Thread: Nebula Academy: Search for the Chosen Ones (Start Up)

"You think so?" Alistair raised an eyebrow.

"Black energy and it gives off an evil aura," Rose answered, "That thing has got to go. It's not going anywhere near the babies."

"I wasn't planning to." Alistair shook his head. He then summoned another broom, this one looking like a normal witch's broom. "5th broom Glide." he said before letting the broom float on its own and getting on. "Come on, we should go get Amber."

"I want to get back to the babies," Rose stated, "You go get Amber."

"Can you move though?" Alistair asked at her.

"I'm fine," Rose answered, "Just weak from the bites."

"You are starting to get tired aren't you? Why don't you go home and forget any of this happened, leave Rose and the others alone" Amber threatened him, a fireball in her hand but she didn't throw it. "Now, what do you want to do?" Amber asked darkly.

"Ah, I love fake outs." Sil said, looking at the last moments of the duel.

"Awwww! That's so sweet!" Natalie said, smiling. "How long have you two been together?" She asked, hands on her cheeks.

"Looks like he's got Oni blood in him." Kuroki said with a shudder. "The Yōkai equivalent of the devil race." She quickly explained.

Camille frowned. "It's nice and all, but do you have to go all out on us?" She asked. "I mean, this is only training, right?"

"As they'd say back home, 'Fight every battle as if it were your last.'" Ciana replied. "Besides, I've had years of training compared to your weeks. Not to mention I was making up for having missed yesterday."

"You take this seriously, don't you?" Camille asked.

"Everyone takes something seriously." Ciana replied. "For me, it's combat. I've been a part of the battlefield so long that it has become a part ofd me. And it's one of two things I'm good at. The other is Pokémon battling. But I'm far better at the former than the latter. So answer me this..." She turned to face Camille with a serious expression. "When you're no longer at the only things you've ever been good at, what do you have left, huh? What do you have?"

"..." Camille was unable to process an answer, so she stayed quiet.

"That's why it's important to stay good at the things you're good at, because they're all you've got." Ciana said, sitting down on a rock and staring into space.

"A couple of months now." Dirk answered with a gentle smile. "It's been..." He stopped. "It's been better than I could have imagined."

"He's mostly dragon though." Elise pointed out towards Kuroki.

"Elise can you introduce me, you know I can't stay sitting here all somberly for a long time." her father pointed out dryly and turned to the visitors. "Hello, my name is Hiryuu, it's nice to meet you and it's nice to see you again Jared."

"Same here sir." Jared nodded his head nervously, he had always been intimidated by the arua that Elise's father let out.

"Shut up." Cassim gritted his teeth. At that moment he was able to see Alistair and Rose speeding towards Amber. "Amber, return your Pokemon and grab my hand!" Alistair yelled.

"Nice to meet you, sir," Alice bowed respectfully.

Rose was resting on Alistair's back. She was weak from her attacks.

"What's your name young girl?" Hiryuu asked Alice.

"I'm Alice," Alice replied, "Jared's girlfriend."

"Well it's nice to meet you Alice." he nodded his head before standing up. "Follow me, you must be hungry."
