"That's nice," Alice sighed as she was rubbing her stomach.
"Once we're there we'll take you to one of the main rooms." Elise reassured as they wwalked out of the cave. They were now standing inside of a lush green forest, the sun was shining down on the plants and the ground lightning a dirt path that went from outside the cave and through the trees and plants.
"So we're almost here?" Alice asked again, "The twins are hungry."
"They haven't been born?" Elise pointed out with a raised eyebrow.
"I'm only sixteen weeks," Alice commented, "I still have twenty weeks to go."
"Oh, right." Elise shook her head and rubbed her forehead slightly.
"Are you okay?' Jared raised an eyebrow.
"I just haven't gotten enough sleep." she pointed out simply.
"Hope you can sleep easy soon," Alice frowned.
"It's okay." Elise nodded her head. They finally came to a stop and were now standing in front of a large mansion, the mansion itself seemed to cover about a mile and had a large garden along with multiple paths that connected it with other buildings. "This is it."
"This is where I grew up." Jared nodded his head.
"It's beautiful," Alice gasped as she saw the mansion and the surrounding gardens.
"Yeah it's alittle too big though." Jared chuckled nervously while ruffling the back of his head. "You could actually get kind of lost."
"I need to learn my way around if we're going to be living here," Alice replied.
"You can have a tour after you've rested Alice." Elise informed. She then turned to Jared. "There's something else though."
"What is it Elise?" Jared raised an eyebrow a bit confused at Elise's tone.
"Your grandfather is here." Elise nodded her head, causing Jared to gasp a bit as the two stared at each other.
"Who?" Alice asked as she closed her eyes. The trip had indeed worn her out.
"My grandfather." Jared replied. "He's the current head since my dad died and no one else has taken the place."
"I see," Alice mumbled before slowly drifting off to sleep.
