Thread: Nebula Academy: Search for the Chosen Ones (Start Up)

Trey just shot a glare at Calvin, then retracted the weight and chain with a push of a button. "I'm sorry." He said, stabbing the spear into the ground and bowed deeply to Camille.

"Thank you, Trey!" Zephyr called out, blowing a kiss to him, then jumped and landed on the clock tower's base. "... Damn." The merman breathed out. Why did he had to inherit that temper his family is so infamous for?

OOC: The teachers introduced themselves then the students were sent off on a treasure hunt to the clock tower.

"Why does she always have to show off," Ellery frowned as he and the group he was leading made it to the entrance of the clocktower. "All right we're here. Zephyr get down here I need my strongest minion by my side!"

Vesper looked around the tower. "Well, how do we find it?" "Why don't we ask someone?" Derry pointed to empty space. "There's no-one there." Vesper deadpanned.

With the sex fiend nowhere to be found, Mona gives up on the search and turns her attention to the treasure hunt. Looking disappointed, she examines one of the papers that had fallen down from the roof..

"Suckers!"

From within the group, Alban emitted a sudden flash of bright light, meant to disorient and temporarily blind the others as he and Blake made a mad dash inside the clock tower, heedless of the others or the fact that they probably should've thought things through a bit more before wandering through this big structure. But of course, with the enticing prospect of treasure on the line, they would stop at nothing to get there before the others did.

Dirk's sunglasses came in handy once more, allowing him to avoid being blinded by the light. "Okay seriously." He chuckled. "I think all y'all need to chill the fuck out." He held out his hands. "Kids running around with weapons and powers... my god someone's going to get killed." He continued to laugh. "So why don't we stop the ego contest and just relax. It's a nice day outside and I really don't feel like having to do lifesaving first aid on somebody because swords and spears and powers were flying around for no good reason."

Enrique was so busy thinking about the answer, he didn't realize people were grouping up until most of the people already were. Looking for a partner, he saw a girl looking at a piece of paper. She was kind of cute.
"Fair mademoiselle, it would seem that people are grouping up." Enrique said to Mona. "Would you like to join me and investigate the clock tower?"

"You guys are all dumbasses," Ellery muttered as wind blew from inside the building, pushing everyone that was ahead of him back with its strength. "Your charging head first into unknown territory, besides isn't it easier to complete things as a group, plus we don't even know where to go next."

"You out of your mind?" Blake said incredulously. "We don't need any of your help! We're taking what we can get!"

"Now, hold on a moment, Blake," Alban said, calming his brother. "I think the guy's onto something. Honestly, I don't know why I went through with that idea. Now that's we've seen the...oh, what did you lot call them? Daemons? Whatever they are, who knows, maybe there are some of 'em lurking around up there. Maybe it would be a better idea to pull our heads together for this."

However, Alban directed a very faint wink towards his brother, who shut up really quickly, still looking somewhat upset that he couldn't go through with his original plan. "Fine, fine. But if they get us killed, I'm blaming you."

Dirk once again lit a cigarette for himself with nothing more than a thought. "What's with people of our age and needing so badly to show off?" He asked aloud.

"First of all it's not like you'll actually die since it's a school," Ellery stated with a shrugged. He began to walk forward. "Follow me my minions."

"We're not your minions." Jared deadpanned as he kept going. The group eventually reached a red colored box stuck to a metal pole. Ellery opened the box carefully before taking out another note.

"Now that you've reached the clock tower it is time to begin with the second part of the game," he read. "The tower has a total of 6 floors before reaching the roof, The teachers have been scattered through each of these floors, as of this point you will have to go up the tower while also completing the games that the teachers have set up for you...good luck...smiley face," Ellery groaned at the last part. "Cus...you're an idiot some times." he groaned.

"Ahhhhhhhh..." Dirk understood when he heard Ellery. "It's cause his family runs the place." He laughed at this. "No wonder he thinks he's the boss."

"Picking a fight on day one." Daphne sighed.

"A fight is all we really need," Alice sighed with a frown, "I do really hope that we can at least make it through this treasure hunt."

"I'd still be the boss even if my cousin wasn't the principal," Ellery pointed out simply before shrugging.

"I don't doub it," Jared stated before turning to Alice. "Yeah I agree, we should go to th efirst challenge," he stated and began to walk. "I wonder who the first one will be though."
