Thread: Nebula Academy: Search for the Chosen Ones (Start Up)

"Okay so now that we're done we should get going." Ellery nodded his head before turning to look at the final hall that led to the top and back to the room wher ehe and Alice were being kept. "Dirk already went ahead."

"It's okay though." Shinn nodded his head and pocketed his hands. "He won't get far, trust me on that."

The group had made its way to the last level once more, causing Ellery to stare at the large light that floated above them. "What's above?" Ellery wondered.

"Garden of Eden, is a sort of place connecting Purgatory to Heaven." Shinn stated.


"You ready?" Jared asked as he held Alice's hand.

Cooper remained behind them, silent as he stared up at the light, still not able to say anything, all he wanted to do was get back to the Academy and just stay in his room for who knows how long, or even find Luna again.

""I think we are all ready, let's go" Amber suggested, wanting to get back to the Academy as well but for a different reason then Cooper, she was starting to miss Noah and wondered what he was up to.

"As ready as I'll ever be," Alice nodded as she squeezed Jared's hand.

Jared looked at Alice and smiled before he squeezed her hand back. "Yeah, we're all ready." he nodded his head.

Shinn nodded his head before looking towards the light. Suddenly the light began to descend and enveloped the group swallowing them as they vanished into it. Once they opened their eyes they were standing in a plain grass field, the wind blew around them, the air was gentle and completely clean. Jared looked around him as he noticed a field of flowers not too far away as well as some mountains.

"So this is the Garden of Eden." Ellery pointed out in amazement.

"Yeah yeah Garden of Eden." Dirk walked over to the group with a lit cigarette between his lips. He looked quite annoyed about something. "There's no one here. Well except animals and shit." He muttered. "Useless. Absolutely useless."

"Well this place is suppose to represent what the world would be like if there weren't humans." Shinn pointed out while deadpanning at Dirk. "But yeah I figured you wouldn't be able to move from here."

"Okay so then how do we move from here?" Ellery asked with a raised eyebrow.

"There's a gate to heaven somewhere in this garden, we'll just have to find it." Shinn pointed out.

"I don't remember passing through here though," Alice commented, "Wouldn't Ellery and I have passed through here on our way down?"

"I'm assuming the gate can only be found by the heart of the pure or some nonsense like that." Dirk chuckled. "So yeah, didn't even bother looking after I had scoped this place out."

"No, it's just somewhere around here." Shinn pointed out and began walking. "Anyways let's start looking." he said before he began to search around.

"This is what was above our room." Ellery nodded his head. "Though arguably I got confused too."

Dirk figured he might as well let Shinn and the others do the work. After all he supposed he was in the Garden of Eden. Even if he was frustrated he might as well enjoy a once in an eternity opportunity.

Zephyr looked around, smiling as she looked around. "Such untouched beauty..." She said with awe.

((There is a river up here. The River Lëthe, I think.))

"I know right." Ellery pointed out as he looked at the garden. He began walking farther into the garden, noticing a river nearby. He felt something tug at his chest as if there was something in the river calling him. He grabbed a hold of his chest, remembering that it was the same feeling he had had back when he had first seen the gate to the garden. "I think I found it."

"The beauty of this place is nothing compared to you Zeph." Dirk said softly. "I'm glad to see that you're alright." He added.

Jared walked through the garden along with Alice he still amazed as he looked around at the beauty of it. "It looks out of this world." he said before turning to look at his girlfriend.
