"Actually that is our business." Shinn nodded his head and tugged on his jacket. "We have to stop the archangels and Fallen."

"I have no quarrel with them." Dirk pointed out after a moment. "I'm only here to keep Zeph safe and to see if I can uncover something, anything about who I am." He explained honestly.

"Well if we can defeat the archangels then you'll be able to." Shinn nodded his head and grinned. "At the moment this place is in danger and I'd doubt you can find anyone that'll answer your questions with things as they are now."

Dirk shrugged. "I suppose preventing a regime change would be in my best interest. After all, having the forces of heaven owe you a favor could be handy in the long run."

"I wouldn't count on them keeping that debt." Shinn deadpanned, remembering how much his family had helped the world but hadn't even gotten a word of thanks. "But anyways let's go."

"Don't we need a plan?" Ellery asked. "We're jumping into a war zone."

"Simple." Shinn nodded his head. "Hide in the clouds."

Dirk nodded. "Why do you think I'm wearing arctic gear in heaven?" He asked Ellery rhetorically. "It's not like I need to keep warm after all."

Jared looked in the distance and clenched his fist slightly before turning to Alice. "Try to stay hidden."

Amber had been in awe of both Eden and Heaven, she was only distracted by the explosion for a moment before focusing in the clouds. "Just think for a moment, we are probably the only few handful people in the entire history of humanity, that has seen Heaven like this, alive and return to tell the tale" Amber commented softly. "Well, aside from Half Angels if their full blooded parent ever took them" Amber added, even though the fight hadn't started with them just yet, she believed they would defeat them and return home soon.

"All right, let's start moving." Shinn said before he turned towards the cloud and jumped on top of one. Ellery actually gasped ,thinking that he would sink into them but he instead landed softly and unharmed. "What?" Shinn asked.

"So logic doesn't work here I take it." Gray pointed out. "Though when has it worked."

Dirk landed next to Shinn with two envelopes in his hand. "If I'm going to fight your battle along with you, I need you to promise me something." Dirk muttered to the headmaster, handing him the envelopes. "One is for Zeph the other is for Daphne..." He explained in a mutter. "It's an insurance policy... to make sure they're taken care of." He sighed. "Zeph would kill me if she knew I was planning for my death but in my line of work it's a short life expectancy." He pointed out.

"You do know that the fact she's carrying your kids and that Daphne's like a sister to you pretty much means that my whole family's gonna make sure they're taken care of right." Shinn pointed out to Dirk and began walking.

"I know that. But I wouldn't be who I was if I didn't make sure." Dirk said softly as he walked beside Shinn. "It wouldn't be right for me to rely on others to take care of them... it's my responsibility and I would never shy away from that."

Zephyr was back in the Earthly Paradise, with Kuroki guarding her. As a pregnant devilress, she is too much of a liability to get killed.

"I know and I admire that." Shinn nodded his head as he kept walking. At that moment he felt a strange presence watch over the group. "Mira, can you feel that?" he asked.

Ellery looked around curiously, the presence felt strangely familiar, so familiar that it made him frustrated.

Dirk blinked twice. He was allowing sentimentality to affect his focus and field performance. That was something he couldn't allow. He paused for a moment, pushing all thoughts of Zephyr and Daphne out of his mind. His fingers twitched over his quick draw holsters, ready to draw and fire in the blink of an eye.
