi gritted both Cooper and Luna, she was walking along with Amber and Kathany when they saw them. She then turned to look at Eve. "Oh, hey babe." she greeted her and smiled.

"Laura? That doesn't sound too bad, but it's quite a common name" Desiree pointed out. "How about Tarissa or Falarae? You never hear anyone with those names, or not often" Desiree questioned.

Soon as Naomi appeared and talked to Eve, she started crying. "Aw, doesn't she like Naomi?" Kathany asked while Luna leaned down and picked Eve up to comfort her.

"I don't know, she seems pretty friendly to us, Desiree, Ellery, Jared and you guys, I am not sure why she's being like this now" Luna commented as Eve cried some more. "What is Naomi exactly?" Luna whispered to Cooper, wondering if whatever heritage she had, was the reason Eve was crying, Cooper looked a bit awkward.

"Um... She's a Mage, plain old Mage" Cooper said chuckling a little, considering her reaction to what Zephyr was, despite never meeting her, he didn't want to explain to her Naomi was a demon Lord of Sloth. Amber and Kathany exchanged glances wondering why he chose to lie to Luna about that.

Dirk's phone buzzed and he pulled it out of his pocket. 'The pieces are in place. You will know when the move must be made. Make sure you bring Alanah to me'

Dirk frowned at this message. Too many unanswered questions. But he simply sent back a message saying that it would be taken care of.
