"Well, there she is." Jared deadpanned as he saw the scene with Kuroki.

"So where will we go during the winter break?" Alistair asked.

"I'm ready." Dirk said with a smile. "Like you I've wanted a real duel for months."

"Wherever you'd like," Rose answered simply.

Alice simply waved and headed back to her dorm that she shared with Jared.

Ciana nodded. "When the other two are ready, we'll go." She said.

"For now can you guys come with us though?" Ellery asked.

"How about Snowpoint?" Alistair wondered curiously.

"All of us? Where?" The twins asked, exchanging looks.

"I think it would be too cold for the babies," Rose frowned.

"How about Fortree?" Alistair wondered curiously.

A few minutes later both Jared and Ellery were standing opposite to each other in one of the training fields. "So, this time I'll actually show you what I've got." he smirked.

"Maybe, but too much heat and humidity," Rose sighed.

Alistair chuckled before leading against his chair and looking upwards. "How about Flaoroma town?"

"So your powers have improved?" Kathany asked as Amber paced her Battle Classroom, all of their Pokemon were free and walking around, she turned to Kathany and nodded her head. The two had only just caught up after Amber's return from the castle, she had fallen ill shortly afterwards and stayed in the medical wing until she felt better.

"Yeah, I have no idea how it happened, but I think the small training we did caused my powers to expand, able to shoot fire bullets and flamethrowers, the true Fire Mage way" Amber explained to her, Kathany looked between surprised and jealous.

"Great, yet I haven't managed to do a thing with mine, I have tried but it's like it doesn't want to do anything. I looked up Earth Mages and their abilities, there have been Mages known to cause earthquakes and Mother Nature to bend to her will, so why can't I do that?" Kathany questioned. Amber shrugged her shoulders before walking over to her.

"You just need more practice, maybe you need to be in a battle because that's what I did, I just wish I had more then fire, it became too easy for Cassim to strike back once he used his water skills" Amber assured her.

"I think your powers are fine, besides maybe next time you will have me backing you up, so he won't able to win so easily" Kathany pointed out, Amber smiled at her again as she walked to one side of the room.

"Thanks, but we should practice, the more training you get, the more chances your power will become useful" Amber replied, Kathany nodded her head before they begun, Amber shot out Fire bullets from the tip of her ring finger which Kathany avoided, however could only create earth roots so they kept training.

Desiree and Cooper walked into the training room together, both coming to watch them after Desiree had gotten a text from Ellery earlier. "Hey, hope we are not late to the show" Desiree said smiling, the two sat down to watch them.

"You know I think I should train soon, my power is still useless and treated like a static shock, rather then anything useful" Cooper commented, Lairon sat next to him looking like he was tired enough to fall asleep.

"I don't think that's true, you can do things. Better then me, all I can do is seduce a straight man, or a homosexual woman, or a bisexual and that only goes so far" Desiree replied, Cooper smiled slightly as they watched.

Calvin and Camille were on the sidelines, watching the action with anticipation. Ciana was meditating next to them, as per her usual pre-battle routine. Even while meditating, she could sense what was going on, so she didn't have to be directly watching.

Dirk was watching Ellery and Jared with an attentive eye. He wanted to see what they had learned.

Kuroki was still fighting with the Yokai. The Yokai in question is a Tsukumogami, which is the result of an discarded item that has waited for 100 years and gained sentience and demonic power, and are quite the hassle. While incredibly weak, they will annoy anyone in the vicinity into leaving, and other Yokai regard Tsukumogami with disdain, the bakenekos and nekomatas especially. This formed a heated one-sided blood-feud between the hellish cat demons and the 100 animated inanimate objects.

Zephyr watched the match play out, curious as to how the Japanese Yokai work. Having been born of Japanese blood with poor taste in names, she wanted to know how her ancestral homeland worked.

Ellery turned to Desiree and smiled at her. He then turned back to Jared and grinned. He was feeling confident to say the least; especially after the training he had had with Dante, he was now stronger and he could move a bit faster too; of course he still couldn't brag but it was enough to fight Jared. Ellery charged at Jared and moved his fists back before throwing them back forward. Jared didn't do anything instead stepping aside.

"Your punch is stronger."he nodded his head and began to dodge Ellery's attacks more, his body moving fluently and with rythmn. "But you're too unstable and you act without thinking." he said before hitting Ellery on the chest with a palm strike, causing him to step back and grit his teeth.

"Hey Katy." Naomi smiled and wrapped her arms around Kathany from behind.
