"Hikari if you want to know more about us why not just ask." Ellery chuckled. He then turned to Desiree and laughed. "Good thing your honest."

"Thanks." Jared smiled at Dirk before turning to Hikari. "Actually we could play that one where we write stuff down." Jared pointed out. "I mean she could just raise her hand if someone gets hers right." he said while looking at the girl.


"I know that much." Shinn snickered.

"I really don't have many writing utensils though......"replied Hikari although she was excited that not everyone shunned her ideas. She wasn't used to be in social situations. She attempted to being very outgoing and peppy.
This personality bores me, she thought.

At the notion of her playing a game, the girl trained a hard glare on Ellery, and slowly shook her head.

"I don't think she's in a playing mood." Camille said, sweatdropping.

"Well too bad." Ellery frowned at her. "You know we're all trying something you can't just stay there scrowling for no reason."

The girl looked around, then shrugged as if asking 'What am I supposed to do?'

"To be fair, she won't be cooperative if she feels like she's being forced." Camille said.

"Well she doesn't have to do it if she doesn't want to but what does want to do then?" Ellery asked with a raised eyebrow. "I mean she can't expect us to guess everything." he said before looking into a drawer and taking out a notepad and pencil. "Write." he stated simply.

Hikari slowly walked over to the girl. She tried to relate to her. "It's okay if you're scared or uncomfortable. It would be nice if we could communicate with you."
She then lowered the tone of her voice. "Between you and me, I am not good at communicating either. I spent most of my life in silence but that was for other reasons. And I'm not as outgoing as I seem. If you would like to communicate with me, I'll be at the chair near the couch."

Hikari then backed away and went back to her seat.

The girl eased up a little once she heard this. It was clear to her now that they had simply been going about it the wrong way. She took the notepad and pencil, then started writing. Once she was done, she handed it back. In somewhat shaky handwriting, it read: 'My name is Ciana.'

"Okay that's ag ood step." Ellery pointed out.

"Honey." Alistair smiled. "You look perfect."

"Nice to meet you Ciana." Daphne said with an easygoing smile. "I'm Daphne." She introduced herself.

"Even in a t-shirt that's three sizes too big, and grey sweats?" Rose giggled as she put her hair in a ponytail.

Hikari smiled on the fact that she helped Ciana become more comfortable. I like being helpful than hotheaded much better, she thought.

She had took two sheets from the notepad and wrote her fact and a message to Ciana on the other. So far, it was Ciana's way of communicating.

It read: My name is Hikari Nana. I am from the quite cold city of Snowpoint and am a half-angel. I am getting used to be surrounded by loving and caring people so I may have a few screw ups interacting with others. However, that does not prevent me from being as caring as I can while controling my feelings.

"I think she can hear us, she just can't talk." Jared nodded his head before he looked at Alice for a moment.

"I'm Ellery." he smiled before giving Ciana a thumbs up.

Ciana looked at the note, then nodded all everyone who had introduced themselves. She began writing on the notepad again. 'It is an honor to meet you all. I am a psychic Mage from a war-torn Middle Eastern village. Mages like myself are always raised to be warriors. I was forced to escape when my homeland was taken over. This place is all my only chance at living a somewhat normal life, among others like me. The individuals by the names of Calvin and Camille found me wandering here earlier today, and have been guiding me.

"Are you a student here?" Ellery wondered.


"Of course." Alistair smiled at her.
