"Ask Van too so you'll have two best mans," Rose nodded.

"Kuroki," Alice asked, "Will you help me take care of this baby when its born? I mean, just make sure Jared does his work and protect her from harm."

"That's a good idea." Alistair nodded his head and smiled.

"I can do that on my own." Jared blushed in embarassment.

Dirk nodded and walked beside Ellery. "Well I didn't kill anyone." He explained vaguely. It was clear he was hiding something. "I was looking for something... something important..." He added. "Took me four days... but I found exactly what I wanted." He smiled. "So I was pretty much everywhere... and before you ask, I can't tell you what 'it' is." He admitted. "Not yet."

"Wedding ring?" Ellery asked and looked at ring.

"Sure thing. Don't have to ask me again." Kuroki said, smiling a cat-like grin.

Zephyr was looking at the maternity wear in a catalouge of a shopping chain on a roof somewhere in the academy, sitting in the shade underneath a patio umbrella with a fan blowing to keep her cool.

"Soon, I won't be able to fit in my clothes. Good thing I slipped under Dirk's radar. I want some of the selections be a surprise." She mused to herself.

Dirk was stunned that Ellery had figured him out. He nodded. "When the time is right." He said softly.

"I see..." Ellery nodded and pocketed his hands.

"You're... not a fan of that plan, are you?" Dirk didn't need to ask because he knew. "I figured this would be unpopular." He said softly. "But it's one of those things I feel I need to do."

"No it's a good plan." Ellery replied honestly. "However, I'd suggest doing it between these two days or after Rose's and Alistair's wedding, wouldn't want to spoil their big day."

Dirk laughed. "You know I don't like being the center of attention." He pointed out. "And plus, I already have something in mind but it will be after that whole thing."

"Sorry I'm late! Got a little carried away!" Zephyr called, appearing in a snowstorm.

"Quite alright dear." Dirk said with a smile as he pulled his lover into a tender kiss. "Missed you." He whispered.

"Hey sis." Ellery waved. "Do you want some ice cream?"
