'He doesn't suspect a thing...' Kuroki thought as she stalked Jared's feet underneath the bed.
"Kuroki ge tout of there." Jared deadpanned and looked at the cat.
"Hey Cooper..." Alice called back weakly.
'Damn.' Kuroki thought, she trotting out from underneath the bed.
"What were you doing?" Jared raised an eyebrow before he picked the cat up.
"Planning on attacking your feet." Kuroki mumbled.
"I'm honestly more concerned at what our child will be able to do at eight and nine." Dirk said after a few moments. "Because if she has the kind of power that I had at that age..." He sighed. "You never knew me back then so you don't know how chaotic my control was at that time." He explained in a hushed tone. "Far too little experience, far too many elements in there." He sighed. "It wasn't fun." He looked out the window for a long moment. "There's a reason that someone with my abilities feels the need to rely on firearms... when I was a kid my powers were all there... in fact they were improving exponentially as I fought more and more." He said in a hushed tone, clearly having a hard time with the memories. "They'd go out of control... and even now... you know how my eyes change color... that's been bugging me for years and I still can't fix that." He sighed. "I know I never said so before, but one of the reasons I was so scared when you told me that we were going to have a child was that I know what I am... what I went through... and I'm scared that our baby girl will have to walk the path that I did to get her powers under some semblance of control."
Daphne brushed her hand softly down Dante's arm. "You already do move with grace... think of when you spar." She said after a few moments. "I've seen you and your sister and Dirk fight hand to hand... and if you aren't graceful and beautiful during that then I don't know what is." She stopped, realizing she wasn't being the most helpful. "Based on what I've seen from Dirk, there's the combat zone that he gets into. Every move is in harmony with every other... it's like a dance." She smiled. "And you know this better than me I'm sure." She added before continuing. "Your challenge is to transfer that dance, that harmony, that perfect rhythm to your partners in battle."

Dante blushed. "I have never been complimented that way before. Alright then, I'll try." He said, then smacked himself. "Do or do not. There is no try." He said, using Yoda's voice.
Daphne smiled at this. "I know it's not your favorite thing in the world... I mean god I hate it too..." She laughed at this. "But you'll do great if you just treat it like another form of combat." She said reassuringly.
"That's the reason I've always wanted to know what I am." Dirk explained in a soft voice, clearly getting emotional over it. "Because I needed to know so I could figure out how to control myself."

"Same" Desiree responded with a small smile, she wasn't honestly wanting to stand around and just chit chatting, her mind running a thousand mile on what was going on.
"It sucks," Alice sighed, "But I gotta take it. It's what I have to endure though."
Cooper nodded his head, wondering if this is how badly Desiree would get hers. "Oh, I don't think I ever said it but um congrats?" Cooper said, more of a question since he wasn't sure how well they took it, since Desiree had pretty much freaked out, it would be understandable if Alice did when she found out.
Jared looked at Alice for a moment before sighing. "I really wish I could help you out more."
"I'm sorry am I being a burden?" Mea asked while looking at Desiree in thought.
"Thank you," Alice replied weakly.
Jared nodded his head before looking at the floor and scratching the back of his head.
